Our family visits to Vancouver typically involve a stay downtown, but we were curious to try something in Kitsilano, an iconic neighborhood in the city. Mirriam's place did not disappoint - perfectly located on a quiet side street and clearly well cared for. Communication was amazing, Mirriam was a lovely host, pictures were exactly as advertised, and we would definitely stay here again. Highly recommend!

This home is better than described. Very roomy, cozy, and comfortable, and full of everything you need. Amazing neighborhood, quiet and safe, close to some fantastic restaurants and coffee places (seriously C41 is the best coffee I've ever had!). Easy access to downtown. Parking right outside the home. Good communication with Mirriam. Wish we could have stayed longer and hope to be able to return again someday!

Great location and very tidy. Owners live in the other half of the house. Parking can be difficult. Owners were flexible and extremely welcoming.

We enjoyed Christmas at this lovely home. Charming and well appointed. Walks on the beach every morning. It was a great Christmas.

Great place; comfortable, clean and convenient. Listing and reviews suggested as much and this location and owner lived up to the billing. We'll do it again next time out. Family in from Ottawa for 2 weddings. Travelled to North Van and Surrey and Granville Island area. Perfect central location.

We loved our stay at Kitsilano - such a beautiful house and garden in a charming neighbourhood. A great launching pad for our all too short discovery of Vancouver. Mirriam thought of everything and was so kind and welcoming!

Loved how quiet the neighborhood was. The place is even more beautiful than it looks in pictures and the floor heating was amazing. And the dahlia garden made an afternoon tea a total dream

Lovely home with comfortable beds, great spaces to relax, all desired amenities and gorgeous grounds. Close to everywhere we wanted to be including good restaurants, shopping and a quick drive into downtown. The host was super welcoming and provided beverages for our arrival as well as a fruit bowl. First, let me say, I don't know if we would have enjoyed Vancouver as much as we did if we didn't stay in Kitsalano. Mirriam has such a wonderful, comfortable home in a great area near everything. It was so easy to get around and you felt really safe in her neighborhood. We just did not expect the amount of bicyclists and pedestrians! We did bike around Stanley Park twice and walk just about everywhere. She and her sister Maryann are so welcoming. I can see why you would want to call this neighborhood home. There are so many great restaurants, bakeries and such within walking distance. Canada Place, the airport, Capilano, Granville Island and Stanley Park are not far away! You will not be disappointed renting this beautiful home. Thank you once again for everything! We will definitely be back one day!

Mirriam and her sister Maryann are the best hosts -- so warm, caring and kind! Nothing was too much trouble for them when we had questions. Their home was immaculate and the perfect set-up for our family of 6. We slept so well every night -- beds were super comfortable! The fresh flowers from their beautiful garden and complimentary items in the kitchen were very much appreciated!! And you cannot beat the location in Kitsilano! When we return to Vancouver, this is where we will stay again! We are so grateful!

The home was lovely, as was the host Mirriam. We were not in need of anything! Our daughter got married near Jericho Beach and this home was in the perfect location for us.

Mirriam was a wonderful host! Property was exactly as advertised and even cuter than the photos showed. Location was ideal. House is beautifully decorated with all the amenities and supplies you need for a hassle free stay. If we visit Vancouver again, we will definitely try to stay here again!

This house was perfect for our stay in Vancouver. It is located near Granville Island, which we visited most days as well as other activities we did during our visit. We spent most evenings relaxing at the house after a full day of activity. Mirriam checked in on us and was very responsive to any message we sent.

This is a lovely property located in a wonderful neighborhood (Kitsilano) and hosted by a charming owner (Miriam). My family stayed 7 days and had a marvelous time. The house is spacious and super clean. It is well stocked with linens, towels, kitchen utensils and supplies. Kitsilano is conveniently located, close enough to downtown and the house is located only one block from public transportation. The neighborhood is great for walking, only 3 blocks away from the water and near the beach. Everyone seems to be a gardener in Kitsilano (especially Miriam!), and my wife and I had a great time walking to see all the flowers. Best of all, Miriam was a great host who responded quickly to all requests. She volunteered to shop for us prior to our visit, and was very helpful. One morning we had a problem with hot water; she responded within in minutes and had it fixed almost immediately. That day, she offered to drive us downtown to start our day and gave us some wine as well. She is the perfect host. Next time we visit Vancouver we will make sure we book this property. Best home stay we have ever had!

It was one of the best family vacations. We were in a perfect location to walk, see the ocean and visit my son. Mirriam was a perfect host. It will be hard to beat her accommodations and personal touches. Thank you!

House had everything we needed for our stay. Parking was an issue which was bothersome due to ongoing rain . Many long wet walks to get in to rental.

The place is super clean and cosy. Great location, short drive from airport and downtown with all the local attractions. Host is very nice and welcoming person!

We are a family of 5 and rented this property as a way to have some family time before dropping our oldest off for freshman year at UBC. We were very comfortable with 3 teens in this house, enjoying the neighborhood, restaurants, and biking. Very safe and inviting neighborhood with great beaches nearby. Mirriam was responsive and a great host. The Dahlia garden is even better than I imagined!

We just returned from an amazing one week stay in Vancouver and Mirriam's lovely home. At check in we were greeted with beautiful fresh flowers from her garden. The extras (toiletries, hair dryer, spices, coffee, tea) were a nice touch! Throughout our stay she surprised us with warm homemade cookies that we devoured and the most delicious local wine. Her hospitality is unmatched and her home is clean, spacious, and extremely quiet. We highly recommend a stay at this lovely home.

My son, husband and I had a wonderful stay in this lovely Kitsilano home. It was beautifully appointed and extremely comfortable. The neighborhood was delightful and quiet. We visited the nearby park/beach and enjoyed some of the great nearby restaurants. It was a short drive to downtown Vancouver and the mountains. Miriam was a truly amazing and gracious host and we felt so at home. A delightful experience all around!!

The house is clean and spacious. The yard is pretty and the area is gorgeous. Our host was most accommodating. We would never stay in a hotel again. She is our go to place!!

This is a beautiful home in a very walkable neighbourhood. It is close to shops, the beach and you can access other parts of the city easily. Mirriam is an exceptional host who goes above and beyond to make her guests feel welcome. We stayed for over two months and she made this feel like a home for our family. We really enjoyed our stay at Mirriams VRBO. She was very attentive, the house is quite lovely and super well-appointed. We enjoyed being in a cozy neighborhood away from the downtown but a very close drive to everything in Vancouver. We recommend Mirriam's home.
