Property is in a very quiet, established area, near the strip. We were able to walk to dinner one evening. The weather limited some activities but overall a really nice getaway for our family.

Property is totally enjoyable and very well maintained. Excellent location. Great to see the baby hummingbirds and Roadrunners on the property. Incredible neighborhood and you can walk downtown in minutes. Definitely recommend and would stay here again.

Been here to this Property 4 times for 4 years and we love it, all the local history available to all guests is amazing, also all the Mexican and Indian artifacts and priceless antiques is wonderful in this house. The super large salt water pool is also a big plus for all of us. The grounds are beautiful with the Mountain View’s right in front of you in the backyard is super Awesome as well!! Unfortunately our family is growing again so this is our last trip to this house but we have made some unforgettable memories here and this place will always stay in my heart as my favorite home in PS♥️

The property is in a great location. You don't need to get in your car once you check-in. You can walk everywhere with great access to hiking too. Fantastic views of the mountains. Great pool. The house and furnishings are a little tired and could use some freshening but the pictures accurately reflect the home and decor.

Hope to stay again!!! Incredible outdoor space, spent a lot of time in the pool, great sitting areas inside and out, quiet neighborhood with easy access to downtown and trails, beautiful art. Loved it!!

This was perfect in so many ways. We were 3 couples and a single and there was plenty of room for privacy for all, inside and out. The interior was a home, not just a cool house, that was furnished and decorated consistent with the year it was built, 1938. The kitchen has everything a cook would need, the location was perfect. We cannot wait to come back next year and wish it were sooner. Respect to the owners for respecting the home.

Walking distance to all you would need, clean, spacious, nice hang out spaces.
Pool was lovely, and the shaded patio next to the sunny one was appreciated as well! Hope to come again.

We loved our visit to Steve’s property! The house was comfortable, clean, well stocked and very spacious for our family of 8. We loved hanging by the pool, and we easily walked into town multiple times a day for meals and ice cream. Steve was very communicative and quick to respond when we had questions. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a fun family getaway!

We absolutely loved our stay! The home was so comfy and beautiful. We had a great time cooking in the kitchen (which is greatly supplied with cooking items!) and playing games around the table. The pool was a great hit with the kids (ages 13 and 10) and I loved that it was saltwater (and worth the expense to heat it). Rooms worked out great for our family of 6. Loved the style of the home and the layout. Also really great to be within walking distance of downtown in a cool historic neighborhood. Hosts were also very communicative and helpful!

The space was clean, well appointed, and gave everyone enough privacy when needed. Very relaxed atmosphere. Pool was great, although heating takes a while in the morning.

The home was a perfect size for 7 girlfriends with space for everyone. The backyard and pool were the icing on the cake! Our property host Steve was absolutely great, responding quickly and attentive to questions and things to know! Thank you for memories we'll treasure always!

Location is unbeatable if you prefer to walk everywhere like we do. The house is older with older furniture which was fine by us - not your typical mid-century modern PS home. The back yard was huge and each bedroom had its own bathroom which was very nice. My only suggestion would be for the owners to leave a printout of all the information at the house. They had emailed me but I didn’t see it and we scoured the house forever looking for pool towels. When I finally did text to inquire, the reply was prompt.

This property was really lovely and is the most ideal layout for a large group while still maintaining privacy. The pool was great with plenty of outdoor seating. This is very close to the main downtown and is walking distance for those that don’t have an issue walking a few blocks. The beds and rooms are very comfortable with plenty of space for our group of 8. The house could use some minor maintenance and cleanup, but that didn’t get in the way of anything.

Overall our stay was very good. I'm a real stickler when it comes to cleanliness. I felt the home could have been kept up better, having paid a pretty high cleaning fee. We did enjoy the pool, even with the high temperatures the week we were there.

What an amazing stay we had. The house is in the perfect location and the amenities we needed for a successful girls trip. The pool and backyard is beautiful and we enjoyed the view and nightly bat show. (They don't bother you.) Thank you!

Loved our stay at the San Jacinto Cottage! The house was perfect for our family and friends. I loved the layout of the home and the decor was really cool. The location is amazing - just a few blocks away from downtown Palm Springs. 10/10! I will definitely book again!

We stayed here for sun and relaxation for a few days in May. Beautiful pool; immaculately clean. Tons of character. 2 huge master bedrooms, 1 room with 2 twins and a smaller room with a queen. All with bathrooms. Large open living room, big kitchen. Quiet, private neighborhood. You cannot go wrong.

Great location and beautiful home just as listed. Lots of amenities, linens and a well supplied kitchen. We didn’t even need to rent a car because we could walk to everywhere we wanted to go. I will say that it is need of some minor maintenance but it didn’t interfere with a pleasurable stay.

No notes, honestly... basically a perfect experience. Top tier location in central Palm Springs. Walkable. Panoramic views. Probably the best pool I've seen in any rental in my life. Great grill and firepit. Beautiful house and furnishings. Multiple outdoor spaces. All rooms feel private. Backyard feels very private. Citrus trees. The owner was very accommodating and made the experience better.
All bathrooms are ensuite which is a relevant planning consideration (not a problem on our visit). Piano slightly out of tune ;)

This property is amazing. It is exactly as pictured and very clean. The house is fully stocked, and the beds are comfy. The pool is lovely, and the backyard has just the right amount of shade on a hot summer day. The owner responds quickly and was very accommodating to our special requests. We are already looking forward to our next trip back!

Great Staycation
My friends and I decided to go to Palm Springs to celebrate their 40th birthday. As soon as we walked in, we loved this house from the kitchen, living spaces, bedrooms and the swimming pool. It's prime location in the downtown Palm Springs. Walking distance to restaurants and to Agua Caliente Palm Spring Casino. It was great staycation for us. Steve was a great host. He was very responsive with my texts and very accommodating with any questions or requests that we may have. I think that's what made it even comfortable for us to stay because the host was very attentive and helpful. Thank you, Steve for letting us stay to your beautiful cottage!
