My grandchildren’s continuous laughter told us everything. We loved the house because adults had their own bedrooms with King size beds, the kids had their own room and we had an extra room to spare! Very clean and spacious. It was a wonderful Christmas. Thank you

I have stayed here 3-4 times and it is always a pleasure!

It seemed as though the bedding was not actually clean but we could deal with that. The oven was to small for feeding the entire family so I had to bake most of the dinners twice for each meal. I must tell you that the coffee pot had a leak in the handle and I suffered a burn from scalding hot water, but I am alright. Other than those reserves we enjoyed our stay and will consider returning again this next Spring of 2024. I treat my family to a family reunion/vacation twice a year. One in Spring & one in Autumn. The family Karioaki night was a blast. Some of my family are musicians so I did my best to keep their drumming moderate as to not disturb the neighbors. There was only one bunkbed instead of the two advertised. Overall, we had a great time and we appreciated that we had privacy. Thank you Jack & Judi !

House plan was amazing for group of 12. Plenty of bedrooms and beds for all. Close to Athens and Clemson. Owners communicated well. Will rent again in the future!

Very nice home.Bedroom situation great with many king size bed. Ourside area perfect with many seating areas on deck,firepit,beach area. Two tier dock amazing. Nice area of lake ,not to busy. Owners wonderful. Would recommend this home and would definitely rent again

This was a fun place to stay especially for larger families. Easy walk to the boat dock. Boat dock has an upper level allowing is to cast so much further. School of little fish at the dock enjoy a bit of bread everyday. Protected cove sees few big waves from the main channel. Had a little problem with some lights and the owner responded immediately. Very cordial and genuine folks. Beautiful deck and view. Cleaning crew was nice too— even the neighbors were nice ( saw them at their dock). Dog friendly place!

Our family enjoyed our stay at this property. Ample space for everyone and the proximity to I85 and the marina was great. Close shopping in Lavonia or Hartwell.

The space in the house is great and access to the water easy. The house is dated and needs a solid renovation especially in the kitchen. Cleanliness of the property was okay, but key areas of the house were not cleaned well. The owners were very responsive when we couldn’t lock the front door from the outside. Overall, nice stay with ample room for a large family, but the property looks like it’s been heavily rented. Needs a good sprucing up!

Lake house had plenty of room.6 bedrooms was great and the covered porch was wonderful.Rented a Pontoon boat and the lake was so relaxing. Having a pattle board for the young children would have been nice and and some furniture on lower patio would have been really nice. Family enjoyed.

We have been coming to this property for several years. The owners are fantastic to work with. Great communication and easy check-in and out procedures. The property is always clean and the location on the lake is great. It’s a great house to comfortably accommodate a large group.

We had a wonderful time. The house is in a great location in proximity to the marina, boat ramp and also easy access to shopping. The home was very comfortable with plenty of sleeping room. The fire pit was wonderful for roasting marshmallows in the evening. The host was very accommodating and always responded in timely matter when we had any questions. We highly recommend Tugalo Heights for your family vacation!

We are a group of college friends that have been alternating between beach and lake houses for reunions for the past ten years. One thing we typically struggle with is the bedroom layout, and this house fit our group perfectly. Jack and Judi are super responsive and answered every question very quickly. Tugalo Heights is a great house with great hosts. You'll be glad you picked it!

The house was spacious and clean. The view of the lake was SPECTACULAR! Very quiet and peaceful setting. There is plenty of space to move around and we spent most of our time on the outdoor deck which can accommodate a large number of adults. The beds are very comfortable and the internal temps maintained a comfortable temperature. The house is stocked very well with plates, utensils, linens, towels, etc.. There are plenty of coffee cups, but you may want to consider other beverage cups. Only drawback was the water capacity of the filtered well pumps, which limits the number of people that can use the showers to one at a time. The filtered water tasted GREAT. The internet connection was EXCELLENT. The owners were very responsive to my questions and provided informed answers. This is a great house to spend family time and enjoy the view of the lake.

We rented the property for our family Christmas. It was very nice and had a wonderful setup for a large group. The hosts were fantastic! We were very pleased with everything!

The property was very quiet and secluded. Unfortunately, the lake level was down due to a draught that I was not aware of. I was planning on using the canoe provided, however it was full of water and unsafe. This property is nice but more for summer.

We brought our Tritoon and docked it at the dock at the home. We were able to go out on the lake each day. When we came back, we had room for everyone to have their privacy to rest. This home was perfect for our family. Would definitely rent again!

The property owner was incredibly friendly and helpful and the view of the lake is beautiful. My 6 year old daughter loved playing on the beach, my 11 year old nephew loved the kayak, my dogs loved swimming in the lake, and my 70 year old parents loved relaxing on the patio and dock. There is something for everyone!

Group of friends from several states all over 50. We enjoyed the house. It accommodated all of us perfectly. Because we are all older we wished there was a railing on the steps to the lake, but we managed. Our bed was comfortable and the house was clean. The kitchen had everything we needed! Lake Hartwell is just beautiful! We had some rain but enjoyed our time together. Judi was very responsive. We would absolutely stay here again!

2nd year at this great property. Judi and Jack are very responsive and flexible. WE all enjoyed the relatively flat and easy access to the dock. Lake Hartwell is our favorite despite being near the Atlanta lakes.. Even at Labor Day weekend the lake was relatively calm. Very good for boating. We love the outdoor seating areal off the den. We seemed to gravitate to this pleasant setting.

My family had such a fun time on the lake. My sons and grandsons loved using the canoe. The house easily handled 10 of us.

The house has a lots of room and the layout is perfect for multi family use. It was well stocked with linens and towels. The large deck as well as the dining area accommodated our large family perfectly at meal time. The cooling system was excellent.

Owners were very helpful in getting our family to the location and letting us know where to see the best Fireworks! Our family had a blast and would definitely stay at this property again! Perfect location!

The house is located in a quiet cove of the lake which is perfect for swimming and fishing. The dock easily accommodates our boats and is close to the house. We very much enjoy this property and have already booked for next year!
