My partner and I spent two glorious months at Lisa’s Beach Cottage. It is expertly equipped and comfortable and it is walking distance to everything LaJolla has to offer. Few short blocks to Windansea and Marine Beaches. 10-15 minute walk to the Village shops and restaurants and The Cove. We had a car and took many quick trips to Balboa Park attractions in San Diego and Delmar, Carlsbad and Oceanside are a short drive. We have rented many times on VRBO-Lisa was the easiest and most attentive host by far. A perfect winter vacation from New England!

The cottage is well maintained, well furnished with all the amenities and clean. It is a mere 5 min walk to the beach and nicely situated close to La Jolla Cove downtown, and shopping. The hosts are responsive and helpful with questions, suggestions. I highly recommend this property.

Excellent location within walking distance to tons of shops and restaurants. The Pacific is so close it’s visible from the driveway. Highly recommend!

Very nice cottage a short walk from the beach, restaurants, and La Jolla village. Lisa has provided everything you need for a relaxing stay in this quiet and unique San Diego neighborhood. We thoroughly enjoyed our walks to the many beautiful sights La Jolla has to offer, capped off by the incredible sunsets. All other greater San Diego sights are a fairly short drive away. A nice private yard with citrus and avocado trees adds to the enjoyment. We would return!

We stayed here for the second time! Everything was perfect. The cottage common area is quite large. The kitchen is fully equipped. The bed is very comfortable. The yard is very nice as well.

We enjoyed a wonderful stay at Lisa’s property. It was quiet, clean, well-stocked and in a great location - short walk to the beach, Windbsea, Birdrock or Pearl Street restaurants. The bed was incredibly comfortable, the outside space was a major upside. We hope to rent again soon!

Beautiful little cottage, exquisitely decorated, and with all the comforts of home. The large outdoor space equipped with barbecue, ample seating and even a hammock was an added bonus, and very private. Love the location being only a short walk from the beach and great restaurants, and having a dedicated, easily accessible parking space was a huge plus. Spent 5 weeks here and thoroughly enjoyed every second. Lisa is an amazing host! Not only did she respond promptly to all of my questions, she also made helpful suggestions as regards eating places, coffee shops etc. I am already looking for excuses to come back!

The place is wonderful. Great quiet neighborhood just a few blocks from the beach, stores & restaurants. Very nicely laid out and well equipped with everything you need and very comfortable for two people. The outdoor space is wonderful and makes the stay really special.

my place in La Jolla

We booked Lisa's place in La Jolla for a month in January to skip the East Coast winter. The house is in a nice and quiet neighborhood only 5 minutes walk up the street from the beautiful blue pacific ocean. One of our daily pleasures was walking on the dramatic majestic La Jolla coastline, watching the sunset, having coffee on the beach, all 5 minutes from the house. The center of the town with its many restaurants, shops, markets, was only 10 minutes walk. The house itself was very comfortable and welcoming and we immediately made it our home away from home. I can't say enough about the pleasure of having the small garden with the oranges and lemons trees, to enjoy having breakfast, dinner, bbq, or just relaxing, reading a book on the lounges. Communication with Lisa was easy, accomodating, and helpful. We were very very sad to leave and hoping to be able to come back. Thank you Lisa for sharing your beautiful house with us. Very new and bright with modern furnishings. Outdoor area has a hammock, lounges, and a sectional with firepit. Easy to find, easy to park, convenient walking to beach & to gorgeous surrounding neighborhoods. Convenient to grocery store & restaurants. Designed very spaciously for a 1 bedroom cottage.

We had amazing stay here and enjoyed the convenience of walking everywhere …. The beach, village, and restaurants. Lisa’s home was well equipped with everything and extremely comfortable and quiet ! Highly recommend this lovely beach cottage !

We come to La Jolla about 2 to 3 times a year. Everything about this property was perfect. The location was great. The property itself was clean and the bed was comfortable. When we come again, we will defend stay there if it’s available.

Overall it was a great stay. The only suggestion would be that the living room furniture need to upgraded as little cushion remains in existing pieces.

The directions to get to the place were completely wrong and sometimes the host wouldn't pick up. However, overall the property is in a very good location and I loved the house (super spacious).

We had such a perfect time at this sweet beach cottage. The pack n play was so incredibly helpful too with our 6 month old! We had such a blast - thank you so much!!!!

Always a great place to stay. Beautiful backyard and wonderful location.

Nice weather in southern CA for our winter vacation. Cottage had a few problems with lights not working and some burned-out bulbs, both inside and outside. The furniture is a bit uncomfortable and could use an upgrade. Although the bed is very good. Overall, best suited for shorter stays. Gate at front of property had lock reactivated during our stay and we were not informed that that work was being done, and we were not given the gate's lock code. Communication for this would have been appreciated. The wifi password in the stay instructions document we were given was wrong, too. Hopefully, these things will be corrected.

Wonderful place for a couple. Very well equipped with all machines. Very charming place and comfortable and the backyard give a good well being with fruits and a sunny

Awesome space with the best bed Ive ever slept in. No kidding. AC APPRECIATED ON SOME HOT DAYS! Beautiful yard and EASY walk to the best beach in La Jolla, Windansea. Lovely, million dollar friendly, safe neighborhood! Close to everything!! Go enjoy!! You won’t be sorry. I stayed three months!!

Lisa is perfect and so is her cottage. We loved it just as we always did before! It was our third time at the cottage. Wonderful location: short walk to the beautiful windansea beach and its magical sunset, to restaurants, Vons, etc. The place is always new, since Lisa is always attentive to every detail. You will find all necessary appliances- possibly more than you think you would need. The bed is gorgeous, everything is very clean and organize. Hoping to be back soon!

Very enjoyable stay!

This is our second year staying here and everything was great. Location and amenities are outstanding.

We have stayed in this beautiful cottage before and love it's tranquility. It has a private entrance into a large and beautifully landscaped yard and garden. The large and open kitchen/den/dining nook and elevated ceiling makes it feel quite spacious. The single bedroom with a California king bed is very comfortable. All of the furnishings are well done and quality. There are lovely sitting areas in the garden and a yummy hammock for relaxing. We are close to the beach and center of La Jolla old town. We will book again!
