My husband and I and 2 of our adult children stayed here for four days over Christmas. It was perfect! The space was clean, lots of amenities in the house, plenty of towels. It was easy to travel to see our family in Napa. Quiet neighborhood too. I would definitely stay here again. The owners were quick to respond to our questions. Again, a great place and great value! It was the perfect size for my family (husband, and two adult kids). The weather was a little chilly, so we weren’t able to enjoy the lovely backyard, but it certainly looked inviting. Thanks again!

This was our second stay at this house for our annual wine tasting trip. We love it! The house has everything you need. One of our group loves to cook and was impressed with the well stocked pantry. The outdoor space is nice and the neighborhood is walkable to several places for food and ice cream.

This was a good find for what we were wanting ... married couple traveling from Colorado to meet with our adult daughter who was flying into SFO and then together spending time in Napa to see friends and clean out a storage unit. Two of the bedrooms are on one side of the house (with 1.5 baths on that side), and the third bedroom (with it's bathroom) is on the opposite side of the house through the main living area. So although we didn't need all three bedrooms, it was nice that we had some privacy from each other, private bathrooms, and then wonderful shared living space, kitchen, and DR that are open concept. Plus there is a nice covered porch on the back that provided outdoor seating and relaxing. Everything was clean, well-maintained, well-stocked, and in great condition. The hosts even left us a complimentary bottle of pinot noir to enjoy. We would definitely stay here again if we were to return to Napa-Sonoma area.

The owners are very honest in their description of this house. While they use "retro", I would use "dated", but it is still a great value for the area. It was the perfect size for 4 adults and the extra bathroom was great. The house was VERY clean and in a great location. The neighborhood felt very safe and was super quiet, even during 4th of July week. Very close to downtown Sonoma, with a fun ice cream store and a great coffee house (Barking Dog) just down the hill. The owners left a binder with tons of useful info. There are also board games and a gift of a bottle of excellent wine. The outside space was a bonus; we spent most evenings out there with wine and charcuterie. It was so pleasant. I would definitely come back - highly recommend!

We loved everything about this home! The retro vibe is really cool. The outdoor patio was perfect! We appreciated that the home was so comfortable, clean and affordable! Loved the location. We were very happy we found it. I would definitely recommend it and would stay there again.

Great house for a family vacation. Plenty of room indoor and outdoor. Lots of little extras in the kitchen that made our visit more relaxed.

Location was great. Easy drive to Napa, Sonoma, San Francisco, Muirwood, Santa Rosa, Bodega Bay. Enjoyed evenings and mornings in the relaxing back yard.

We felt at home. The sunny terrace and the big windows were the highlight. We loved the yard with running water as well as the fireplace. Would recommend! Thank you so much for having us.

Our stay here was perfect. The kitchen had everything you needed and spices. The backyard, the porch and the view from the den was beautiful. . The location was great, just a short drive to visit the redwoods, wineries, and markets right around the corner. Plenty of space and bathrooms for 4 of us gals.

Location was great, not too far from downtown, but definitely not walkable to much. Photos are exactly as described and it was really clean upon check-in. The bedding, beds, and pillows definitely seem to be at least 10+ years old. The beds are very uncomfortable and the pillows are essentially totally flat. The linens could use some updating for sure. As long as these things don't bother you, it's a great place to stay and well-maintained otherwise!

We had a fantastic time. We each had our own bedroom and bath. 2 full one half. The house was cute and furnished nicely. It was cool weather, so we’re not able to use the back yard, but it would be perfect for lounging, children playing, and barbecuing. The kitchen and pantry were stocked and ready to cook, if you wanted. We loved it.

Four of us were so comfortable for a long weekend stay in Sonoma. The house was well stocked, clean, and had a lovely backyard space, including a lemon tree! An entire wall of windows made it feel even more spacious. Josette and Dave were helpful with recommendations and assisted with a surprise floral bouquet and cake for our birthday surprise! Location was so convenient to the plaza and some great restaurants. Despite a very rainy weekend, we were delighted with the house! Thanks so much for hosting us.

The property was well situated close to the main square in Sonoma, about a 10 minute drive. Plenty of street parking, which is good as the driveway is very narrow with a steep entrance. Neighbors were friendly and often taking walks. House was great with 2 and a half baths, never a wait. Home was well stocked for linens and cooking needs, though we never could find a sponge. Games, puzzles and movies were available and we donated two puzzles for future guests. Info on the house and things to do in the area including dining were helpful and spot on. Best sunsets to be seen from the dining area in the evening. Plenty of lights, but missing one over the dining table and ones in the living room are not very bright, but may be our old eyes. Lovely backyard great for summer BBQ's and to hang out. Would gladly stay again and the price was really reasonable and made it possible for us to stay an extra night. Thank you for hosting us.

The Retro Retreat was the perfect location for our annual sisters' trip. Plenty of great tasting rooms minutes away in the Plaza, and it's centrally located to other great wineries and hiking trails. The property was clean and cozy. Communication with the hosts was great start to finish. We'll definitely be back!

This was a perfect spot for our family girls trip. The house was exactly as shown in their listing. It was extremely clean and well stocked. Check-in was easy and well-communicated by the owners. We agree with a former review about one of the beds though. Two were fine, but one was noisy and slightly uncomfortable. The big outside patio with multiple tables was great for relaxing after busy days. There were a lot of coffee shops and restaurants within walking distance. I would definitely stay at this place again and highly recommend it.

This is in a great location for visiting the wineries in Sonoma and Napa. Really nice patio for enjoying coffee in the mornings and wine late in the evenings.. Decor is somewhat dated but f9ts in with a 1950's cottage. The beds are queen size and noisy when turning over during the night.

This was the most well stocked rental I’ve ever rented. The pantry had everything we needed to grill except the steaks and veggies. Lots of spare towels and toiletries. A comfortable living room and bedrooms plus a wonderful outdoor space. It was convenient to Sonoma Plaza and walking distance to some great restaurants. Nights were quiet and beds were comfortable. Dave was very good about communicating with us. He even furnished poly pillows in place of feather ones to accommodate my allergies. The 2 1/2 baths makes it easy for 2 couples to get ready for the day. Would definitely stay here again next time I’m in Sonoma.
