This is a perfect family vacation house with great views of the lake! The sandy beach area is perfect for kids to play in and they have canoes, kayaks, and stand up paddle boards to enjoy! It has a nicely stocked updated kitchen that has beautiful views of the lake. The three bedrooms are small, but it has a large master off the screened in porch. The one bedroom pictured with a bunk bed is now a double trundle bed. It has a nice outdoor shower that is perfect for keeping sand outside. There’s a long dining room table for everyone to sit and enjoy a meal together while looking at the beautiful lake. There’s a little waterfall across the lake under the little bridge that is a fun canoe or kayak adventure across to the other side of the lake. There’s a restaurant called Old Orchard Place in Willsboro that has really good food. It’s a quick drive to the ferry if you want to head over to Burlington, Vermont or go to the Ben and Jerry’s Ice Cream Factory. Overall great trip!

The home, property and location are fantastic! The only negative thing i have to say is, the door knobs on the screened in area are challenging to operate. But that wouldn't deter me from renting again!

We had a phenomenal long weekend on the lake! The house had everything we needed to enjoy ourselves, and not have to lug a ton of stuff of our own with two small children. I loved having coffee each morning looking out at the bay after a restful night’s sleep. All of the bedrooms were super comfortable and even our youngest (2 1/2) slept well the majority of the time! The kitchen had everything we needed, and we appreciated not having to bring our own beach or bath towels and sheets. The recently renovated kitchen, bathrooms, and new flooring throughout were amazing! We made great use of the kayaks, the fire pit, and the Adirondack chairs! Being within walking distance to the marina made for happy adults and kids alike when we realized they served ice cream in addition to the full restaurant and bar. All of the locals couldn’t have been nicer! We drove to Essex and took the ferry to Charlotte and then drove on to Burlington for a day trip, which couldn’t have been easier. Cindy was a wonderful host! She was communicative from the start, made sure to give us heads up on everything, and even delivered extra batteries when we thought the living room remote needed a new set! Thank you for such a memorable trip!

We stayed here to celebrate my in-laws' 60th wedding anniversary, and we couldn't have been happier with the layout. This was one of the few times where the pics online weren't as good as the actual space. We weren't sure if there were 2 identical bedrooms in the main house or just different pics of one room - but there were indeed 3 separate rooms. And the bedroom across the breezeway was the perfect in-law apartment, where they could sleep with the room warm enough for their 80+ year-old bones without overheating the rest of us. It was pretty chilly outside when we were there towards the end of October, but there were plenty of high-quality space heaters and blankets. Kitchen had plenty of good knives and pots & pans, and we were very happy to eat in and watch the sunset. Beautiful spot! Thank you, Cindy, for your hospitality! We'll be back.

Four friends looking for a lovely camp property with all the amenities of a modern comfortable home and a variety of active fun things to do. History, natural beauty, kayaking, hiking, talking around campfires after gorgeous sunsets. Will have to bring my family here. The kitchen is beautifully supplied for simple or full family meals, and there’s a great gas grill, although there’s a marina restaurant within 3 minutes walk. The beds are comfy, washer and dryer are new. The host is very responsive and obviously takes great care of the property! So glad I found it and it was available!

The property was clean, comfortable and had everything we needed. The canoes and kayaks were a bonus. Usually I have had to bring my own. The separate master suite was also a wonderful feature.

What a wonderful place to stay with kids who can swim!

Relaxing setting with great views

This is a beautiful place in a great setting on the bay, and it was all as advertised, Very clean and fully equipped. We enjoyed every minute of our stay, and the owner communicated everything we needed to know, quickly, and is very helpful.

Beautiful lake house on lake Champlain. We had a beautiful weekend stay here in September. House was clean and everything was in working order. And owner was super helpful and friendly. We will definitely be back.

We went for Thanksgiving and the setting was beautiful and the house was warm and perfect for our group. All the amenities you want and need. Owner is very generous and helpful. A definite recommend.

Lovely cottage on Willsboro bay. Amazing view. Very clean, well decorated and well equipped with very comfy beds. Convenient to hiking, kayaking and relaxing nature walks. Swimming was a challenge due to wind and cold water but it was refreshing.

Met all expectations. Excellent in all respects. Master bedroom amazingly comfortable bed! Enjoyed the fire pit both evenings.

We loved the house and perfect location! We got a slip at Indian Bay marina two doors down and ate dinners there a couple of nights ! Joel and his staff at the marina were terrific! We rode bikes , boated, fished, kayaked, golfed , hiked and more. So fun and would love to come again. Cindy made everything very easy for us ! Great host!

The house is adorable! The big dining table with expansive lake views was the center of our indoor activity- eating, playing games, puzzles, talking. The outdoor area was wonderful. Sitting in the Adirondack chairs or lying on the hammock was so relaxing. We rode bikes, kayaked, tried the stand up paddle boards (with varying degrees of success!), and swam off the rocky beach. The water was cold, but we were intrepid! Bring water shoes or sandals to wear in the water as the rocks are slippery and there were sharp pieces of shell. The house is well provisioned, the beds super comfortable, great water pressure in showers. The separate master suite was wonderful. Only complaint was that the two small front bedrooms were uncomfortably hot on the few steamy nights we had. Cindy was great to deal with and responded quickly to any questions or requests.We're hoping to visit again next year!

Such a cute place to stay very clean the view is beautiful and we had a great weekend. The owner was amazing and extremely accommodating.
