Very well equipped, quiet, separate from the pub

The staff were very welcoming, allowed us to check in earlier which was greatly appreciated, food was excellent, breakfast was a perfect size for us ( not too large).

An excellent place to stay for Brighton - good value, an excellent kitchen and very friendly staff. I would definitely stay there again. The menu was good, and breakfast JUST what was needed. Very pleased indeed.

Room was warm & cosy and very nicely furnished. Lots of lighting which was nice if needed. Breakfast and dinner was lovely and staff were great. Would def go back.

Friendly staff and nice bar/pub

Paid for breakfast but then told breakfast served some time between 8&9 am Far too late as need to be aware early for business All other hotels we stay in always do breakfast no later than 7am

Nice comfortable room, staff all helpful and friendly and a tasty breakfast. Location was handy to get around without having to travel through town. All in all an enjoyable stay.

Good comfortable rooms

From the moment I arrived, I was made to feel very welcome.

It would be very difficult to find fault with anything at the Coach and Horses.

Very welcoming and friendly staff and locals. Room was very clean and bed was very comfortable. Food was amazing.

Room got very warm overnight. View from room was a building site of new houses being built.

the sofa bed was very uncomfortable. my son and husband slept there as it was next to the wall and it was safer for my son who is only 3.5 years old. in the morning they couldn’t move. it was so uncomfortable, also they didn’t sleep very well. the breakfast was very gourmet I would say. we ordered English breakfast but there was only one sausage one tomato and one egg🍳.nothing else. the location was very uncomfortable as well. it wasn’t showing on the pictures. it was next to the road, no nose from the cars though, but it was one way lane and we had to go all the way around to go on the other way. also the people from other rooms were chatting in the corridor for a long time and we couldn’t sleep.

the room was very comfortable and beautifully decorated. Lovely wet room with toiletries.

Very welcoming lady

The room was nice, the food in the pub was superb, and the breakfast spot on. The pub itself is lovely and the candles are a wow factor! No noise from the road in the hotel room.

The only thing and it is minor, the room was very clean apart from the cobwebs and dust around the light fitting in room 9. Just needed a wipe. Also time to change the mattress it wasn't the best, but we slept OK on it

Staff were very friendly, had a lovely dinner, and breakfast.

Breakfast was excellent and staff polite and attentive. Location to areas of interest ie. Arundel. Easy parking and we liked that the hotel was separate to the hotel reception and pub. Temperature controlled taps for shower and bath were great too.

Lots of dust under the bed. Room was warm due to weather, fan was provided though.

Breakfast was fantastic 😋 evening meals outstanding. You have a brilliant chef.Mark the manager was very helpful in supplying a fan for our room & put up with me always asking for your delicious hash browns.

Only negative was the room was far to hot 🔥 🥵 but mark supplied us with a fan.

Average breakfast with no fruit or yoghurt available but good English breakfast and omelette choice excellent. Difficult to find in the dark off a very busy fast road

Perfect for our wedding at long furlong barn. We stayed the night before and the night of the wedding. Breakfast was delicious, rooms were comfortable, big cosy towels. Owner and his wife couldn’t have been nicer.

There was one younger female staff member who was really quite rude and unhelpful. Everything was a ‘sorry no’ and was clearly very anxious at such a big booking. Shame as all other staff were 10/10.

We were travelling to a wedding near by and whilst there was no assurance our room would be ready it was and made our transition very smooth as we only had half an hour due to bad traffic. My husband forgot his charger and one was promptly found and was in our room when we got back. Great breakfast ant the manager and staff were so helpful.
