There was room for us to spread out and so many fun things to do on property. Our group absolutely loved dressing up for Dickens and taking photos on the front porch. We had so much fun... its the perfect place!

My family and I LOVE this house! We've been twice and will definitely be back! Great for seeing the sights or just for staying at home!

Amazing stay. First and foremost the house is beautiful. And the pirates cave is amazing. Lots of games and music downstairs. The owner was checking in on us everyday making sure if we needed anything. 10/10 will be staying here again very soon

We thoroughly enjoyed Captain Mike's pirate cave. Many many hands of poker (that I mostly lost), pool table matches (again I mostly lost), and a great environment to enjoy our family gathering and sweet 16 birthday party for my niece. Mike was always available and stayed in contact thoughtout our stay. The property had everything we needed to enjoy our vacation. Thanks Mike!

Our friends and I stayed here over the weekend and at first we are looking forward to our stay, but upon arrival we were blown away at how much better this place was in person, than in the pictures online. Not only is the host super amazing and has practically everything you need there for your stay, he definitely went above and beyond furnishing the home and it definitely shows. Go ahead and confirm your booking, you definitely won’t regret it!

Mike was extremely helpful through your stay and felt very comfortable and authentic to the area. Our guys loved the man cave and enjoyed every day.

My 17 year old daughter and her friends wanted to go to Galveston for a couple of days of spring break. We found this house and it was a real nice surprise when we walked through front door. The pictures didn’t really do it justice. It was clean and very homey, and so much room! The owners were really awesome and so responsive. Always quick to get back to you.

The house was wonderful and Capt. Mike’s pirate cave was the best. We always had something going on. Foosball, dart and ping pong tournaments all weekend. The location was awesome and our host was gracious throughout.

In general, the house is nice and clean, good location, great game room. Unfortunately, the master bedroom seems to have bedbugs, we ended up with bites and we are afraid they traveled in our clothes and luggage .

Perfect for Thanksgiving. We have a large family and rented this house so everyone could fit in one spot. Mike was awesome to work with and provided and excellent experience.

We could not have found a more perfect place to host our wedding reception! No detail was missed and we had everything we needed and more. From the back yard and comfortable bedrooms to the pirate cave and endless games, it was a BLAST! Mike was the BEST host and even met us to see the house in advance of the event which really helped us in planning. Our entire group loved it and the location couldn’t be more convenient with quick access to the beach and Strand. 10/10 would recommend for any large party trip or event in Galveston!!!

Absolutely outstanding location and the games and man cave give kids so much to do adults can enjoy themselves fully as well. Would definitely recommend to any big group and I will 100% be back.

We had a large variety of ages and interests, and we were universally happy with the stay. The teens and pre-teens loved the pirate cave. Adults enjoyed the great location and space. Overall a wonderful family gathering!

This house really was all around amazing our family especially loved the cave and all the games you had and it’s proximity to pleasure pier.

Fun setup for calm and quiet or rough and rowdy while neither type disturbing the other. Great communication with the owner (i.e., informative and prompt in responses). Pretty much anything we needed was available in the home. Overall, great experience and I'd definitely return ro this property in the future if I find myself in the neighborhood again.

I celebrated my 30th birthday at Broadway Palms over the past weekend with my family and friends, and I have absolutely no complaints!!! The house exceeded my expectations from start to finish my guests enjoyed themselves as well!!! Great communication with property owner. We surely will be back.Truly had a great weekend

The property was perfect for our family. Lots of room to get together to hang out and the game rooms downstairs had fun times for competitive siblings. Close to both the beach and downtown areas.

This was the perfect place to stay in Galveston to chaperone for prom. Plenty of space and one huge awesome man cave/ entertainment space. Such an historic beauty!

Definitely will be renting from Captain Mike again! This is the best house! There is so much to do here, that we didn't even leave the house! Owner was super nice and responded to messages instantly!

We stayed here for spring break. There was 11 of us total so plenty of places to sleep. We had a 1 year old with us, Captain Mike had a high chair and baby gates for the stairs which was great. Now let’s get to the best part which is down stairs. The place to hang out if you don’t want to go around town or want to stay in for the night. There was a pool table, foosball table, darts, poker table, craps table and ping-pong. He also provides things for the beach and adult size bikes to ride. I would definitely recommend and will go back in the future! Thanks Captain Mike for the great experience!

Love the character, details & pride that Mike put into this house. The history, the decor, the themed rooms, the Pirate Cave, the backyard Flamingo lounge… all incredible! Close location to everything. Mike is a wonderful Host. His response on any questions was quick….very helpful. One of the best Hosts ever! Will definitely be back!

The house was roomy enough for our entire extended family, and it was such a joy for the kids and adults to play together in Captain Mike's Pirate Cave in between visits to the beach and the strand. We will definitely be back!

This was my first experience renting a home instead of a hotel. As soon as the reservation was made, Mike reached out and asked a few questions about the visit. Up until the visit, Mike texted information about area activities. The week leading up to the visit, Mike texted information about the home and suggested local eateries. Mike was quick to answer questions during the week leading to the visit and during the visit. The home was spacious and beautiful. There was plenty of room in the home to where we weren't "on top of each other". The kitchen was fully equipped (although we didn't cook during our stay), the bathrooms were stocked with necessities, and the Pirate's Cave was awesome. The backyard was nice. The home was minutes from the seawall, restaurants, and shopping. The only negative about the stay was the parking. There is parking in front of the home which was on a busy street and parking on the side of the home. We will defiantly be renting this home again.
