The Retreat is a beautiful property with an unparalleled view of Lake Michigan. The property was perfect for our large family gathering. The house was gorgeous with every amenity and more than we imagined. Loved the pool table and the gaming garage. Highly recommended!

I have stayed at many vacation homes...but. this one is absolutely the BEST! The house, the property and our whole experience was amazing! The owner thought of and provided everything. We are already planning our next even there.

This home was perfect. We rented it right after Christmas for 5 nights for my husband and 4 adult children and their spouses. It was exactly as listed, very clean and spacious. The host was very communicative and we had no issues. Would highly recommend it for families or friends getaways

Wonderful house on Lake Michigan. Beautiful views. Great kitchen with all the cooking supplies you need. It was perfect for my family Christmas gathering with 9 adults. Communication with the owner was easy and quick. I definitely recommend this rental.

We especially enjoyed the large family room, kitchen openness .. we all able to be together without being on top of one another. Great fire pit and our host was very easy to communicate with. The weather couldn’t have been better!

This home is amazing and provided a perfect family getaway weekend. The view from the back yard set the tone for the entire weekend. I would highly recommend this property to anyone who wants a quite and relaxing weekend.

Its a wonderful place for a getaway

The house is absolutely fabulous and in a beautiful location. Nothing like waking up every morning to a beautiful sunrise. Of course, you can pull the shades down if you wish. But the lake is absolutely a beautiful setting. And the house head every amenity you could ask for. Location was great and owner was responsive and communicative and so willing to make anything we needed available. Highly recommend this house for a family get away.

You really can't beat the number of Bed/Baths at this property. We had 4 family units and we were so comfortable - lots of seating to all eat and relax together. Despite being close to neighbors, the property is well set up for privacy to enjoy the outside and the view. Only thing to be aware of - families with tenacious toddlers will need to be extra vigilant. There are lots of stairs, fireplaces, and sharp corners at this property. Not a critique just a heads up. They have the main stairs set up for a gate to go across but just something to consider. But 10/10 would definitely go back and recommend.

Beautiful building . Ample accommodations for our family of 10. Much provided for activities: Hot tub, pool table, volleyball, basketball , ping pong , exercise equipment , darts , board games, DVD’s …. Two fire pits . We’d recommend it for a quiet family gathering!

We had a multigenerational group stay for the week and this house suited all of our needs. Plenty of space, beautiful views, and a well stocked kitchen. We had a blast. Communication with the owner was straighforward and helpful.

Was a lot of fun. We rented a boat nearby and had a great day. Everything was clean and very nice.

We loved Dan's spacious, well-appointed, comfortably furnished, and spectacularly well-provisioned home. The pool table was a particularly big hit. Having such a wonderful house to spend the week in was especially important because--unfortunately for us-- this was a week of very unhealthy air quality (AQI 240+) due to the Canadian forest fires and we had to spend most of our time indoors. We couldn't recommend Dan's home more highly.

Nice attention to details - from the kitchen to bedrooms, bathrooms, even the tools for the fire pit. Dan, the host, was available and helpful. Absolutely satisfied.

What a beautiful house along Lake Michigan. The house and outside area was perfect for a weekend with the guys. What a great location between Chicago and Milwaukee. Host was great. Very good communication. Check in and out was very simple. If planning another trip back to that area, we would definitely be staying there again.

Odd to head to Wisconsin for spring break? NOPE! We drove 9 hours and this vacay home was worth every minute! We will be happy to trade a tropical vacation for this stay again! We love that this home had something for everyone to enjoy. The pictures do not do justice to the open concept of the kitchen and gathering rooms. Plenty of room to sit, meet, play, sleep, etc. We came during both rain and shine which was great! Seeing the lake on a cold day while relaxing was just what we needed to get away from work. The kids enjoyed basketball and views on the sunny days and the grass on the property is extremely well taken care of. The location was ideal for us as we enjoyed getting to the waterfront in Kenosha, shopping at the mall, and even played at Launch in Gurnee on the rainy day! Our host was very helpful, detailed in communication and information, and extremely informative with helpful stickers throughout the property which was beneficial. Comfortable furniture and beds, excellent updated appliances. We definitely recommend this property. The only thing we would have changed was to bring more people with us! We’ll be back.

Just an amazing property. A lakefront home that is inviting and comfortable. Be it the Lakeview rooms, the high-end kitchen, or the artist's touch it would be hard to not be amazed staying there. Dan the owner was always available and accommodating.

Very nice property, big house and lots of space Great views from the house. Very nice kitchen with any thing you could need for entertaining. Big TVs and the pool table was a blast. It is close to neighbors but we never saw anyone. Bedding, linens, towels all high end. Master suite was also very nice. No water access at the property. Checking in was easy and communication was perfect.

House was amazing and everyone loved it. Had awesome amenities and plenty to do. Highly recommend
