Our stay was excellent and as advertised. Hilda was a great host/administrator. The communication in advance was excellent. The transportation to/from the airport was on time and efficient. The golf cart rental was perfect. The location of the home is central to the Beach, Hotel, Golf and Altos. Internet was strong and worked well. The staff was great. Ivan and his team were very welcoming and breakfast every morning was fantastic. The pool and hot tub were perfect for family of four and could handle even more. Overall, a great spot for a family vacation. We would love to come back.

We had heard of the Casa de Campo community and Hilda's property checked all of the boxes for us. The house was so airy and comfortable. Hilda was amazing at helping us line up golf carts for our stay, dinner reservations, and grocery delivery. We stayed in the villa with 4 children under the age of 12 and everyone truly enjoyed the property and the amenities that Case de Campo has to offer. Ivan and Selina who take care of the property and cook were just so welcoming and friendly. We would love to stay here again!

My wife and I spent 5 weeks at Hilda's villa in Casa de Campo in Jan/Feb 2023. During our stay, we had a total of 15 family members join us at various times over our 5 week stay. The Villa is spacious and provides a lovely combination of indoor and outdoor living spaces. The pool and hot tub are nicely integrated into the outdoor living flow. Hilda was incredibly helpful in the planning of our trip and once we arrived her on site staff of Ivan and Sileni were an absolute delight who catered to our every need. It was a great trip and the weather was perfect. The resort golf, restaurants, beach, and other amenities are excellent. If you are looking for a winter get away (we were) and want to bring lots of folks along to keep you company.......you should give Casa de Campo and Hilda a call. I think you'll be glad you did.

Property and staff were great. Selini did a excellent job cooking. We cancelled a dinner reservation to stay in and enjoy the grilled steaks she made one night. Hilda was super easy to communicate with - and very organized. Would stay again for sure.

Our family had a wonderful vacation at this beautiful villa! Hilda helped every step of the way to help arrange transportation and patiently answered all our questions. Ivan and Sileni were amazing! We had wonderful meals and they both went out of their way to be helpful and gracious! Very relaxing vacation in paradise!

Our stay at Hilda's Villa was perfect. Hilda, the owner was very attentive & communicative and made the whole process of renting very easy. Seleni and Ivan are incredible and made our stay very special. Seleni is a wonderful cook and she made some special Dominican dishes that we requested for the New Year holiday. Ivan is so sweet and pleasant. He brought me coffee every morning before breakfast (ahhhh, I miss that now). The layout of the house is perfect for families. It is very clean and lovingly decorated. We dined outside by the pool for breakfast and in the beautiful living/dining area for dinner. We loved our meals at home much more than our meals out. On New Year's Eve, we sat in the hot tub and watched the fire works. All in all our stay at HIlda's villa was a very special vacation and we look forward to returning one day.

We had a phenomenal time at Casa de Campo and loved staying at Toronjas 1. The house was centrally located and sits right on a beautiful hole of the La Romana Country Club Golf Course. Hilda, the property owner, was so thorough in all her communications and in helping us set everything up in order to have a wonderful vacation. In addition, the staff at the house were fantastic, helpful and cooked some incredible meals. I highly recommend staying this property and we plan to return in the future.

We shared this beautiful house with 2 other couples on this our Wedding Anniversary Weekend. It was all wonderful! The property owner was very helpful and the staff could not have been more accommodating. Everyone made us feel very welcomed

Toronjas 1 was perfect for our family of 4 (2 adults and 2 teenagers). The neighborhood is quiet and within a short golf cart ride to everything . It is right on the golf course and ~ 1 mile from the beach and hotel and a few miles to the marina and Altos de Chavon. The villa is spacious and clean. The gardens are beautiful. Ivan kept the pool and hot tub clean and heated throughout our stay. Sileni’s cooking is amazing. Communication with Hilda was very easy. Everything was taken care of for us, including airport transfers and golf cart rental. We would not change a thing. Thank you for a perfect week.

This was probably one of the best vacations we have had as a family ! Casa de campo is a beautiful place and this villa was the perfect choice . It is absolutely breathtaking in person . The layout is beautiful , airy , open , with the right amount of bedrooms , the perfect pool and with a gorgeous view of the golf course . The owner of the house was amazing from beginning to end . She made the whole process feel so easy . I cannot say enough good things about her staff . They made us feel so welcome and treated us so well throughout our whole stay. They cooked us delicious breakfast and lunch, I’m still thinking about all the great food they made and how beautifully they set the table every day. They paid so much attention to detail and in everything they do . I will miss our morning coffee by the pool and the amazing flan ! We are going to miss them so much ! Thank you Hilda for your hospitality. You are an amazing host ! I am already thinking about going back!

Overall a fantastic experience at this house. The house itself is very comfortably decorated- it was a perfect spot for not only family and friends but also for our infant son. The property is very well maintained- inside and outside around the property including the pool. The owner was extremely responsive which made a big difference, not only leading up to the stay (especially since we had never been to Casa de Campo) but also during the stay if we had a question. A quick golf cart ride to the resort - a straight shot- made it very easy to get to where we spent most of our time. The staff were also very helpful - they took care of basically everything for us while there. We will definitely look to stay here again.

Our family of four with two teenagers loved this home. The design of the space is welcoming and very peaceful and private with furnished courtyards, gardens and the pool in the center and all of the rooms surrounding them in a "U" shape. We were only ever truly inside while sleeping or showering, and with the perfect weather we loved that. The fact that it faces the golf course makes the outdoor space feel even larger and very park-like and the course and gardens were meticulously maintained. The staff are very friendly, accommodating and unobtrusive, and it was a true luxury to just show up to enjoy breakfast and lunch every day and then leave the cleaning to them. We got a ride from the airport and then rented an electric golf cart and could get everywhere on the resort easily with it, a car is not necessary if you don't mind the open air of a golf cart. The house is in a good location within the resort in that the lovely beach, hotel and Altos de Chavon are all easy drives of between about 7-15 minutes. We came in June 2021 and the DR was under pandemic restrictions but they didn't interfere much with our plans, other than limiting the restaurants that were open at night. The resort feels very proactive in requiring masks and temperature checks at all entry points, and it was very easy to take the PCR test currently required before re-entry into the US (even if you are vaccinated). They do it on-site in a room near the hotel and you do have to pay$110/person and reserve it ahead of time through the resort website. Finally, as mentioned in other reviews, working with Hilda, the homeowner, was completely wonderful. She was wholly responsive over email both before and during the stay, and put in a lot of extra effort helping us navigate the changing pandemic restrictions while we were there. We were lucky to experience her gorgeous home and would absolutely recommend it!

We cannot speak highly enough about our stay at Toronjas #1 in Casa de Campo! The house has so much character with a beautiful indoor/outdoor tropical courtyard right on the golf course. The sunsets are incredible and the house is so tastefully decorated it feels like a home and not a rental at all! The staff, Seleni and Ivan, were so sweet and made the most delicious meals using local fresh ingredients, and attentively learning our likes and dislikes and adapting the meals accordingly. The owner, Hilda, was so responsive to our needs and was a pleasure to deal with. We highly recommend staying at this wonderful house for a most relaxing and peaceful stay within the spectacular Casa de Campo resort.

The property was very nice and the staff was great. The property manager/owner Hilda was very attentive and made many accommodations for us. She made all of our dinner reservations. She also was available for any issues. Ivan the butler was extremely attentive and helpful. The place is kept very clean with daily cleaning. We felt very safe during covid. The hot tub was excellent and the property felt extremely private being off the 10th hole of La Romana Country Club, yet the hole was closed for renovations. The location was very central and close to the Marina and the hotel and Altos de Chavon. Hilda the property manager provided all the necessary info for a successful stay. The only recommendations would be larger more comfortable beds and mattresses, but the owner did get us mattress topers at our request which was helpful. Also the pool was quite cold but this is the winter in December and we used it to cool off and we used the hot tub. The cook was good but I would recommend a separate chef for fancier dinners. The pool steps and deck were slippery so be careful. Overall a great property in Casa De Campo!

Let’s start with Casa de Campo which is one of the premier resorts in the world. Golf, tennis, riding - an activity paradise. But also fun to just relax on the beach if you prefer. Gorgeous beach with both a casual and upscale lunch alternatives.Hilda’s house is the reason VRBO is successful- you can stay in a magnificent four bedroom four bathroom home with a staff for a week that you never would be able to otherwise! The indoor/outdoor home is gorgeous - during the day all the doors are open and the outdoors flows indoors! Many wonderful spots for the whole family to hang out. We had breakfast outdoors every morning on the patio and dinner indoor looking out on the golf course. Then there was the area where we played cards every night as a family (something we never do at home!) The pool and hot tub were perfect and while there was really no reason to leave the house, there is a golf cart to take you around anywhere you need to travel in the resort.! And the review would not be complete without mentioning the amazing staff - Ivan stays on property and was able to help with anything around the house. Celia the cook was amazing. We would shop and work with her on our preferences for meals. Every single meal was spectacular.. please request flan!! Finally, Hilda was very easy to reach and help with arrival and departure and any other questions! This property is a real treat - our favorite house in Casa de Campo and we will be returning!

Our young family had a fantastic stay at Toronjas 1 and will most certainly be visiting again. We particularly enjoyed the pool at the villa, beach at Campo de Casa as well as exploring the Old Town. Lastly, Hilda was a great communicator who attended to our every need.
