I'm hesitant to review this place because we want to keep it all to ourselves! Honestly, the pictures don't do it justice. The condo was clean, spacious and prefectly situated on the property. Gorgeous views from a comfortable balcony living room. The pools were large with ample space for guests and never crowded. With a bar and restaurant next door, fresh fish sold by locals after their day on the water, and the local supermarket a short walk or uber ride away- what more could you ask for?! Our young teen girls joined us and their room with 2 beds was a perfect fit for them. We enjoyed this so much we are already talking about our return! This was a find we were more than happy with, just don't tell anyone!

We loved Dan and Judy's place, it was so clean and had anything and everything we needed. Beds were super comfortable! The Lanai was spacious and so nice.The location was perfect, close to Grocery Stores and great places to eat. So convenient to San Jose, where we enjoyed the Art Walk and Restaurants there as well. Both Judy and the property Managers were so nice to work with. Just great people !! I highly recommend !! Cant wait to stay here again !! Thank you Judy and Dan :)

Incredible place with resort feel but without the noisy bustle. The place was clean and well stocked. We loved the lanai with the beautiful sunrises, 3 temperature pools and direct access to the beach. Our only critique would be that there was no hot water to the master shower but it didn't take away from us recommending this place.

Just an awesome stay. Condo and property are well maintained. And clean! Will definitely come again!

My wife and I spent 8 days here, and it was really nice to be at a low key property ( no time share pressure) the week was very relaxing with some golf and Thursday night art walk. We had meals at the palapa as well as Mama Mia’s next store just steps on the beach away! It was wonderful sitting on the balcony watching sunrise and drinking Mexican coffee!! A 5star get away, hoping to return again soon….. thank you Dan and Judy! Oh yeah we saw whales from the balcony too !!

We loved our trip to San Jose del Cabo, and this apartment was simply perfect. Waking to the sound of crashing waves, sunrises over the beach, plentiful swimming, and comfortable accommodations- what more could we ask for? We loved having breakfast every morning on the balcony overlooking the beach, and our 5-year-old couldn’t get enough of the pool. Dan and Judy offered lots of recommendations ahead of time and were fantastic hosts. We hope to be back someday!

Great Villa on the beach! Very comfortable with wonderful place to stay. Excellent having 2 Bed/ 2 bath and a full kitchen. Property managers did some preshopping which was very helpful for us. Thanks!

We really lucked out! Perfect location(close to everything); beautiful condo; very clean and secure; nice and large with all of the amenities you need for home away from home. Property managers on site were also so lovely and accommodating. Highly recommend - we will definitely be back!

We just returned from a fantastic 8 night stay at this beautiful oceanfront property. We fell in love the moment we arrived. The check-in was seamless, the onsite managers arranged our transfers and we opted to have them stock our fridge which I highly recommend! The condo is lovely, well equipped and has the most amazing patio. We watched the waves for hours from the most comfortable outdoor furniture on the deck and spent the majority of our days floating in the gorgeous pools. The complex itself is well maintained and quiet. The neighbors and other guests were all very welcoming and friendly. We took advantage of the Friday Fish Lady who comes to the complex with her truck of coolers and sold us the most delicious Seabass, Halibut and massive Prawns. We bought $40 US worth of fish which provided us with 4 amazing dinners that we bbq'd in the comfort of the condo. We loved going into the town of San Jose Del Cabo and we found our favorite local beach front restaurant Mama Mia's which was right next to the complex. We spent several Happy Hours ( 2 for 1 Margaritas) and dinners with our feet in the sand, listening to their live music and entertainment of the night. We have rented VRBO's all over the world and even own one ourselves, however this was the first time we have rented a VRBO in Mexico. I have no idea why we opted for the all-inclusives for so long. This condo is the perfect spot for an amazing vacation and Judy and the onsite team at the complex made every bit of our stay effortless. We ate better food, had a more tranquil environment to relax and took the 8 days at our own pace. We have booked to return next year!

I rented this condo because it had a huge balcony overlooking the ocean and pool. We ate outside and lounged on their comfortable chairs and sofa outside. The flowers and palm trees added to the beauty. We had the best massage ever at the rental! All organized ahead of time. Both bedrooms had very comfortable beds and the master bathroom rainwater shower head was heaven. The kitchen was well stocked and we cooked 2 meals. The owners sent us a welcome email days before check in. Asking if we wanted the fridge stocked, massages on balcony, or a ride from airport. Great communication. One of the pools was heated. Great swim. Another pool, unheated, and a hot tub. Pool chairs facing the beach made for a relaxing day. Walking the beach was easy. We had a great meal at the restaurant next door, Mama Mia’s. Right on the beach. It was a wonderful comfy stay and I will definitely book again!!! Thank you!!!!!

My sister and I along with our college daughters had a wonderful stay at the Sage's condo! El Zalate is top notch with wonderful staff. Very safe location, close to restaurants and grocery stores. The beach view, pool and property is amazing. We didn't rent a car, just Uber when needed. The condo was nicely decorated and clean with a large patio and beautiful view. The beach was quiet and fun to play in the waves. We snorkeled and swam at nearby Pamilla Beach. I cannot wait to visit again someday!

We had a wonderful time at the condo. Condo is very comfortable, clean, quiet and convenient to San Jose Del Cabo & Cabo San Lucas activities. Great for family. Balcony view to the ocean is stunning! Sunrise/sunset is a must see! Transportation at airport was coordinated and great to have someone pickup. Highly recommended!

The view from the deck is like a postcard! All the amenities you need to relax and enjoy the sunshine. The pools are wonderful and the crashing waves are magnificent. Easy access to the adorable downtown of San Jose del Cabo. Wonderful, safe, well appointed condo for 4 adults.

A million dollar view √ Beach in my front yard √ Beautiful condo √ Well stocked kitchen √ Beach toys and chairs √ Super helpful staff √ Super helpful owners √ Wonderful in the sand restaurant next door √ Shoot out to Rudy for doing our shopping and having the frig stocked the night we got there, that was amazing. We did walk down to the grocery store a few days later, not far at all. We took Uber back because we didn’t want to carry the groceries, Uber was $5.00 US. There is also a convenience store literally at the end of the drive way that sells a variety of things, they even had lactose free milk for the baby and liquor for the adults. This is a small complex with only 70 (I think) units and the majority of the owners live there at least part of the year. Everyone was so nice, they even loaned us a pool float for the 1 year old. Highly recommend this place!!!!! 5 stars to the condo and 5 stars to everyone I dealt with!!

Our third stay at El Zalate and it never fails to impress. Dan & Judy’s Condo is immaculate and well appointed, and well equipped with everything you need. The views from the massive terrace are breathtaking and Its the perfect spot for morning coffee or evening cocktails! The owners are easy to communicate with if needed and the Complex is meticulously maintained with beautiful pools and grounds. The location is perfect for quick access to groceries, restaurants, and sightseeing. We highly recommend staying here.

Unit was exactly as described. Clean with a beautiful view on an immaculately maintained grounds. Felt very safe and enjoyed miles and miles of beautiful beaches for daily walks. Judy checked in on us halfway through to ensure everything was fine and was very helpful answering all our questions before we got there. Will definitely rebook if returning to this area. This was our second stay at the Sages’ Palapa, and we’ve already booked our third. The condo is in a wonderful location — great pool access and beach view. We saw dozens of whales from the pool area or the condo’s terrace. There is ample cookware and plenty of towels, comfy beds, and great furniture on the terrace. Many good restaurants and supermarkets are nearby. You’ll have no trouble eating well! If you’re inside, and that doesn’t happen often, there dozens of channels available on Dish TV. I can’t imagine anyone not loving this fabulous unit!

Our second time to El Zalate and first time to this unit. Beautifully decorated and spotless. Homeowners and property manager were both very responsive and helpful. We will be back!

It was our first trip to Los Cabos and this condo was perfect. Great location, very private, quiet, and absolutely beautiful! Everything is as advertised and better. Top notch!

We really loved our time in this unit. It had everything we needed and the view / patio was amazing! The pools and decks were also very nice and many hours were spent relaxing and gazing out at the ocean. A lovely spot overall.

Again, we loved our stay at El Zalate! The views, the ambience, the peace and tranquillity, plus a very well supplied condo for all your cooking needs etc. was exactly what we arrived to. Dan and Judy were more than accommodating and very quick to reply to any questions that we had. Only one problem, three weeks was not enough! Anyone staying in this condo would never be did disappointed.

The deck is our highlight; boasting an amazing view, comfortable furniture and private. We’ve been staying at VRBO properties for over 15 years. The Sage’s Palapa is by far THE BEST! Beautiful location and view, comfortable beds, wonderfully equipped kitchen, plenty of towels. What’s not to like? We already booked for next year. Can’t wait!

Such a gorgeous condo on a breathtaking beach. The condo was decorated perfectly. We felt right at home instantly. Favourite part was waking up, grabbing a coffee and watching the sunrise from the deck. Can’t wait to book another stay.

The condo was exactly as described. The owners were responsive and the management company friendly. You need to post a photo of the kitchen! Every amenity was provided and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The restaurant next door, Mama Mia, had great food and atmosphere. We highly recommend!

Well appointed condo with absolutely everything we needed. The balcony was very large, and comfortable. A great place for watching the morning sunrise and enjoying an evening cocktail. El Zalate is very conveniently located. Beach is gorgeous. A close restaurant, Sardina Cantina, which is located at the top of the driveway towards town, is marvelous. Best Yellowfin Tuna we have ever tasted. We visited Cabo one day, and were happy to get back to San Jose. Plenty to do, but with a more relaxed feel. We would highly recommend and hope to return next year. Fabulous.

El Zalate is a great property- beautifully maintained pool and grounds and views that take your breath away. The condo itself is such a pleasure to stay in. It is obvious there is pride of ownership here. It is one of the nicest and best equipped VRBO properies we have ever stayed in. Everything you need is here. Our favourite spot is the huge deck.We spent many happy early mornings drinking our coffee watching the sunrise and loved our candlelit dinners at the outdoor dining table. Seated on the comfortable patio couch sipping our morning coffee we watched several beautiful sunrises. There are many things to do in the area. Or you can just lay in the sun. The condo is great and has everything you need.

The owners, Dan and Judy, make the rental process super easy. Their Palapa is beautiful in every way! And the location in the complex is perfect! We woke up to the most gorgeous sunrise every day and sat out on the spacious and well appointed balcony to watch the sunset at night. We look forward to staying here again ASAP :)
