We really enjoyed our family vacation in this very unique house. Lots of room, fully equipped kitchen and beautiful lake views.

We truly enjoyed this house! It’s huge and so uniquely built! Whoever did the landscaping here knew what they were doing. Its similar to being at a resort. We had so much fun fishing off the dock! We caught fish even in the middle of the hot day. We caught catfish, bass and sunfish. The kids enjoyed running around the property looking for lizards and tadpoles. The owner was really nice. We accidentally left meds there and they shipped to us. Cool place! Would for sure go again.

We loved the house. It is located in a nice part of the lake, away from the crowds. Views were amazing. The house had everything we needed. Best of all, Denise and Peter were great and easy to do business with.

We stayed for a week in July 2021. Beautiful home in perfect location. Great for all ages. Owner is great to work with and immediately responds to any questions. Home has everything you need for a wonderful stay. We have stayed at other vacation properties on Lake Norman - this one is by far the best. If you are searching for the perfect location for a family getaway to the Lake, look no further. We can’t wait to go back!

We agree with all the positive reviews below! The house is nestled under big trees and located in a quiet neighborhood. No thru traffic. Property and house are actually better than the pictures in person!! The house has a ‘70’s vibe meets Frank Lloyd Wright. At night the property is beautifully lit. We had 6 out of 7 nights of great sunsets right from the dock. We are a family of 4. Our young adult children had friends comes stay with us. The house worked well if we all wanted to be together and also if we broke off into groups allowing everyone to have their own spaces!! The stove, oven, and grill were all easy appliances to use and in great condition. The kitchen is stocked with everything you will need. Breakfast and lunch on the large deck with the shade of the trees was one of everyone’s favorite spots. We would totally recommend using Jed from What’s Up Watersports for boats, SUP and kayaks. They are located just across the lake and easy to get too. Also, if you are looking for a private fishing guide, we used Justin from Fishers of Men. He picked us up and dropped us off right at our dock. Denise was easy to work with and very responsive. You won’t be disappointed if you rent this home! Thanks Denise for opening up your home and allowing us create wonderful memories!!

This is a prime property, inside and outside. Spacious and well -appointed. The bedrooms are gigantic as are the baths. Each bedroom has its own full bath. One of the master baths even has a bidet and a sauna! House is well-stocked with all of the basics and there were even a few extras in the kitchen. There is a huge amount of lounging and recreation space, for rainy days or those few times you don't want to be outside enjoying the deck or the lake.Gorgeous outside, with massive shaded deck and beautiful views. The deck is gigantic and has plenty of room for everybody to hang out and dine together. The house fronts on water that is relatively quiet and very easy to kayak the shorelines, even when boat traffic is busy on weekends. During the weekdays we had the lake to ourselves. Launching our kayaks was a bit of a challenge at first. The property's shoreline, like much of the entire lake, is a bit difficult to access because it is steep and rock-covered. Nevertheless, once we figured it out, we were able to launch and remove our kayaks by lining them up onto the water side deck. Very simple for two people, and not all that hard solo. Our family has rented many VRBO properties and this is one of the best.

The house was perfect for four couples and our new grandson.Right on the lake with plenty of views.We had a great time with our family. Good family location.

We've rented many VRBOs over the years, and this one stands out as a favorite. There are so many unique touches that made it special, so I'll call out a few of our favorites:--LOTS OF SPACE. From the large bedrooms and two separate living areas upstairs to the game room downstairs, there was plenty of room for our group to spread out.--EXCELLENT LANDSCAPING AND DECK AREAS. The deck off the side of the house is huge, plus we were constantly discovering pathways and sitting areas all around the property. It's like being at your own mini resort.--ICE MAKER. It's the luxury we never knew we needed...but now I don't now how we'll ever vacation without one. It was so easy to fill our coolers (which we kept out on the deck filled with drinks). --PLENTY OF FOOD STORAGE CABINETS. This has been a problem at other houses we've rented, but this house had a whole row of empty cabinets that were easy to access.--LARGE DRIVEWAY. Not only did we have plenty of space to park, our kids had a nice, flat, paved area to ride scooters and skateboards. If you have kids who get restless inside and you have to boot them outside for some exercise, you know how important this is.--PERFECT LAKE ACCESS. We loved the deep water right off the dock, plus the house was located in a great spot that made it easy to kayak or paddleboard over to some nearby coves. And while this seems like a minor thing, we loved the ladder off the dock. We've rented houses before where the ladder/stairs were run-down, slippery or just not well maintained, but this one was easy to use. I should also mention that the house was clean and stocked with everything we needed. But the best part of this house is that it strikes a good balance of being both comfortable and unique. It's one we'll remember for sure.
