The house is a solid choice for a large group. It is a lovely neighborhood and convenient to places of interest. The owner was away due to a family emergency, so the house was not as clean as one might expect. Some minor maintenance issues need addressing. We assume that these concerns will be addressed. The house is lovely.

Everything was wonderful

This villa is gorgeous. The host was so gracious and accommodating and we arranged with her a delicious late night meal when we arrived. Beds all super comfortable. I would stay here again in a heartbeat.

We had a great stay at the house. The Caribbean is a lovely and laid back. The house was very clean and the pool perfect for the kids (and grandparents). The grounds are meticulously kept and Erinn was so welcoming and very helpful. We also saw lots of wildlife (sloths, lots of birds, agoutis), as it is right next to Manzanillo preserve and a short walk to the beach. Just a great time and very relaxing.

This was the ideal place to stay overnight after our late arrival at SJO.(about a 20 min drive) My adult daughter and her boyfriend arrived earlier in the day and ate at a wonderful restaurant that was within walking distance. Lily, the host, was extremely helpful with recommendations. Grocery nearby as well. The home is spacious and beautifully decorated. Our family of 8 adults were very comfortable for our overnight stay. The home is gated which provided an extra level of security. Lily, the host, was very welcoming and prepared us a delicious breakfast the next morning at a very reasonable cost. Highly recommended service and a great way to start the day! Even though we didn't have the opportunity to enjoy the pool it appeared well kept and looked inviting. Beautiful flowers and plants on the grounds.

This home is beautiful and decorated so well. There were 15 of us in our family, including our 7 grandkids, she's 2-15. There was a nice size kitchen with about everything that you could need. There was lots of spacious areas for everyone to be. This is very close to the airport and having all the space have us places to lay out our suitcases and get them packed well. The pool area was so pretty and we'll taken care of. The owners close the exterior gates to the property at night, which gave us a safe, taken care feeling in the big city. Lily was so great to work with and willing to help us in any way. We highly recommend this beautiful home!

The process and check in was pretty straight forward since we arrived late. Couldn’t get one of the showers to work and one was pretty dirty.

Our family of 9 adults and 2 infants stayed here on our final night in Costa Rica. We selected it for it's close proximity to the airport. (It took us about 15 minutes to drive to the rental car drop-off location.) This is a delightful and quaint boutique hotel. The property is well maintained. The décor is very quaint, with painted ceilings, furnishings, old wood doors, etc. We had five separate bedrooms, which were perfect for our family. We did not use the pool since it was raining, but it looked like a refreshing spot to cool off. Furniture in the main gathering room fits nicely with the décor, but is a little spartan and uncomfortable for gathering to socialize or play games. So we gathered in the kitchen area, which had two large tables and plenty of comfortable chairs. This is in a nice area of town. Lily was a very good host. She made us feel welcome and safe. For Americans who are accustomed to specific addresses, things can be a little more challenging to find in Costa Rica. Lily sent us a link to her location that we were able to use in Google maps or Waze, and that worked well. Lily, thank you for being a good hostess and giving us such a nice place to spend our last night in Costa Rica.

We stayed twice at this house over a 10 day period. Lilly was awesome - always very responsive and helped with questions on local restaurants , rides etc. very spacious, clean and the pool area was great to chill. Highly recommend .

We had an amazing stay at Casa Primo. The home is spacious and beautiful. We had 13 people, with 6 kids and 7 adults, and had plenty of room. The home was clean and the kids were so happy with the “kingdom castle doors”. The pool was beautiful and perfect for the kids. The kitchen had plenty of seating. The property was very quiet and peaceful as you could hear the beautiful birds. The spiral staircase with cascading vines was beautiful. The host was extremely helpful and was so kind and professional. She communicated very well and offered food recommendations that were excellent. We would absolutely stay here again in the future.

We use home rentals at least monthly and Lily has been our favorite host. She is exceptional!

Lily was an absolutely amazing host... after getting scammed by another VRBO listing in the area I reached out to Lily the night before our check-in and explained the situation. We had 10 guests and no place to stay... VRBO would not let us book anything until the day we were supposed to check-in. Sure enough, the listing we were meant to stay in turned out to be unavailable. I messaged Lily first thing in the morning and she was quick with response and was able to clean the place and receive our group by 2pm on the same day. Casa Primo is just that, PRIMO! Located in a very upscale suburb of San Jose the house was perfect for us. Comfortable beds, spacious common areas and a great pool and hot tub to chillout in. We had some friends over for some drinks and the noise admittedly got a little loud. Lily came to let us know and we quickly turned the beats down and were able to not disturb anyone further. Our overall experience was amazing thanks to Lily. I highly recommend this place for large or small groups looking for a quiet, clean, comfortable place near the city and airport. It was the perfect meeting and jumping off spot for our week in Costa Rica. Thank you Lily and team for making special arrangements for us. We are forever grateful.

Great place! We had two families and we each had our own space and plenty of room. Fun pool!

Our family of 11 ages 2 to 71 enjoyed Casa Primo immensely! The neighborhood is lovely and having 5 separate bedrooms with updated bathrooms made life easier for everyone. The pool kept the little ones busy and the hot tub was a great place for the adults to relax on Christmas evening. Also, the driver that Lily secured for us for our trip to Arenal was wonderful...professional, friendly and an extremely competent driver. Our only disappointment was that the house did not have a wash machine and dryer as listed in the amenities. We were offered two free loads of laundry done by house staff which helped to compensate. All in all I would highly recommend Casa Primo as a great place to stay in Costa Rica!

I was impressed with the property and the host. The house is bigger and prettier in person. We had the entire house and stayed about a week after my wedding. We were able to fit 18 people comfortably.The pool and hot tub was a welcome relief.Anyone staying here should definitely pay extra for the heating of the hot tub. Lily and her staff provided excellent support and much needed information about supermarkets, Uber & San Jose in general. Lily made the entire experience a breeze with her sweet accommodating nature and was readily available. The only drawback was most Uber kept trying to drop us off one block over instead of at the house ,but that helped you learn San Jose better. If in San Jose, I would definitely stay here again. We had 10 people share the Casa Primo house for a friend and family trip to Costa Rica for a week. The space was perfect. We only used 5 bed rooms, but had 7 available. All the rooms were spacious and had private bathrooms. The kitchen was large enough for our large groups to eat and the patio and pool area was great for the group to hangout and spend time. The night we arrived we had Lily, the owner and our excellent host, prepare us a traditional Costa Rican meal and it was excellent- we would highly recommend it. She even threw in a bottle of wine as an anniversary present. The maid came daily for towels and bedding and the house was clean and beautiful. There was a driver available to transport our whole group to events and the airport, which was very helpful. We also were able to Uber to the city easily. There is a market and shopping center with restaurants in walking distance from the house. Lily went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable and pleasant. She was easy to contact prior to the trip and answered each and every question. While in Costa Rica, she was available to assist with whatever was needed. Overall we would highly recommend and would absolutely stay at Casa Primo again if we travel back to Costa Rica.

This home was way beyond our expectations! Each room was roomy and comfortable. Our host, Lily, was lovely! We had dinner at the home which was great. We hope to make it back next year!

We came for our daughters wedding and could not be more please. Family came from all over the US and everyone had their own room and bathroom, large kitchen, plenty of living space in door and on the patio and around the pool. The owner lives in the attached apartment and is easily available but not intrusive. She cooked a great lunch for family and the bridal party the day of the wedding and helped us with transportation issues. The location is in a safe neighborhood around the golf course. We had numerous friends stay in the many hotels that were within walking distance as well as a grocery store and restaurants. We did have a rental car and found it very easy to get around. I would highly recommend this home for a big family gathering or even renting s room since each room has it’s own lock and safe, which we did not need to use since we had the whole house. Great place to base out of,if you plan to see Costa Rica from the San Jose area!!!

Our large family was very impressed by the warm welcome we received! We showed up with hungry children and our hosts helped us to have food ordered for us! They were kind enough to run us to the store and get the things we needed. The home was very clean and everything we needed. We didn’t know to ask ahead of time for the pool to be heated; we were hoping the kids would swim until supper arrived but the water was to cold. So ask ahead! Lily was accommodating to our every need! Thank you!

This house was perfect for our team, who was competing at BN Arena. The area is beautiful and safe. The house is huge. The kitchen is fully stocked. Each room was very comfortable. Kitchen is cleaned, and beds are made daily. I highly recommend this house when traveling with a team

We were in a group in 10, 5 couples and this was the IDEAL property, each of the bedrooms had it's own bathroom. Lily, the owner was AWESOME, she helped us with excursion plans, she drove us around, her husband's cooking was great. Whatever we asked for Lily made sure we had it. Lily was the ULTIMATE hostess!!!
