A wonderful property in a stunning location which I hope to return to.
A wonderful property in a stunning location which I hope to return to. I didn't feel intruded upon and found it peaceful and relaxing. It felt like a home from home; very comfortable, good and easily controllable central heating/hot water with lovely modern bathrooms with good showers. A well equipped modern kitchen (thank you for having sharp knives, unlike a lot of other properties!). All in all, a high quality of accommodation with a lovely feeling of spaciousness and light.
The large windows and patio door give you uninterrupted views towards and over Loch Ness with the mountains around you. The large decked terrace makes sitting out a delight. In my opinion, the website photos of the views don't do it justice but it's hard sometimes to truly capture things as they are when you're actually there; plus the unexpected wonders of nature that pop up especially when the weather is in changeable mode. The sun rising/setting is really beautiful.
Excellent communication from the very friendly and welcoming owners who were happy to help if needed. I didn't need anything as I didn't experience any problems with the lodge but I felt happy and assured that they were local and available easily.
Thanks to Jane & Scott for renting out their property and giving people the opportunity to stay in such a wonderful place.

Absolut ruhige Lage, 10 Minuten Fußweg bis zur Schleusentreppe in Fort Augustus, großartiger Blick durch die verglaste Front und von der Terrasse auf die Berge. 3 Jahre alter Holzbungalow, sehr sauber und gepflegt, liebevolles 'Willkommen' der Gastgeber. Persönliche Schlüsselübergabe. Ein Ort, an dem man gerne wieder Urlaub machen möchte.
