First time visiting Chincoteague island. This house was clean and comfortable with everything we needed. It has a nice layout with a sunroom in the front and a screened in porch in the back. It has plenty of space for a family. I also liked that it had cable tv so we could watch a football game. We enjoyed biking on the island and in the beach at the state park. Chincoteague is a nice place without all the hustle and bustle of the normal beach town.

Very good! But we are "old school" and there were too many remotes (6 maybe) unlabeled in the living room. Took some time to figure which operated tv. Never could get bedroom TV to work with remote.

Our family of three found the Les Bon Temps to be a comfortable house for a week. The kitchen was well supplied with cooking utensils and serving plates, which I really appreciated. The area was quiet for sleeping. Response to a minor maintenance request was very prompt. We could see the lighthouse and shore birds with a short walk from the rental. Getting to any sights on the island was a short drive. The only drawback was that there wasn't a "neighborhood" nearby with any local stores or restaurants within walking distance. I would recommend

This place is exactly as described. It has all the kitchen things you could need, excellent communication with the owners, and is super quiet at night. We will be back for a longer stay next time!

Wonderful house with perfect location.

Really enjoyed our stay at this home. Loved the enclosed front porch/sitting room and screened in back porch. Nice kitchen and living room with large sectional. Bedroom sizes were adequate. Having 2 baths was nice. My only negative comment would be with the small size of the hallway bath it would be nice to have some hooks to hang your clothes on while showering. Nice location with the water just across the road. Met the Owner's who were very nice. Would definitely stay again.

This was our first time vacationing in Chincoteague and we were very happy with our stay. The house was perfect for our needs. It was spacious enough, clean, and just as described. My favorite part of the house was most definitely the screened in porch. When we weren't shopping or at the beach, that is where I spent most of my time. We will recommend and book again when the time comes.

Perfectly situated walking distance to kayak rentals/ eco tour company. Quiet! Cottage is perfect for 5-6 people.

This is a lovely little property, you can see the water and lighthouse from the sunroom. The screened in back porch and fire pit was lovely. Oh and not to forget the outside shower, perfect to de-sand the little ones before going in. Everything you need is in the kitchen (oh but fyi, no kurig but a regular coffee maker). The living room sofa was so comfy. I have only one complaint, the bed in the master suite was as hard as the floor and the sun came through the top round window at the crack of dawn. And I did not give the check in process 5 stars because I think there could have been a little more flexibility, check in at 4 is late and check out at 10am is early, even hotel chains give a little more time/flexibility.

Home as described. Spacious and comfortable for 6. Loved the screened deck for eating. Had to call maintenance number for minor shower issues and they arrived within 10 minutes… on a Sunday no less. We had a fun time and would stay again!

Rental was perfect for our girl’s trip. Accurate description of property, very clean and simple check in.

The house was clean, convenient to everything. Had all the amenities we needed. We enjoyed the outside when the weather allowed.

The place was amazing! The rooms were up-to-date, cozy, and clean. One of my favorite days was visiting the Museum of Chincoteague and seeing the ponies on Assateague, then coming back to the house and finding a copy of the movie, Misty of Chincoteague! We sure did spend the evening watching the movie! It was a perfect weekend!

Really nice and clean house, well equipped. Everything was as described an we really enjoyed our stay with a family group of five.

The property was very nice and clean, the facilities were better than expected, the location was somewhat secluded but not totally private ... I would stay there again!

Nice house, good layout. Very comfortable for our family. It had everything we needed. This was our fourth time in Chincoteague but the first on that side of the island. We had a very relaxing week with lots of beach time, which is what we wanted!

This house was adorable and had so many great indoor as well as outdoor spaces for entertaining and relaxing! Even better in person that the pictures depict. We would definitely stay again!

Wonderful little house! Was well stocked with everything we needed! The weather was really bad for our weekend.... so we were stuck in the house all weekend! House was perfect!

The most quitest place we have ever stayed. Amazing house, location was perfect. Close to lighthouse, great view.

Everything was fine except the porch had not been cleaned. There was a used Kleenex on the floor, and serious cobwebs in the corner. The table was covered with dust. The house itself was very clean. Kitchen was well equipped. Bed in the master bedroom was firm and comfortable.

This adorable house was perfect for all ages including elderly parents and kids. We used it as a central place for 3 other families to come together for meals each evening. Clean, quiet, and easy to get to the refuge and Main street. Thanks for a wonderful time!

House was well maintained and well outfitted. It's away from the main island traffic, so it's reasonably quiet. At night, there is sound from the refrigerated trucks at the seafood company, which might be an issue if you had the windows open, but we couldn't hear them with the windows closed and the air conditioning on.

We were fortunate to find a place because everything was booked. This is a good location if you are into fishing and kayaking-right across the street. Although the square footage is small, there is enough room for everyone to have their own space to chill out. The screen porch is nice.

We’ve got two kids, 3 and 5. They loved roasting marshmallows and running in the yard. Kitchen was great and bedrooms were comfortable.

My family of 6 enjoyed staying at this clean and comfortable small house. Loved the outdoor shower and screened in porch. We thought the house could use a few small upgrades and some games would be nice. Overall a pleasant stay in a lovely town.

The house is very nice and easy to get to. Very comfortable. I would recommend this property.

Loved the house! The upstairs bedroom was the best. Great place to work and sleep. Just know that when they say linens are not included this also means towels, kitchen and bath, and also comforters. Just bring it all.

My family had a comfortable stay at Les Bon Temps. The property was clean and well-cared for. The house is small but sufficiently sized for my family of 4. The fire pit and outdoor shower were welcome features. The neighborhood is quiet and a conveniently short drive or bike ride to the refuge and beaches on the National Seashore.

A group of us stayed in Les Bon Temps for a late summer trip to Chincoteague. The home was clean and in a nice location. With 6 guests and 2 bathrooms, it was nice to have the option of an outdoor shower. The firepit was a selling point for me when first looking for rentals, and we made much use of it. Overall, a great experience.
