I consider the cleaning fee to be a scam. At the front door I was met with spiderwebs. The porch light fixture was so full of dead bugs that the light barely shined through it. One showers curtain had red mold growth. A dripping faucet in the master tub had left extensive green residue. The top of the refrigerator was caked with dust. The oven was filthy. I opened a cooler on the patio and found stagnant water and a moldy ball. The toilet in the master bath would run unless the flush handle was manipulated. The floor felt dirty. A rug in the living room was stained or dirty. It was clear that only the most superficial cleanings had been done and the dirt accumulated over a long period of time. I have pictures to document the condition of the rental. think that I should be refunded the cleaning and set up fee.

This property does not disappoint and on my What a view!! This is our second time around and I see plenty more times ahead. Love it!!

The best short stay rental we have had. Perfect spot on the lake. Definitely worth renting the pontoon boat as well. House is clean and very comfortable. Beds are quality too. We will be back!

This was a very nice place and we all enjoyed our stay.

We had a great stay at this property. Kitchen and pantry were well stocked with everything you may need. The bedrooms were a little smaller than pictured and all but the master lacked closet space. The den, kitchen and outdoor porches provided plenty of gathering space. Overall a great place to enjoy some family time with a beautiful view.

What a fun and relaxing weekend! The house was clean and stocked with everything we needed. All went well and gave the four of us a beautiful place to get away from the busyness of everyday living. Thanks for a fantastic weekend!

Our favorite may have been the visiting deer family at dusk and early morning! So delightful!

Our family met here too enjoy a weekend birthday retreat. This home is as beautiful as the surrounding lake. Danny was super responsive and easy to work with. We hope we get the chance to visit again!

My family and I enjoyed our time here sooo much . I could just live on the porch forever!! The bedrooms are a tad small with the exception of the master . But the kitchen had everything we needed . We always travel well stocked but this kitchen had more than most 🙌🏼Just bring drinking water and don’t be shocked by the color of the water (well water I guess) Tv worked great !! Everything was clean and Danny’s instructions were a breeze to follow compared to other places we have been .. Great property and Host !!!

Spent a week on Lake Norman. This was a great house with a great owner. Danny was very easy and quick to communicate with. He answered all of our questions and was a great host. The house is in a perfect location and has everything needed for a week away from home. Grocery stores and restaurants are minutes away. Take advantage of renting Danny’s boat or jet ski as both provide some fun family time. Bring your fishing gear too as we caught numerous catfish right off the dock at night. Back porch was a daily gathering spot for everyone. Would definitely stay again!!

Our family of 7 loved this lake home, plenty of room, Stunning views, swimming all day. Everything everyone needed for a perfect lake vacation.

owner is fabulous with communications, and we had all we needed. Quiter side of the lake if that is what you are looking for. Perfect for kids.

We loved it! We tried to leave it nicer than we found it ... It was PERFECT!

The house is spacious and clean and Danny communicated and made sure we had what we needed. We had our family thanksgiving there and the kitchen was awesome to cook in and the kiddos loved playing football in the big yard! Awesome location. Feels very private and quiet. Would recommend!!

We had a wonderful stay at the property. The location is beautiful - the house was clean and inviting- and the leaves put on a show. We would definitely come back!

This property is one to return to. The home is spacious, tastefully decorated, clean and has the perfect cozy lake house feel. The showstopper is the back covered patio and unbelievable views of the lake. The flat yard provided space for the children to run around whilst we (the adults) sat outside to take it all in! Communication with the owners was easy and for any inquiry, there was prompt reply. You really cannot beat it! Thank you Danny and family. - Amy

I reserved this house because of the pictures of their view, location on the lake & their back patio. Love to have a cup of coffee or glass of wine, while soaking in the lake & sky. Everything was as described. Nice neighborhood in which to walk, covered parking, clean house with plenty of seating inside & out. I would recommend bringing paper towels & Keurig pods, if you like coffee, and If you'll want to do laundry, bring some pods. There is salt & pepper & spices in the kitchen cupboard & there were dishwasher pods, hand & dish soap The beds were comfortable, and the owner was quick to respond & welcomed any questions. I would recommend!

We gathered for a family reunion of sorts with members ages 3 months to 58 years. Everyone enjoyed their stay. The house was very clean and has been nicely remodeled. The master bedroom is amazing. The others are a little small without much closet space. The part of the house we loved the most is the back porch: huge, very livable and relaxing; we ate all of our meals there. The boat (separate rental process) is a nice feature and one I would highly recommend. Our host Danny went out of his way to make our trip enjoyable.

The home was beautiful and spacious, and it was the perfect weekend getaway retreat! The huge covered back porch was great for leisurely mornings eating breakfast and taking a break from the sun over lunch. We loved being able to walk right down to the dock for immediate lake access and had lots of fun floating in the water around it. The house itself had a great setup with a nice central kitchen. We couldn't have picked a better place and would be happy to come back here any time! Thank you for having us!

This was an amazing property on the lake. We did lots of swimming, boating and just hanging out on the large covered porch overlooking the lake. Plenty of space inside and outside. I would recommend this place to anyone.

Very nice spot on the lake. We did have water pressure issues 2 days. Each time I reached out the owner had someone there to take care of the issue. Another day had an issue with the AC and once again the owner got it resolved ASAP. Overall I would give it a 4. I know things can happen that's why the 4 rating. I would stay again.
