Clean, cosy and well equipped. Spacious rooms and enclosed garden which gave our dog the freedom to run around. Would highly recommend.

We’ve just had the most relaxing long weekend. Location was superb quiet but close to all amenities. Dog friendly with a truely secure walled garden. Would definitely consider staying again.

Loved this cottage.
Loved this cottage. It was lovely and clean and in an excellent state of repair. The external picture does not do it justice. Inside it is beautifully laid out and has a nice cosy feel. We have stayed at many cottages and this is probably has the best lay out and appropriate room sizes. It is the edge of Clay Cross which has everything you are likely to need. It is not in the Peak District but there are plenty of walks on the doorstep. The owners kindly provided us with secure storage for our cycles we took with us. The garden is secure for you dog should you take one. No complaints, would recommend it and would consider returning.

Excellent cottage. Comfortable, well presented and well equipped with a truly secure garden which meant we could worry less that our dog would escape! Would highly recommend.

Cottage was great. Clean and well equipped. Enclosed garden was super. Only down side was the poor welcome pack and no contact from the owners all week. Not even a phone call to ask if everything was okay

Fantastic barn
Lovely little cottage in great location. Clean and tidy and well equipped. Felt very cosy. Rooms are a good size. Short drive to shops and places to eat. Would definitely recommend this place and would come again.

Nice cottage, fantastic garden for the dog. Good holiday all in all. Close enough to explore lots of lovely areas of the peaks but whilst the cottage is up a lane, it quite near the built up more induatrial areas. A few more items in the welcome pack would be a nice touch.

Good base for exploring the area, visiting National Trust properties , the garden was excellent for our little dog with it being enclosed, owners were very friendly and helpful. Could do with a few more towels of better quality but overall a good cottage.

This cottage is a little gem.
This cottage is a little gem. Credit to the owners for the comfort and cleanliness this place offers. A big plus was the secure back garden which was ideal for the dog being able to be safely let off his lead to enjoy the outside.

Really lovely cottage, in a great location.
Really lovely cottage, in a great location. In easy reach of the national park and had lovely drives exploring from this great base. Would highly recommend as the price we paid was really reasonable too

A lovely peaceful location and a super cottage for our weekend break. Fully enclosed garden for our young dog and walks from the doorstep. Would definitely recommend and return. NB there was no washing up liquid, hand soap, kitchen roll and bath towels are very small.
