We loved our week-long stay here! The property is set well back from the road so it's very peaceful and serene with beautiful outdoor space to lounge or play cornhole. It's a short drive to the town of Lenox and many great hiking trails. The house itself is thoughtfully decorated; comfortable and inviting, with a great kitchen for cooking and hanging out. Jonathan and Lauren were generous hosts, even allowing us to make use of their garage/gym and placing homey touches throughout the house. And a word of praise for their groundskeeper who lives above the garage and is a talented landscape architect- the flowers everywhere were beautiful and helped make our visit special. Thank you for sharing your home with us!

We enjoyed a beautiful spring week at this fabulous house. Jonathan and Lauren were responsive hosts and everything was as pictured. Clean, thoroughly stocked, meticulously decorated- picture perfect. 5 of us were very comfortable with plenty of room to spread out. Great location to downtown Lenox and springboard to rest of Berkshires. We plan to return next year!

Beautiful, immaculate house

This is a delightful home in all respects! The grounds are beautiful and meticulously maintained. The porches and firepit are wonderful spaces - just magical nestled in the woods and hillside. The home is spacious and gorgeously decorated. All of the bedroom and bathrooms are spacious and thoughtfully designed. The kitchen and dining area are wonderfully appointed - the abundance of chef’s tools and dishes for entertaining make it clear that Jonathan and Lauren are consummate hosts and this shows in every aspect of their home. 5 stars!

We had a great stay in Lenox this past week. The home was charming, spacious, and well-equipped and the grounds were lush and beautiful. I was particularly fond of the peach and apple trees! The host was very attentive and helpful!

As first time users of any home rental app, we were cautiously optimistic of what we would encounter. This exquisite home exceeded all our expectations. Light and airy, the photos don't do it justice. It is beautifully furnished--casually elegant and cozy. In particular, the kitchen is well appointed and spacious . As a welcome gift, our hosts left a sweet arrangement of wildflowers, prosecco, San Pelegrino, fruit and cookies. Such a welcoming touch. The common areas are comfortable--from the living room to the breezy screen porch. The bedrooms are furnished with comfortable mattresses, pillows and linens--3 out of 4 with flat screen TV's. And the bathrooms are spacious and lovely. When our 2 year old granddaughter was introduced to her delightful room, she uttered: "Oh my goodness!". There is a lovely view from every window. We cannot stress how clean, lovingly, and well-maintained the property is. The outdoor sitting area is equipped with nice wicker-style couches and chairs surrounded by a natural pergola covered in wisteria. The landscaping is casual and elegant, just like the interior--and beautifully kept. We cannot say enough about the owners who were gracious, helpful and always available to either answer questions or stop by if anything was needed. They live nearby which is great plus. The location is truly ideal: set in Lenox, it's a stone's throw from Tanglewood, historic sites, hikes and grocery stores, but it is set back from the road at the end of a long driveway surrounded by nature. Quiet and peaceful. The perfect getaway! We can't wait to return next summer! Thank you so much, Jonathan and Lauren.

My husband and I stayed at this beautiful home for three weeks. The house was incredible clean and well appointed in a beautiful setting with wonderful landscaping . Jonathan Malk was responsible to our every need. This was truly the best VRBO experience we have had.

Our family spent a week at this gorgeous country house sledding, hiking, and spending time together by the fire on cold afternoons. It was a much needed escape. The house was exceptionally clean, well-cared for and welcoming.

Overall, this was a beautiful house with large windows that was surrounded by trees with pretty foliage in October. The house was VERY clean and well-maintained, My extended family (including elderly parents and an infant) had a fantastic time. For clean, responsible renters, I would definitely recommend this place. A few things to note for future renters: 1) It appears that Jonathan and Lauren actually live in the house (though they do an incredible job of removing personal items for renters). To us, this didn't end up being a big deal, but it did mean less room in the coat closet, etc. For us, it actually ended up being useful that Jonathan was so close, since he helped my sister arrange a mechanic when her car wouldn't start at check-out! 2) There were strict rules about not having food & drinks outside the kitchen, and there were white sofas, rugs, etc. When the weather is nice, I imagine this isn't a big deal, since you will spend a lot of time on the patio, but it did mean for us that we didn't have drinks and snacks when we sat by the fireplace on a cold, rainy afternoon. It also made it a little stressful to have my sister bring her dogs on the trip, even though technically the rental says 'pets allowed'. Overall, these things were minor relative to the spaciousness/comfort of the house!

We loved staying at Jonathan and Lauren’s Berkshire house. It was just as lovely as depicted in the pictures. The outdoor space/grounds were spectacular. Jonathan was especially helpful with anything we needed during our stay. I would definitely come again!

My family and I had the most wonderful stay in this house. We loved the quiet setting, which was private yet so close to town. We loved all the comforts inside the house, the well stocked kitchen, and the screened in porch. Jonathan and Lauren went out of their way to make us feel comfortable, and we did. We will definitely be back!

The house was very comfortable and amazingly well stocked with everything we needed. Enough places to sit and relax so that we all were able to find privacy when we wanted. And the garden was lovely!

Perfect family getaway for the holidays. Jonathan and Lauren made the check in process and our entire stay for our extended family (all 4 BRs used) an incredible time. Lots of board games by the fire, cooking and sharing meals in the gourmet stocked kitchen, beautiful secluded spot with a view of the snow capped forest, fantastic location to head into the town of Lenox, their cheat sheet of restaurants and activities in the area. They made sure the driveway was de iced and shoveled. Thank you again jonathan and lauren!!

Sometimes you CAN have it all. We visited Lenox to attend events at Tanglewood, and this property could not have been in a better location. But the house offered so much more than just location. It sits at the end of a long driveway which makes you feel that you have complete privacy. With two porches and a beautiful fire pit area, you have ample room to enjoy the weather and views - rain or shine. But you must also take time to enjoy the many cozy sitting areas inside the house. We made it a goal to spend time in every room and cooked several times in the stunning gourmet kitchen. Comfy beds, gorgeous bathrooms - there was nothing about this home not to love. If you're looking for a place in the Lenox area, there is no need to look further. Truly the best of everything.

The house was great, the grounds are beautiful, it is a great setting, very quiet and close to Lenox, the gym and other essentials you may need. I would definitely recommend it if you want to visit the Lenox area. Perfect if you are going to a concert at Tanglewood!

This home was perfect for our girls weekend. Plenty of room for the seven of us. Beds were super comfy and the kitchen was especially gorgeous. We were fortunate that the weather was pleasant so we were able to enjoy the beautiful outdoor areas as well. Jonathan was a great host. Hope to return someday!

We reserved this property, as we needed room to comfortably stay with my two children, parents and sister, and in-laws. The property was very well maintained, and had plenty of space for all - both inside and out. The kitchen was a great place for everyone to gather for breakfasts and dinners, and the home was plenty large enough for people not to feel like they were living on top of one another. For example, the screened in porch or the back was a great place to escape for a coffee and paper in the morning, away from the buzz of breakfast. The home also had a well-edited list of places to visit for dining, and grocery shopping. We would definitely rent again the next time we visit.

We stayed in this spectacular home for the 4th of July weekend with our family of 6. The house was even more gorgeous than pictured! This home truly exemplifies the aesthetic of the Berkshires. It has a rustic chic farmhouse feel, with a sense of a bygone era paired with tranquility and natural beauty. The home has a gorgeous outdoor area, with an arbored sitting area near a firepit, a sitting area in the screened patio, and a sitting area on the front open porch. It was lovely to sit outside and enjoy the gorgeous gardens of the home, and listen to the birds chirping in the nearby woods. The kitchen was incredible, with every cooking item you could possibly need. Since we were arriving very late, we arranged for grocery delivery, which Jonathan was kind enough to receive for us. We enjoyed the Sonos speaker system throughout the home, and listened to James Taylor songs before we headed over to Tanglewood to watch him in person! Bedrooms were beautifully decorated and beds were very comfortable. The location is so close to Lenox, but also not far from Great Barrington, Pittsfield, Stockbridge, and many other places to visit. On several mornings, we went for a hike in Kennedy Park, which is just up the road. The park has tons of hiking trails in shaded quiet woods--so beautiful. We went up to Pittsfield and rented a pontoon boat on Pontoosuc Lake (went swimming in the lake since it was so warm!), went to Williamstown for a show, went to the fab farmer's market in Great Barrington and then ate Baba Louie's sourdough pizza and delicious SoCo ice cream, and also just enjoyed hanging in the house together as a family and playing games. The James Taylor concert at Tanglewood was amazing, and we bought delicious picnic food at Guido's in Pittsfield, which was only 10 min away. Basically, the perfect house in the perfect location for a perfect Berkshires getaway!! Jonathan was incredibly communicative and accommodating as a host. We couldn't have asked for more. Many thanks for a wonderful holiday!

We had four people staying here and it was BEYOND cold outside (5 degrees Farenheit). The house was warm and inviting and had a lovely fireplace and comfortable living room for us all to sit around the fireside. The kitchen was enormous and a joy to cook in... and the best part, everyone had their own bedroom. Connecting with Jonathan was a piece of cake and there are instructions which explain how everything in the house works as well the best restaurants in the area. It was also awesome that we could bring our dog with us!!!

Our family came to the Lenox area for a family reunion. Jonathan was a gracious host and he gave us good recommendations for where to eat and shop in the area. The house is large and has a wonderful kitchen where our family congregated. It was clean and well maintained. Jonathan responded promptly to any questions. The kitchen is well stocked. The setting is lovely. We enjoyed an evening by the fire pit. I would definitely recommend this to friends or relatives. We especially enjoyed Guido's market (one of Jonathan's recommendations.My husband also enjoyed cycling around the area.

Located near Lenox MA, this home is very nice, clean and well maintained. The location is quiet and the garden makes the outdoor areas -- porch and screen porch really pleasant. Easy access to Lenox and route 7 . There were 6 in our group including a three month old and we were all comfortable and happy.

This is a lovely, large home on very attractive, spacious property just a few minutes' drive from the center of Lenox. It is in pristine condition and exceeded our expectations. The bedrooms and bathrooms are nicer than any hotel. The large kitchen is a natural gathering place with a large island with bar stools, and the garden porch is cozy for getting away to read or nap. The outdoor patio has nice seating and an open brick fireplace for chilly evenings. We took advantage of all of these during our 4 night stay and would love to have stayed longer. The owner met us on arrival, was very welcoming, and gave us a thorough orientation. If we return for Tanglewood events in the summer, we will definitely stay here. Can only imagine how pretty it is during the fall foliage.
