Breakfast great and served quickly. Location was very handy for what we were doing.
Our bathroom was a bit chilly and stayed damp for quite can while. An extractor fan might help.

It is a very minor thing but there were no toiletries provided (i.e. shampoo and shower gel). Everything else was pretty good.

Location is excellent. We enjoyed our stay. The staff were friendly and the breakfast service was very good. The choice was also very good.
We were kept waiting to check in when we arrived as there was no-one at the property. The member of staff that was on the way was delayed by terrible traffic in the local area. There was a bit of confusion over which room we were going to stay in. It was on the third attempt that we were given a room that had been made up. To be fair to the owner of the property he did contact us by phone and apologised and also refunded the parking permit costs as a gesture of good will which we were grateful for.
The shower head in our room could do with descaling as Portsmouth is a very hard water area and shower heads do need a regular descale to keep the flow rate up.

Well located bed and breakfast lodge to spend time in Portsmouth. Very close to Southsea seafront and tucked away from the busy roads. Room was a good size with private clean bathroom. Room also had a kettle, teas and coffees which was a lovely add on for our stay. Breakfast was really good, with a choice between a full English or eggs - all prepared by the lovely staff. Staff was amazing and super accommodating, greeted us on check in and explained everything. Definitely recommend as a stay for a young couple or families visiting Portsmouth.
We stayed during quite a warm weekend and it would have been nice to have a lighter bed linen to keep cooler during the night or a fan in the room would have served the same purpose. In the end, this really is nit-picking as this would not have been an issue on most other weekends.

Good location near the sea and bus stop to go to the center. Nice and clean house and rooms, nice host:-)
Breakfast was nice, but little bit short, and not too much selection from other things no fruits, fruit juice ran out quick, and only 30 min to do the breakfast
No chairs and table in the room, only when we asked got a table, little bit old furniture in the room

The absolute best pillow I’ve ever slept on away from home. Garry, the host, was really friendly and welcoming.
The kettle was situated under the coat rack which meant we could hang stuff up. I would have liked a sheet below the duvet as I like to be covered but the duvet can be a bit warm at my stage of life 😂😂

It was very clean. The staff was very friendly and polite. Breakfast was nice, everyone went above and beyond.
Our neighbors was so loud. It was like they was moving furniture around and they kept shouting at one another. I know this is not the hotels fault but obviously if this did not happen then I would have had a better night sleep and could have given it a bigger rating.

Gary was an exceptional host, nothing was too much trouble. I asked for information he gave me what he knew and the following day gave me more from what he had found out after.
The house was very clean & tastefully decorated. My room had everything needed and was topped up daily.
The breakfast smelt gorgeous but unfortunately I can't eat until after 10am by which time I was at work 😌.
Very well situated for local transport, between beach and a high street with almost every choice of food and budget.
Very good place to stay.
I had to leave at the end of my training 😂😂

Staff are so friendly , made sure our motorbikes were in a safe place over night ..breakfast was nice and overall would stay there again

Shame we couldn’t get the TV working, but it was all very pleasant enough. Had to go up three floors- that’s fair enough. The shower was a little tepid but fair. Parking is always an issue but they helped.

Able to check-in early.
Well organized, comfortable room, that was lacking a place for my laptop. A picnic table and chair were provided immediately.
Hot water tap on the sink was so tight that I could not open it. Assumed this was a cost saving measure, so did not mention it.
Shower water temperature was tepid. Shower was very slow draining.
There was confusion about breakfast. Apparently I was not entitled to breakfast for 50p, as per my booking.
