Convenient to Sonoma. Only about 8 - 10 min drive. The three bedrooms are nicely appointed and comfortable. The deck/terrace is large, and comfortable. It would benefit from staining/painting.

The reviews were accurate and the house is adequate for 2 couples doing wine country. Rooms worked with 2 king beds. Kitchen is good. The outside area is not well kept. Overall we enjoyed the house.

We came as a surprise trip for my husband's 40th birthday. The location was amazing, very central to everything we wanted to do. The house was extremely comfortable, especially relaxing by the fire with a bottle of wine every night! Bob and Diana were amazing hosts. If I could give it 10 stars I would!

The place was comfortable. The kitchen had everything we needed. The comforters are very old and dated, but the beds were comfortable. We arrived late and it was so nice that lights were left on, so we weren't arriving in the dark. Two of the rooms have king sized beds, which was a nice plus when you are staying with another couple.

We really enjoyed our stay. The home is comfortable, well-equipped, and nights are quiet (even heard an early morning owl each day). The location was perfect for us and we would definitely stay again when in the area.

This property was perfect for us. A cottage tucked away in the back a neighborhood. I felt like it was comfortable home. It has everything and more that you need. There were 4 of us and plenty of places to go escape and read a book. The kitchen has great pots and pans and lots of cookbooks for you to peruse. Lots of outdoor space. It is about a 30 minute drive to Napa or Calistoga. The mountain roads are fun but don’t drive if you had a few as they become treacherous. The owner had great communication and has thoughtfully provided everything. One review said the place was worn and needed updating. I would describe it as comfortable and inviting, like your grandmother. We loved it. Thank you. It is near sonoma and only 2 miles to the Safeway. I raised my eyebrows as we turned off into the neighborhood, it cracked me up that houses were built every which way with no rhyme nor reason. The collie dogs next door do like to bark around 7:00 am.

Lavender Cottage is a lovely, cozy cottage that was perfect for my family of four on a wine tasting adventure. The indoor space is comfortable and well-appointed with plenty of seating and space for four adults. The kitchen was well-stocked as was the wine fridge! The rain kept us away from the outdoor space most of the weekend but we managed to grill one night and soak up some sun on the last day. The cottage is located just about a five minute drive to downtown Sonoma. Robert was so easy to work with and we would definitely stay there again!

We had a lovely stay in Boyes Hot Springs! We were in town to spend time with family and it was the perfect spot to relax in and venture out to taste good and wine from the area. Great spots for coffee and a bite to eat were just down the hill, and it was very easy to get to Sonoma for more action.

The cleaning staff needs to pay more attention to what they are cleaning as well maintenance staff to addressing simple items eg; lighting, maintenance services, repairs/reconditioning of decks and steps and some safety items checked. It's my belief that any vacation rental should be as good... if not better... than your own home. We have used multiple vacation agencies and realize not everything is perfect however, simple things should be addressed. Investing the time and money back into your property should always be a priority...that what keeps people coming back. We will not return to Lavender Cottage...we will return however, to Sonoma.

This home is very comfortable and provided us a wonderful home for our six-day stay in Sonoma. The kitchen is amazingly well stocked, probably the best of the many places I’ve rented. When it was warm enough my dad sat outside for a few minutes. Not being able to sit outdoors on the wonderful porch is my one regret but I told myself “another time of year, I’ll be back”. The bathrooms were great, beds were comfortable, heater worked well and the neighborhood was quiet which is greatly appreciated. We loved the fireplace! For those who like to walk, there’s a Lucky grocery store, two parks, and a variety of neighborhoods to explore. The city of Napa isn’t far. Sonoma Plaza is easy to drive to. Diana and Bob were quick to respond to questions and comments.

The house was clean and nicely furnished. Close to Sonoma town square and easy drive to many wineries. We really enjoyed sitting outside in the evenings on the beautiful deck.

We had an absolutely lovely stay. The wrap around porch is terrific, beds are incredibly comfortable, everything we could need was available. Couldn't have asked for a better experience.
