Great house had everything we needed.

The location was great. Need some updates on the property but overall, great stay for the price. I love that the pool is not shared amongst other locations but it is rather on the smaller side.

Our group really enjoyed our stay. The house was clean and provided exactly what we needed!

We all really enjoyed our stay at this location. It was very clean and had everything we needed to have a great weekend. The walk to the beach was super short and made it easy to get back and forth throughout the weekend. The pool was perfect and a great spot to hangout and relax. Would absolutely stay again at this property!

Wonderful place to stay. It was a great option for our large family. Great location and great pool.

Spring break family trip. The house was perfect for 2 family’s with lots of kids. Perfect location. I booked this house for 14 people. We had 12 towels total… the pictures of the house are misleading. Bedrooms are smaller and the back door doesn’t walk out to the pool.

Several issues. It should not be called pet friendly, or even pets allowed. As soon as my dogs got out of the car there paws were covered in sand spurs. We had to dig them out with tweezers. Dogs didn’t want to go out again. Two toilets requires multiple flush’s and many clogs. Old in poor repair ( im a master plumber ) One toilet tank cracked down the middle. We didn’t use it for fear of it breaking. Tiles cracked throughout the house. My grandson (3) and I were sitting on the step at the top of the entry stairs. He touches the stairs rung and it fell off leaving a hole big enough for him to fall thru. Air conditioning on one side quit working on second day. We didn’t call for service as the temperature outside was dropping and didn’t want to deal with it. It is a nice property but maintenance has been neglected. Maintenance obviously done by handy Andy. Not going back, expect more for what we paid.

Clean and great location to have fun with family and friends.

I have nothing bad to say about the property. Very close to beach and in the middle of everything.

Great for Hangout. About a 2 mile walk and sleeps plenty of people. We had both sides of the duplex which worked out great.

Check in was easy. Everything that was listed was there and functioning. Location was great property seemed very maintained. Some of the towels needed to be replaced (rusty stains). Recommend outdoor lighting around pool area. Would stay again.

Bonnie Dunes was as it appears online. It was perfect for our large group! Every room was use! Property was clean and kitchen is well stocked! It is a walk to the beach, its not awful by any means but I have mobility issues so it was a bit more challenging that I thought it would be. We solved that by dropping me off at the entrance on 12th street :) The negatives. (3rd world problems really) There are alot of those burrs out by the pool and the walk to the pool.. the weeds around the pool could use some trimming, the decks were a little worn out, but we solved this by laying beach mat down on the decks and making children wear shoes to a and from the pool. There was a brokeen wooden chair inside by the table, it was a bit of a hazzard. We removed the chair and all was fine. We did have a company come replace 3 windows on our last day. The property manager did let me know the day before...and gave us a discount for the inconvenience. The company was very pleasant, it was a little awkward for everyone im sure. Overall we would absolutely recommend Bonnie Dunes to anyone with big families!

Great Location. Kitchen equipment was mediocre.

The house was great and was in a great location. It fit our needs perfectly! However, several showers wouldn’t hardly drain. One shower had water standing in it for 3 days. Most of the TVs didn’t work. The internet also didn’t work. One side had a leak and instead of fixing it they completely turned the water off in the kitchen which means you couldn’t wash dishes or cook on that side. I asked the housing manager to call me and it took over 24 hrs for her to do so. We asked twice for someone to come fix these problems and none of them were resolved. The fridges didn’t keep food super cold (maybe a sealing problem). Told them about that also and it wasn’t even acknowledged. The check in and out process was super easy.

We had a great time at this property! It was the perfect set up for our two families to vacation together. The two separate condos, but joined made it beyond perfect for alone family time and time with others. The condo was very clean and had plenty of dishes, pots/pans and things to make cooking at home a breeze! (Very helpful with little kiddos.) Thank you for the beautiful vacation! Memories we will never forget!

Lots of issues that needed taken care of. Hand railing up to property awkward to grip. Back door of one duplex very difficult to open. Shades in living room would not pull down. No stopper for sink. Drawers in my bedroom falling apart. No guides for TV programing. Dead batteries in remote. Same remote damaged. Outside Adorandic chairs falling apart and not useable. I could go on and on. All these smallish things were source of constant irritation.

This property was the PERFECT size with great amenities and a good location for our large group of 9 adults, 4 small children and two large dogs. The pool was VERY clean and much enjoyed. The property management company worked great with the baby crib delivery/pick up people.

I will say that since our rental was larger and rates were higher, I think consideration should be given to get larger units cleaned first. This many people usually come at different times and an earlier check-in would be appreciated. We ended up last on the cleaning crews schedule and weren’t allowed access to the unit until later than 4:30. We had been told 3:30. This was even after we requested an earlier check in more than 24 hours before we came into town. We also offered to compensate for this earlier time - we were never contacted by the agency in reply to our request.The unit itself was very clean, but the grounds around the unit had trash, bldg materials, etc laying around. We did clean others trash up as the week progressed. It took away from the looks of the unit.We had trouble getting half of the unit cooled, the phone number on the agreement wasn’t answered, called the number to rent a unit and received a quick response. Unfortunately, the repair company wasn’t there until 10:30 pm.Both sides could use a broom, we ended up purchasing a broom to sweep sand.Bring a wagon of some sort as beach access is not as close as shown on the website.Rain came in front door and both balcony doors during a bad wind and rain storm (Barry). We have rented properties for our family in the Gulf Shores, Orange Beach and Fort Morgan area for 30 years. Never having been disappointed in summer rentals before, or posting negatively, I want to post this year. This unit is in great need of repair, i.e., two of the worst complaints was nail heads sticking up on deck (a grandson ripped his foot and parents not allow him to return to beach waters for a couple of days because of bacteria in water along the gulf coast) and blood was on one of the mattress covers in one of the downstairs bedroom. We loved the location of property and layout of house.

This house features 2, side-by-side townhouses. They don't connect internally...you walk outside to the deck to reach the other side. That wasn't a problem for us, but were surprised when we arrived. First, we loved having room for everyone and all of the cars in our party, and the property was clean and outfitted with flexible, ample furnishings. The deck space was nice for hanging out as was the dining area for fun family meals (we all gathered in one kitchen). We loved that we could bring our dog! This brings us to 2 concerns. The carpeting should be replaced or cleaned and the weeds around the stairs and foundation posts (containing tenaciously-sticky burrs that stuck to our shoes and our dog) should be removed. We visited with family staying in another beach house, and these weren't present there. Overall, this was a great across-the-road-from-the-beach house. P.S. We were stopped on the beach with our small, leashed dog by the beach police. NO DOGS ON GULF SHORES BEACH...?!?!

We booked our stay just in time for tropical storm Alberto......turns out we had great weather although it wasn’t expected! The house was perfect for us. We had two couples with young children on one side and three couples in the other unit. It worked out great for us because the couples could sleep in while the families went to the beach. The private pool was perfect. The kitchen is well stocked for all your cooking needs. You are right across the street from the beach. I would suggest buying a beach wagon to cart your things especially if you have children. There is an outdoor shower with hot and cold water. DVD players in both living areas. Only complaint is the beds were a little stiff for my taste. No biggie though. Considering booking next year’s trip here!
