The best part of Austin. We had such a nice stay. Walkable to Thundercloud (which was amazing to a group of former Austinites), the hike and bike trail, Juiceland, Deep Eddy… so close to so many things. House is clean, calm, peaceful. Comfortable for 8 adults and a toddler. Great shower, great backyard. Melissa is a great host.

Stayed with family and friends for UT graduation. The place is cool and located in an awesome neighborhood with lots to do. Host was great, very responsive. Definitely would stay here again!

We traveled to Austin for the solar eclipse. This house was perfect for our family of 6 adults and 2 children. It was the perfect location to the nearby parks and swimming pools. There were also several excellent restaurants within walking distance . The owner was very responsive to all of our questions. We would definitely return for another stay in the future.

The front stairs lacked a hand rail which several people needed. The first thing you saw was a ripped screen door. Not a good first impression.
The house was clean . The bathroom shower was a challenge . We kept the house neat but one day we had a cockroach in the kitchen. We enjoyed our stay in Austin but the house was not our favorite.

The house is comfortable for groups and nicely maintained (and the A/C works!). Melissa is also communicative and really helpful. We’d definitely book again!

The house was super cute with a good location, walking distance to coffee and a gas station and a super market. It was definitely centrally located enough for our trip. The issue however was there was a large amount of cockroaches in the house. The owner had let me know the day before that she had sprayed for bugs, but we did not anticipate to run into 10+ both alive and dead cockroaches. One night one of the guests was woken up by a roach flying into her face. Other than that the house was lovely.

The house was in a perfect location to walk to food, coffee, town lake and deep eddy pool! We enjoyed our stay!

Location was perfect for us, living room a comfy place to congregate. Rained pretty much all weekend so we didn’t get to use the backyard but it looked lovely.

We (party of 8 50+ adults) enjoyed our week-end away at the edge of Austin. The home was well appointed and charming. The owner was extremely responsive. The location was near the Pedestrian Walkway which we used to visit the bats on night one, visit the nearby arboretum, and get to a kayak rental place. We also walked -1.6 miles - to Barton Springs Bike Rentals and took a guided tour - highly recommended.

Bachelorette trip
We loved staying at this house. It had the Austin vibe and plenty of space for everyone. A 15 minute Uber got you everywhere (and that was in rush hour traffic). The house was very clean and spacious. Melissa was so fast to respond and was a great host. Would definitely recommend this VRBO.

Amazing location and host! Definitely would return
Melissa was extremely accommodating and was very responsive. The house was exactly like the pictures - it was cleaned and a perfect spot for a group of us to hang out for the weekend! The location was great - it was a short walk or uber to many bars/restaurants and we loved our time in Austin. All of the bedrooms were clean and comfy and bathrooms were nice and accommodate a big group. The host responded to questions timely and was great about answering her phone when we had questions when we arrived at the property. I would 100% come back and definitely recommend to a friend. 10/10 property and host

Great house and neighborhood
We loved our stay! The beds were comfortable and it was nice to have so much space in the common areas and back yard to gather. We loved the neighborhood and were able to walk to stores and restaurants. It was a short lyft ride from wherever else we wanted to go. The host was super responsive and had great recommendations. Great location & perfect set up
Thx Melissa for the hospitality this weekend. Great house to host a guys reunion weekend. Fantastic location made getting to downtown easy and having easy access to the nearby running trails was a nice surprise. Great spot.

Wonderful home but even better host!
This is a great house in a great location — I was so happy with how clean it was and how easy check-in was! Melissa is an *amazing* host - she texted to touch base before we checked in, was super attentive and just generally lovely to rent from. I would highly recommend this property— you will not be disappointed! :) 10/10!

Perfect downtown location
We absolutely loved our stay at this precious bungalow in downtown Austin. It's a perfect location for walking access to the hike and bike trail, multiple restaurants and entertainment and just a short ride to the heart of downtown for all ATX has to offer! The homeowner was gracious in communicating about our stay and has the house well outfitted for rental. One of the best things for a group is all the king beds in the house! Fantastic! Would definitely choose this property again!

Best house in West Austin!
Had an amazing time in Austin this past weekend at the Deep Eddy House. Plenty of space for our group and great location that was a short uber to downtown and still walking distance to some good lunch spots (went to Magnolia Cafe and Juiceland multiple times). Melissa was also very flexible and responsive during our stay. Would definitely stay at this house again and recommend it for a large group.

We loved the multiple king beds and spaciousness of the house. The outdoor space looked amazing (we didn't use it due to typical Texas summer sweltering heat).

Great Place!
Loved staying at Melissa’s property. Great space and very accommodating for our large group. Location was great- not too far for a quick ride downtown or to Rainey street. Melissa was easy to communicate with. Would stay here again!

Great house in a terrific location
The house is charming and in a great location. There are perhaps some considerations that people should know in case they affect your decision. The downstairs shower looks amazing, but is hard to regulate - some people had blazing showers and some had freezing showers, and usually a mix of the two. The upstairs shower worked well. The upstairs bathroom lights into a downstairs bedroom, which is an odd design and disconcerting at night if the upstairs light is turned on. With that, we still would have stayed in the house. It is quirky and interesting and in a great spot.

Great house, even better host
We were in Austin for ACL with a group of 8. The location of the house is unbeatable, it was an easy walk into and out of Zilker. The house was fastidiously clean, had plenty of good areas for our group to hang out (especially the long dining room table in the photos) and lots of authentic Austin charm. Our host, Melissa, had everything completely buttoned up and ready for us on our arrival, check in / check out was seamless. I've been lucky enough to travel to Austin a few times over the years and I think this was my favorite house that I've stayed at. If you're looking at it now, just go ahead and book it.

Cozy and a true Home Away!
Melissa's home is a great spot for family to gather. It feels real and so comfy. Great location for an easy Austin experience, and we had such a fun time having hair and make up done for my daughters wedding. Took away a lot of stress to be in the space. My 9 family members were really happy there.
Melissa is very attentive and was able to help with some extra details.
I would rent this house again in an Austin minute!!

Great location! Charming Home! Responsive Host! :)
We had a group of 10 stay here, and it was the absolute perfect place for us! It was close to town, the community pool was fun, and the house was well-kept and more spacious than we thought it would be! The owner, Melissa, was always responsive, gave great recommendations, and made sure our stay was the best it could be! Loved staying here and would definitely come back and recommend to friends!

Perfect location - Highly recommend!
This Deep Eddy Avenue Home was more than perfect for our Bachelorette weekend in Austin! Only a 5 minute uber/lyft ride to downtown as well as several other popular attractions, we could not have asked for a better location! Melissa went above and beyond to make our stay perfect and was always just a phone call away! I definitely recommend this home if you are planning a trip to Austin - it was perfect!

Would do it again!
We enjoyed our time in this Deep Eddy neighborhood and home. Clean and spacious for our group for ACL!! The walk is barely noticeable to Zilker Park. Enjoyed the home and renting houses always beats hotels in my book, you get to enjoy the people you went on the trip with. The open layout of this home allows spending time with each other to be easily accomplished. My kids enjoyed the loft space upstairs. Owner is responsive and no issues with the home.
