Location! Location! Location! This house is beautiful! We were in town for a family funeral. Everyone had their own space with multiple gathering spots for family. Kathleen was easy to communicate with. I highly recommend this house.

I’m reluctant to boost this place too much because last time I did it became unavailable for my groups annual trip but it deserves it, and an update so here goes. My second time staying here now, an annual trip I take with college friends. The place is just wonderful, and huge. Modern touch to everything, the bathrooms are flawless, the bedrooms are clean, large, beautiful views, and new. It’s been 8 years since renovation but I can’t stress enough how new it feels, very modern. Updates since my last 5 star visit: There’s another (third) kayak and I think the canoe is newer. They got a very big comfy couch in the living room, which now has a giant tv in it. The couches that were there are now in the back den with a recliner as well, making it easier for a bigger crowd to watch tv in there with the benefit of a wall of windows looking out on the lake. But the best is that they took the couch from the den and put it in the basement/game room so now that’s become a really good place to hang, ply ping pong, and pool and watch something on the tv at the same time. Previously it had pretty uncomfortable seating. Finally, the basement used to have an old bed, now it has two new kids beds so it’s a great place for kids to stay. Also there’s a keyboard if you want to put on a show. Long story short, you can’t go wrong with this place just please don’t book it when I want to go back lol

Great accommodations! Plenty of room to gather and relax. The house is in a quiet neighborhood with a private beach. There is a well stocked kitchen and a spare refrigerator. Views are stunning, especially the sunrises. We did a lot of bike riding in the area and in Vermont.

We have stayed at this beautiful house on Lake Champlain many times . We love it here! The house has many wonderful bedrooms, several with gorgeous views of the lake. I have two favorite rooms here, one being the sun porch with comfortable seating for reading and drinking coffee in the morning. My second favorite spot is the lovely deck. This spot is perfect for relaxing in the evening while watching the ever changing lake scenery.

We took a family trip to the Adirondacks and used this house as our home base. The house was as great as the photos suggest, but even more spacious than you might think. If you’re tempted to bring your boat, go for it. One recommendation for those with toddlers - bring a baby gate. It’ll come in handy on the deck, but could also be useful in the house.

House on the lake with a great view.
This house was perfect for our family of eight. Plenty of beds and baths. Lovely deck with comfortable seats, a nice grill and a sunroom for morning and evening reading and games. The kitchen had everything we needed except dish towels. One bedroom had no shades and the morning sun did not allow for sleeping in. Enjoyed the beach and the kayaks. We would stay here again

A great property
We had lots of room for 3 generations. The teens enjoyed the basement games and could be noisy without disturbing conversations upstairs. Lots of bedrooms and bathrooms gave everyone space. We found the property to be clean and well equipped including thoughtful holiday decorations. The host was very responsive to questions. It was everything we hoped for!

Amazing house on the Lake Champlain
The house and view of the lake were amazing. House has many kind of games indoor and outdoor water activities. We would have enjoyed more if there were no rain on our trip. You will require car travel to get grocery. Lots of seating areas both inside and out. We would be happy to book next year summer. Thank you so much for our wonderful stay.

Awesome Lakeside Retreat!
This home is fantastic! The location is perfect - right on the lake with an awesome deck with comfortable furniture. The sleeping accommodations are ample (6 bedrooms, 2 with en suite bathrooms) and beds are comfortable. The kitchen is stocked with all cooking utensils, cookware, dinner ware. Smart TVs (x5!) available in common areas and some bedrooms. The home, linen and kitchenware were clean and organized. The owner is responsive and so helpful. Can't think of one bad thing to say. We had a fantastic time!! Would highly recommend!

Wonderful Lakehouse Experience
House was clean, comfortable, and spacious enough to accommodate our 3-generation extended family. Location on the waterfront with canoe/kayaks available from the dock and a sandy beach only a short distance away provided sufficient entertainment to keep all happily entertained. Not much communication was required with owner, because all was in order, but she was pleasant and responsive, when necessary. Views from the house and yard are sublime. All in all, a wonderful experience and highly recommended.

Great Graduation Celebration
We had our family up for our sons graduation from grad school at SUNY Plattsburgh. The home was spacious and comfortable and close to campus. We enjoyed going to the local brewery and hanging on the deck and taking in the beautiful views of the lake and Vermont. Beautiful home and location

Perfect!
This Lake Champlain house was the perfect spot for our family group of 13 to celebrate our 50th anniversary. The house itself is spacious, lovely and well equipped. The view of the lake and the distant Green Mountains of Vermont was striking. Nearby activities abound. And owner Kathleen is most helpful and accommodating. We hope to return one day!

The ping pong table and the pool table came in handy on the one rainy day we had. Everything we needed was in the house.I would go back especially if i had to host more than 6 people. Blessing beyond disguise!
First in for most we’d like to express our since gratitude to the owner of this property for being so generous and letting us stay for four weeks at a very reasonable price when we all knew she could charge a lot more and get it. Thank you. This home met all of our needs… Every single one of them! We actually hated to leave because we still have eight weeks here in Plattsburgh. The owner was very responsive to every question and every single concern as was the property manager who lives in the vicinity. I am certain that we left the house cleaner than when we arrived. We 100% percent would stay again if we ever needed to visit social level.
