Beautiful place everything we could have asked for. Chris has been wonderful and very helpful from day one. When we arrived at the house everyone was very welcoming even the dogs and cats. We had Kikki cook for us one night and it was amazing. Alex was always available to help with anything around the house that we my have needed. We will definitely be back.

This property is perfect in every way! Location and views are extraordinary. Kitchen has everything needed to cook full meals (ninja blender, rotisserie oven, air fryer and more) and bed is super comfortable. My husband and I have stayed at numerous vacation rentals throughout the Caribbean and this one is at the top of our list. Icing on the cake are the sweet resident animals, the pool and hot tub. Highly recommend a massage from Nickie the house manager. If you dive, I recommend Turquoise Divers, just a 10 minute drive down the road. Also, make arrangements to visit with the folks at Roatan Rescue just down the road to volunteer or donate to this great and very necessary animal rescue organization. Communication with owner and on-site team is top notch. Looking forward to our fourth visit to this property in a few months!

Just returned from a 5-night family vacation at Casa Caribe. It was so relaxing. The home is on the quiet East side of Roatan. The house is exactly as pictured and the views are AMAZING. We loved the pool and incredible sunsets. The kayaks were so nice to have and we used them daily for fishing and snorkeling. We had so much fun with the animals on the property…..Vegas and Diesel the dogs and Tita and Tom the cats. Nikki and Alex took great care of us. If you stay, you definitely need to have Nikki cook at least one meal for you. She cooked shrimp and chicken skewers with rice and beans and homemade salsa for us as well as tortillas from scratch and key lime pie. She also gives fantastic massages!! The area is definitely remote, but it was nice not to be in the middle of all the cruise traffic. It was so peaceful and grounds are beautiful. If you plan on eating out, make sure to check restaurant hours and call to make sure they are still open. If you have never been to Roatan, be aware that the roads heading East are not the best and the road that leads to the house is not paved. It is a great idea to download a Roatan offline map from Google before you get there to help you navigate from the airport since cell service can be spotty. We would 100% stay there again!! This was our first experience with a VRBO and it did not disappoint. We were greeted by Nickie and Alex, introduced to a freshly groomed Diesel and Vegas (the dogs, both of whom were very sweet and greeted us each morning). After helping us bring our luggage and groceries upstairs, Alex made us drinks with the fresh coconut water while Nickie showed us around the home. Personal touches around the home made it feel like we were staying in a friend's tropical beach house. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook for ourselves for the week and Alex was happy to show us the way to the grocery store so we could restock. Alex was a fantastic caretaker and made sure we had everything we needed. He showed us some fishing spots, places to go look for shells, and would share with us things about the island. Be sure you check the welcome packets! Chris makes many suggestions within and we were not disappointed with any of the options that we chose – from our day with Captain Buck Beasley to the magnificent meal at Muna Luna at the end of the week. This end of the island was a wonderful way to get a glimpse into the culture that thrives on Roatan without leaving you too far away from the bustle of West End. Can’t wait to return!

Second time we’ve stayed here. Property is beautiful and feels like you are the only people on the island. Can’t recommend having Nikki cook dinner for your group highly enough. Dinner was amazing and she made some lunch baleadas(sp?) we warmed up all week and ate with her homemade salsa.

Chris’s place is nothing but fantastic! This is now our second time there and will not be our last. The location is absolutely perfect, so quiet and beautiful. The house is like a dream. The wrap around decks, the amazing property, the pool, the view, the kitchen and every other part of it is perfect. It is located close to a local town called Punta Gorda which is 100% worth going to. Amazing food and great entertainment. Chris has a couple caretakers for the house that make you feel as though you are royalty. They are so kind and do a great job taking care of us and the house. Chris is fantastic and has become a friend of ours since our stays at his home. You truly cannot ask for a better host. Everything you need is taken care of, he is always available to help with anything and is just a ray of sunshine. We feel so lucky to have found this places years back and can’t wait for our next visit!

We had a wonderful time at Casa Caribe. Chris was fantastic to work with and very accommodating to last minute issues on our side. The property is absolutely beautiful and had every accommodation desired.

Chris’s home is spectacular to stay in! Beds were comfortable had a ton of extra amenities! Having Nickie and William around to help with any needs was like having our own staff at our beck and call! Made us feel very pampered! The views are AMAZING from every direction! Chris is very attentive and recommends several things to do! Looking forward to coming back some day!!

Our trip was wonderful. The house was beautiful as pictured and the staff was very good and observant. It’s definitely on the quiet side of the island but but too far from a local grocery store which carried a lot of American brands. The island people were very nice and the restaurants we tried were good.

Easy. Chris is awesome, as is his staff, especially Bill. He was great with our 2 boys.

What an amazing property. This is a perfect spot for when you want your vacation to be your perfect vacation. The on-site staff is there to help you in anyway. Loved that they helped with luggage, cleaning diving gear and laundry. We even had Nickie cook dinner and give us massages. Highly recommend you do the same. This vacation gave me nights with lightning bugs, stars and sinking into a hot tub with a glass of wine which meant the world to me. When day time beaches or relaxing by a pool is just what you need. When you want the whole family to be with you and still have enough space to enjoy an amazing ocean breeze and time for yourself, And then there's that time when you want someone else to just take care of you, and cook, clean, chauffeur...just take care of the details so you can finally just relax. Book it and enjoy the kyaks, the reef, fresh mangos, coconuts and a concierge level of service. I already want to go back.

Our family vacation at Casa Caribe was absolutely more than we could have asked for! The house is so very spacious and homey with all the amenities needed. The extensive grounds are spectacular for a stroll among all the beauty and wonder Chris incorporated onto the property, from the lush grounds to the beautiful decks with lounge chairs and tables to the pool and hot tub and the stairs down to the beach. Chris was a most amazing host. We had the privilege of meeting him and spending a bit of time with him. Chris is a very engaging and attentive host. He was always available for any reason and with his suggestions on places to eat and visit, made our vacation there so very memorable! Nickie had the home spotless for us and was also available to attend to whatever we may have needed. She gives such relaxing massages and made us an excellent meal during our stay. She is so very warm and endearing and will help make your stay great! William was also available for anything that needed to be done as he lives in a separate home on the property. William always seen to it that we had fresh bananas, mangos and coconut water. He is taking English classes and as we don’t speak fluent Spanish, we had no trouble communicating with William using “Translate” on our phones. He was fantastic and another very friendly, caring and warm person! I can’t leave out the pets, whom are all very loving. They are all so very well behaved and were enjoyable to have around. Fantastic Vacation!

Can’t say enough great things about staying at Case Caribe. The property is like staying in your own private botanical garden. The views from the wrap around house balconies are stunning. The house is spacious and has everything you could possibly want. The property staff are quick to appear and help if you ever need them for anything. That includes a walk into town to show you where the store is, or going with you to Punta Gorda to the Garifuna weekly festival. This side of the island is such a relaxing place to stay, as apposed to the busy and touristy west end. Cant wait to return to Casa Caribe ,

Chris and his team made our Christmas holiday a wonderful experience. They went out of their way to decorate for the kids. The house was as described, views are spectacular, plenty of covered outdoor space if it’s raining to still enjoy the outdoors or enjoy some shade. We slept 8 comfortably, 4 adults, 4 teens. The on-site caretaker was brand new on the job (Dec 2022) & didn’t speak English but will learn as time goes on. The house was fairly clean but could definitely use a deep cleaning. The ladies booked Niki for massages and she was wonderful. We also had her make a traditional dinner one night and enjoyed every moment.

The house and grounds are perfect. The views are amazing, the location ideal and the on-site folks are top notch. Kitchen is best equipped km that we have experienced in a rental, bed is very comfortable and shower is nice and hot....I mention these because they are very important to us in our travels. We feel very safe here, with Banuel, the on site manager just down the hill from the main house. I highly, highly reccomend a massage from Nickie(the housekeeper) out on the deck. She is excellent! House is close to great little village of Politilly Bight and just down the Road from Roatan Rescue. I reccomend a visit there to check our their amazing operation. We dove with Subway, just down the road. This is our 3rd time with them and each time has been great. Small groups, great boats and top notch divemasters. We checked all the boxes.. sea horses, turtles, dolphins, anemones, nudibranch, etc. But, even though everything else was great, my favorite are Chris' sweet pups and kitties. They are the best. This is our second visit here and it felt like coming home, when we pulled up and were greeted by these sweet babies. We look forward to returning as soon as possible!

The views here are EPIC, no pictures or words do it justice. All you hear are the waves breaking on the sandbar. Chris, the owner, and Banuel, the property manager, are welcoming and are very attentive to whatever we may want/need. Chris truly means 'concierge' in the description ... Help with grocery shopping, taking us snorkeling, taking us fishing, unpacking the groceries from the car, bringing our luggage to and from our rooms, etc. We will be returning again, but not soon enough.

Great property that checked all of the boxes for us...well equipped kitchen, great views, comfortable bed, outdoor jacuzzi, pool, ocean access and close to a great dive shop. A bonus was the great caretaker, tour guide, conciere, etc., Mr. Banuel; an evening outdoor massage given by Nickie who also takes care of housekeeping and is available to prepare meals; and the awesome, sweet animals who live on the property. Great Everything! Looking forward to returning very soon!

Place is outstanding and can't wait to come back

We loved our stay here. The whole teams really pulls out all the stops to make your stay special and memorable. Over 9 days, we were able to relax, unwind and enjoy the island’s offerings. We loved the quiet and privacy of the East side of the island. You can’t go wrong with this locale, Chris and his awesome team! For us, the highlights included the breezy balcony, hammocks and view, the beautiful pool and the tailored tour for kayaking and snorkeling. Absolutely recommend!

Wow!! Chris was amazing with everything from when we started the process of reserving his property to when we departed. He was so helpful with any question we had along the way. Banuel and Herman were so very helpful with what we wanted. And adjusted as we needed...so great! We just wanted to get some R&R on the property....and he delivered. The property is beautiful to explore.... The cats and dogs on the property were welcome for us.... This is a wonderful property if you want a relaxing pool, hot tub, a wonderful kitchen (the best we have seen in all the VRBO'S we have stayed at) and Banuel... helping with whatever you need...even to cooking for us on the last night to top off our vacation and a great dinner with Banuel joining us and sharing stories with his roots in Roatan We would highly recommend staying here if you want a stress free vacation as Chris can help you with what ever kind of getaway you need and is so very helpful

This was our second time staying in this beautiful home in a stunning location. Our every need was met by Chris and his staff, even when we didn't know we needed anything (fresh coconuts, anyone?). :) Chris gave us great recommendations for food and entertainment, and Bauel was an excellent caretaker and took the very best care of all of us. The kayaks were ready when we needed them, fresh tortillas and other wonderful local cuisine showed up after we asked (and even when we didn't). It was overall a magical experience. Thank you again to Chris and your staff (including the dogs), we loved it and will return!

It's hard to put into words how beautiful this place is. The ocean views, the landscaping, the evening sunsets... all make it so you will never want to leave. But on top of all of that are Chris and his crew. We had all the privacy we desired, but they were never far away when we needed them. We could not have asked for better people to assist us during our stay. We may have arrived as strangers, but left having new friends in Roatan!

My wife, adult son and daughter and her boyfriend all met down in Casa Caribe for the week. The owner, Chris, made the entire process easy and enjoyable. We all came down to scuba dive. The help on-site, Banuel and Herman, were always available when we needed something. In addition to the diving, they have kayaks available where you can paddle out to a shallow reef for snorkeling. We also hired Dayana for a few nights to cook dinner with local cuisine. It was wonderful. The dive shop we used, Subway Watersports, was only about 15 minutes away. It was excellent. It was a relaxing casual week and I am sure we will be back! Wayne

I don't know where to start... This is a really special place. A perfect house on beautiful property. Separated from the busy west side of the island but close enough to groceries and restaurants. Chris (owner), Banuel (caretaker), and Dayana (cleans/cooks) see to your every need. Met us at the airport, rented an SUV from Chris (totally worth it), fresh flowers at check in, coconuts from the property every morning, dive and snorkel gear rinsed and hung every day. Banuel took us kayaking through the nearby mangroves and snorkeling on a fantastic reef. He also took us in the small boat another day farther away for more snorkeling, got fresh Mahi from a friend that Dayana cooked for us one night for a delicious meal. Banuel took us to nearby Punta Gorda for the Sunday night cultural event, a crazy village party of dancing and food! They do everything to make sure you have a relaxing, stress free vacation. Any hiccups (because it's an island and things happen!) were dealt with quickly and gracefully. Between Chris and Banuel, they seem to know everyone on the island and can point you to the best eating, shopping, diving, beaches, etc. The kitchen is well stocked for cooking in. Pool, hot tub, beach were perfect. Gardens of the property are amazing. Bedrooms are large and comfortable. Advice on Roatan in general... restaurants and shops (especially on the more rural east end) may or may not accept credit cards (internet access is sometimes spotty at resorts/restaurants and therefore can't process credit cards; never had an issue at the house). Make sure your bank card is ready to withdraw local currency from the ATMs. US dollars are accepted everywhere but the bills have to be PERFECT. No writing, absolutely no nicks or tears (no matter how small). This is challenging on a beach vacation on a rain forest island! This is the best VRBO property we have ever stayed in. Thank you to Chris, Banuel and Dayana for an amazing week and we look forward to returning!

My wife, 3 toddler boys, and I stayed at Casa Caribe for a week. The view is EPIC! The house is airy and the pics don't do it justice. The porch wraps around the entire house on two floors. There are multiple doors to the outdoors. The pool and hot tub were awesome and were enhanced by the 270+ degree ocean view. Sitting in quiet, all you can hear are distant birds and ocean waves breaking. Chris and Banuel were amazingly helpful. Banuel took us grocery shopping and continuously checked in on us. He was great with our boys! He and Hormon took us kayaking, snorkeling, and fishing. We took a boat ride to see giant starfish and play a white sandy beach. We have already booked our next stay with Chris, et al for later this year.

Our stay at Casa Caribe was so great! It started with a warm greeting at the airport by Chris and his caretaker. They were so helpful. Renting a car from him saved time and was so convenient. If you want to have it all - view, privacy, pool and ocean, this is your place. It was great having a caretaker to well, take care of us! :) Chris was great at making recommendations about places to go and things to try. We absolutely loved our stay and look forward to going back!

Excellent property and staff. First time we stayed this Far East on the island had a great time plenty of places to eat scuba and snorkel. Kids loved playing with all the dogs and cats

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Casa Caribe. We spent a week snorkeling, scuba diving, relaxing, and eating wonderful food. The property is in a stunning location and we sat out enjoying the sunrise and sunset most days. Chris, the owner, was extremely communicative and helpful. His staff were attentive and accommodating to all of our needs - from cooking to cleaning to showing us parts of the island we wouldn't have been able to find on our own. If you are looking for a restful spot right on the ocean away from all the touristy parts of Roatan - look no further. My favorite part of this property was access to kayaks (both singles and doubles!) as well as a small boat so we could head out to snorkel right in the bay whenever our hearts desired. The snorkeling here is second to none! Thank you Casa Caribe for an amazing stay!

This place is so gorgeous and a one-of-a-kind experience. Chris was one of the most helpful hosts I have ever experienced. First, he was quick, efficient, and detailed in his communication. He supported us really well even before we left with a welcome packet and all our questions. We knew exactly what to expect when getting there plus all that changes with covid. Second, once we were there we were greeted with a friendly smile and a cold coconut with milk in it. We were helped with our bags and given a tour. The place is more stunning than the pictures. The property has everything you need plus is super comfortable and homey. Each room has a theme that makes it feel like the beautiful vacation destination it is. Next, Roatan is one of the most beautiful and underrated islands in my opinion. Chris helped us understand all the best things to do on the island. We left our stay feeling like we got the local traditional island vibe, did the fun excursions, and went to the best places with the most delicious food. He helped us get the most out of our stay. There was not one regret. We felt like locals. He also has snorkeling gear and kayaks on the property which was awesome. Lastly, Chris is a stand-up guy. You will love staying at the place and feel comfortable. He does everything possible to make your stay exactly what you want and more! Can't wait to come back!

This property is absolutely beautiful and couldn't have asked for a better host. The views are so amazing we ended up staying and hanging out in the room a lot more than we planned to! Chris is fantastic and knows everything there is to know about Roatan and was always there when we needed him. We got engaged here and couldn't have asked for a better setup!
