Just as we were finally getting some crisp fall weather we made our way out to The Glow Room. Truly a relaxing place to spend a long weekend walking the nearby trails and gazing out at the rushing river. Every window has another lovely autumn scene. We’ll be back!

We loved this home! Cozy, well-designed — a perfect mix of rustic with modern elements. The location was a good jumping-off point for some nearby hiking and exploring, as well as easy access to North Hampton and East Hampton. Thank you!

We can't wait to go back! This cottage was a perfect relaxation headquarters- lots of nature to surround ourselves with (brook included) and easy to get to fun and charming towns. The house had everything we needed and the owners made it all super easy. 10/10!

Visiting the east coast from New Mexico, we were looking for a place in the woods where work and email couldn't follow us. The house and location were perfect. The kitchen is wonderfully appointed and the temperature was perfect inside the house. Lots of natural beauty nearby - feels isolated but there are lots of lovely small towns a short drive away. It was great - would love to return.

Amazing time! The house was beautiful, the surrounding area was absolutely amazing to explore! Even saw a black bear eating berries in the yard!

The cabin had the best vibe for a couple trying to getaway together. The aesthetic both inside and outside of the property was just perfect for us. I could not speak more highly of a place and I cannot wait to go back.

This place is like no other. We will return again as soon as we can! Anyone who gets to stay here is so lucky.

Great little cabin! Remote location down a long gravel road, little to no cell service, but a charming and fun place to stay. A good base location to get to everything you want to see in western Mass. Could get to almost anywhere within about an hour. Well supplied kitchen. Nice bathroom. Enclosed porch. Fire pit and sitting area in backyard. Creek right across the road. Would come back to stay in a heartbeat.

What a wonderful place! Super clean, comfortable, beautifully designed and minimally but artistically decorated. The location is incredible- literally across the street from miles of trails and the river. Loved having no cell reception or Wi-Fi, honestly, but take the recommendation to bring your own entertainment seriously- there really were no books or (intact!) games/puzzles to toy with, and no stereo or record player etc that we could find. One thing to note is that sounds carry like crazy because of the open loft structure and all the wood. Not a problem for me and my mother, but for larger families or folks who have very different wake/sleep times just be aware. I want to come back in every season...What a true escape, immersed in quiet and nature, yet with all the best comforts of the modern world.

Tranquil and remote.

We stayed for 5 days at the "Glow Room". The property was very stylish and well appointed. The vibe was extremely calm. An excellent place for connecting, writing, art or music. The off-the-grid feature was welcomed and enhanced our trip. There is a bubbling stream across the road from the house which can be navigated. We also enjoyed amazing day trips to Chesterfield Gorge and Glens Falls for private, lazy swimming days. Northhampton is also well within reach for a night out!

I reserve 5 stars for very comfortable/lovely places, which you don't want to leave. I thought there was a lot of nice things about this place, but overall would give it 3-4 stars for coziness/comfort/appearance. I am not taking off from the rating for this, bc it was clearly stated by the hosts, but I just want to add a note about the lack of service. We ended up struggling with the lack of service more than expected. Neither my husband or I got service even 10 min drive from the house (AT and T/Verizon). It was mainly hard because we are not local and were not familiar with the area (lots of U-turns when we figured out we were going the wrong way). Trying to plan for activities/trips even local markets (how far, how to get there, hours open, etc) was hard. Also, there would have been no way to call if an emergency occurred (no land line that we could see). I would just say to plan as much as possible before you arrive if you plan to check out the local towns/attractions.

Bowled over by the care, attention and amazing aesthetics of this cabin nestled in the trees. Didn't want to leave.

Perfect place to get away from it all. The owners leave a fantastic list of things to do and places to visit; my personal favorite being the flower bridge over in Shelburne Falls. Had an overall wonderful experience, already thinking about when we can book it again.

Very secluded area in an open space that felt clean and spacious. The brook across the road provided a space to explore and the perfect white noise to fall asleep to.

Wonderful find!

Everything was lovely. It's so quiet, so be prepared for that-no WIFI, radio, etc. The grounds are amazing, but definitely be prepared for tick checks.

The Glow Room was the perfect place to bring guitar, banjo, keyboard and some simple recording devices for two days of music play. Robbie was flexible when a predicted hurricane blew through our plans. The stream across from the front porch was roaring beautifully when we got there, and the crickets chimed in. Great retreat, lovely space; highly recommend.

Amazing location with everything you need for a low-key getaway. Great location for nature enthusiasts who don't mind being off the grid communication-wise, with some really cool touches (like the tile fireplace). We really enjoyed getting away from everything, and hope to come back again!

Our weekend in the Glow Room was refreshing and recharging to say the least. The river is absolutely incredible, and the forest and its paths are beautiful. The home is a serene and clean oasis, and we appreciated the kitchen having all the necessities for doing a little bit of cooking. We will absolutely be returning as soon as we can!

We loved our stay at the Glow Room (family of four, kids ages 7 and 11). The house is absolutely fantastic, with thoughtful and artful touches everywhere. The decorating was definitely inspiring. Every window had a special view of wildflowers and beautiful forest. The beds were all very comfortable and the house was incredibly clean. The location is amazing. We had so much fun exploring the brook and jumping around the rocks. We also loved the location for all we were able to drive to explore throughout the area: Dinosaur Prints Park (not a destination in itself but worth a stop along the drive), Mass MOCA and surrounding hiking, Three Sisters Sanctuary, Shelburne Falls with its Bridge of Flowers and the Potholes, and our absolute favorite- Chesterfield Gorge.We also just loved being able to unplug and be present. Thank you for a fantastic stay. We are already planning our next visit!
