This property is beautiful, everything is as described. We where a family group of 12, the house is big enough that we never felt on top of each other. Monica (the owner) is great to communicate with. And Yani (the house maid) OMG she AMAZING , she’s there for what ever you need her!!! We only had her cook for us one dinner (fried fish n tostones) it was really good ! She also helped us with meal prep! We only wish we could stayed longer !! The beach is quiet, no waves , you can snorkel (we did with our own things)! You can walk the beach for miles n miles . We did an excursion, ATV n it was awesome , everyone loved it !!! We will love (and hope for ) that we can come back again !!!

Mónica y su marido muy amables, muy atentos y Yani muy servicial, a nuestra disposición, siempre alegre con una sonrisa en el rostro!!! También teníamos una cuenta abierta directamente del Minimarket, qué nos pareció genial, no nos faltó nada!!! Seguro que volveremos!!!

There is some construction nearby but that should be finished before too long (we stayed March 2019), otherwise a wonderful place to stay. If you fly into Santo Domingo airport, and plan to take a taxi, we suggest you ask Monica to arrange it since the local drivers know the quickest way to go. It’s fun to go to the fish market with Yani (you cannot buy fresher fish!), and there is a very good French bakery in Las Terrenas. All four of us really enjoyed our great stay at Villa Mo.

We recently returned from a 2 week stay at Villa Mo. While the Midwest was fighting through a blizzard, we were enjoying sunny days and cool breezes at night! Villa Mo is a wonderful, clean, comfortable home! Monica, the owner, makes sure that your visit is perfect. She works hard beforehand by grocery shopping and even made a flan dessert for us! Yanni, the chef/housekeeper, also works hard to make sure everything is enjoyable! She is an excellent cook! Our days were spent relaxing by the pool or one of the patio areas, or walking down to the nearby beach. We were all impressed by the comfortable, high quality furniture. The 3 master bedrooms are large and well furnished. Monica is the owner of a nearby Bodega which made it very convenient to order groceries or drinks to be delivered! One night the groundskeeper made a bonfire on the beach. It was awesome! I highly recommend this property to anyone who needs a relaxing vacation!

Janni the cook made us delicious meals and did all the cleaning. She was great....always pleasant, helpful and friendly. A short walk to miles of the most beautiful beach with hardly anyone there. Calm water great for swimming with the kids. Overall a very relaxing, scenic and secure holiday venue. Grandparents, parents and children all enjoyed it immensely. There are some renovations underway at some of the nearby villas but this did not disturb us. We can recommend Villa Mo highly especially for families. David and Joyce , Montreal

She is very friendly and helpful and apart of this a very, very good cook! -We loved her food and only went out for dinner once, as we liked her food so much. The owners run a small Supermarket just a five minutes walk away from the Villa, witch is very helpful if you want to buy small things. We can highly recommend the property because of its beauty, safety and modern interior design. The beach, witch is very close to the property, is very beautiful, clean and quiet. Thank you very much for this terrific holidays! We really enjoyed it and will come back one day.

We just got back from a 2 week-long stay at Villa Mo with our extended family (6 adults and 5 kids from 2 – 13 years old) and everybody truly enjoyed this vacation. Every day was better than the last, we did not want to go home…. We loved the open concept setting with the different outdoor space and terraces, the house is nicely decorated, and the kids loved to play in the pool and in the large garden and everybody enjoyed the incredible beach, that is 1-minute walk away. Often in the afternoon we walked with the kids for an ice-cream to the close by store “La Bodega” and almost daily used the service to have things we need delivered to the front door, very convenient!! Monica is a great host, she goes out of her way to make sure your stay is perfect. The soul of the house is Yani, her cooking is outstanding and always there to help out with a big smile on her face. YOU HAVE TO TRY HER COCUNT-CURRY!!!! We repeated this dish like 4 times during our stay, with fresh fish, shrimp and lobster that we got directly fresh out of the water at the Fish-market that takes place daily at the beach in Las Terrenas, great truly fresh products and great experience… We can’t wait to go back, hopefully soon!!! Thank you, Monica, Yani and all the Villa Mo staff for your hospitality and for making this a very memorable vacation for our family!!!

A short 1 minute stroll puts you at the perfect beach to enjoy the tranquil blue water, maybe some snorkeling or paddle boarding. The in-house service is very experienced, great cook and discreet. Villa Mo estuvo increíble. Muy buen espacio, tanto en las salas y patio como en las habitaciones. Todo super limpio, y lo mejor es que proveen toallas de baño y de playa, lo cual permite empacar más ligero. La playa está justo al frente de la Villa, a un minuto caminando, y es una de las mejores playas en las que he estado. Fui con un grupo de 10 personas y en ningún momento tuvimos inconvenientes, al contrario, todo fue sencillo y fácil. Definitivamente recomendado!

Precioso lugar, tranquilo, excelentes atenciones, casa limpia y acogedora. Muy cerca de la playa. Habitaciones amplias y cómodas. Todo funcionó a la perfección. Solo tengo una observación: Deben fumigar por unos pocos mayes y mosquitos.

A beautiful open concept setting that let us enjoy the outdoors from every room. The villa is simply but superbly decorated to allow relaxation and fun. Kitchen is well stocked with everything one could need. The same can be said of the accomodations... anything we needed was available. We gladly surrendered all food preparation to trusted villa staff and were rewarded with delicious food ad well as free time to enjoy the setting. The grounds crew was helpful and accomodating. The beach is a very short walk away. We had reservations about the status of the property so soon after hurricane Maria but the property was in pristine condition. I would return to Villa Mo in a heartbeat.

Our extended family thoroughly enjoyed a vacation together at Villa Mo. We stayed a week, and every day was better than the last. Three generations found something to suit their tastes, with very helpful advice from Monica. My 3yr old daughter loved the coconuts and coral, my cousins were thrilled with the excursion by boat to nearby caves, and my favorite activity was relaxing by the private pool. The adventurous can kite-surf at the beach nearby, early risers can watch stunning sunrises on the sand, and the whole family can enjoy the crystal-clear water and gentle waves. Monica is so warm and friendly, and she always knows who to call for anything you might need, including a taxi to town, and recommendations for shops and restaurants. We loved every day, and the best part was how welcome and comfortable we all felt at Villa Mo. We cannot wait to come back, and have already started planning for our next vacation there.

Para mi familia, Villa Mo forma parte ya de nuestras vidas. Allí nos sentimos recibidos como parte de su familia cada vez que visitamos. Las atenciones de sus propietarios, asi como del servicio es excelente, siempre con una sonrisa en sus rostros. Una de las mejores playas justo en el frente de la casa, para disfrutar en familia. Cada vez que llega la hora de irnos, ya estamos pensando cuando será la próxima oportunidad para volver.

We just got back from a week-long stay at Villa Mo and I have to say this is the best family vacation we’ve had to date. My husband and I (along with our 5 teenagers) couldn’t believe how lucky we are to have found this home. Read all the wonderful reviews because they are all true – the house, location, safety/security, privacy, beach, proximity to town, host (Monica) and cook/housekeeper (Yani), etc. The home is a 200-step/1-minute walk to the almost private beach. The beach cove is located between the all-inclusive Bahia Principe Resort El Portillo to the right, and Coson beach to the left. Entrance to the El Limon Waterfalls is just a 15-minute drive. This is the first vacation I’ve had wherein I could honestly say I’m 100% fully rested!

Great property

We visited Villa Mo for a week and we LOVED IT! We could relax, my kids enjoy the sorrounding nature. My 5 y.o. boy loved doing horse backrinding. The maids were very helfull, and their food is the BEST EVER! They even helped with my 8month baby! I could enjoy the pool and beach, to come back to have our meal and house done!! I totally recomend it. We tried a "Morir sonando" (like a special milkshake) for breakfast that we loved! I recomend going to "El limon" waterfalls. Is a gorgeus place to visit, although you finish been exhausted. We also took the tour to visit los Haitises, and were able to see the WHALES!!! We are planing coming back again!
