Front house not kept well. open dog door with Pitt bull resident not great. No return phone call from host when having trouble with heater.Blinking light over sink. Couldn’t take a bath in clawfoot tub. Heater instructions would be nice. Accommodation and cottage was great.

We fell in love with this beautiful little cottage. Coming back each day was a delight. You can't help loving the charm of this home. And it has everything you need for a comfortable stay. Very clean and well equipped. It's the perfect place to rest and relax.

Very Quiet and fun. We had a very relaxing time.

The area is stunning if you like to enjoy nature and its colors, the proximity of the ocean...Contrary to what we may have thought at first, there are definitely nice things to do in the area even in December. The cottage was perfect for what we needed. Some minor renovations here and there would most likely make it even better.

This was an awesome cottage; beautiful in furnishings, decorations and layout. Although this time of the year was chilly the home is very well insulated and kept us nice and warm. I didn't cook but the kitchen is complete with an outdoor BBQ as well! I had excellent correspondence with Thomas who was a wonderful and gracious host. Hope to visit again soon!

Charming cottage. Perfect location to walk to nature preserves. Easy quick drive to Morro Bay and to multiple hiking locations. Very responsive host. We will book again. Great neighborhood.

We enjoyed learning about the area. Los Osos-Baywood Park. Having stayed in Morro Bay before, this was different but nice. Only one place open for early breakfast...was good!

1. There are NO window coverings - it can get very light in the early morning before 6:30 am and there is a sky light over the bed that lets in lots of light. 2. The claw foot bath sides are high and is difficult with lack of supports. 3. The left side light over the bed needs to be repair. 4. The TV needs repairing - the sound will work for 1 to 5 minutes then stops - to restore the sound you have to change the channel - wait 30 seconds then turn back to the original channel. Otherwise it was nice stay.

My husband, son and I enjoyed the airy space at this little cottage. It was comfortable for us. My son is pretty easygoing and didn’t mind the foldout futon couch bed. The location of this place is perfectly located. We were running the Rock Around the Pier race in Morro Bay and were just a short 10 minutes from the race start location. The front porch area was great for relaxing after the race. Thanks so much Brian.

What is stunning little cottage! it comes with every amenity down to nail polish remover. We were so absolutely comfortable here and cannot wait to return.! The front of the property was a little lackluster, but the cottage is in the back and it is perfect. Thank you to our wonderful hosts!

This cottage was perfect for the three of us! Communication was great with the owner and although it’s in a residential neighborhood, the cottage was nestled on the back of the property with lots of privacy!

A little concerned when we originally found the location. The cottage is located behind a rental house that could use some work. However, the cottage it’s self is charming, exceptionally clean and private (if you get past the fact that there are no window coverings). We enjoyed our stay and the convenience of being able to walk to the wonderful casual restaurants in Baywood Park.

Property was exactly as posted and located in a great little community close to a great restaurant, perfect for a short stay for my family. Owner was incredibly helpful and quick to communicate!

There was a little bit of a hiccup getting there and into the property, but it was made right immediately. The cottage was incredibly charming and clean. It had everything you could need. There was a cute little outdoor area that we enjoyed. Cute neighborhood too!

Very quiet, serene cottage. Loved its location in Baywood. Great neighborhood for walking. I felt very safe. Would love to visit this area again! As mentioned in a previous review, I would add curtains for privacy. Kudos to the family living in the front house. They were so quiet, I never even knew they were there! I would definitely recommend staying in this cottage.

Well located just a few blocks from the thriving uptown neighborhood of Baywood. We easily staggered home one wee small hour after trivia night at the local bar. Unit gives off welcoming and cozy shabby beach chic vibe and decor. Super comfy king bed and linens. No real stove and oven but otherwise the kitchen is well stocked with everything we needed to make our avocado toast every morning and a skillet dinner a couple of nights.

I couldn’t get the heat to work. Instructions or perhaps a new battery would have helped. The coffee pot doesn’t work with the k cups. It made coffee colored tea.

This little cottage was perfect for a weekend getaway with my spouse. Great location by Morro Bay, many beautiful hikes a short drive away, and, of course, don't miss an upclose view of Morro Rock and a stroll downtown.

Charming, well equipped, comfortable and peaceful. Perfect get-away for a retreat or for relaxation after a day of exploring all the beauty of the area. I will definitely make this a regular get-away!!

Convenient and cozy!

The pictures don’t do it justice! This is the cutest, most adorable cottage ever! Tucked away behind another house, it feels secluded and private. It is surrounded by beautiful gardens and has quaint country cottage furnishings. The host has thought of everything we needed for our stay. It has a delightful little kitchen with everything you need to cook a nice small meal, including a selection of spices. TV, music system, books, WiFi, board games are there. The bed was super comfortable, and the pullout futon was perfect for my teenager. The claw foot tub was adorable and the gas woodstove did a great job heating the whole place quickly. Due to bad weather, we were unable to enjoy the delightful outside spaces, but we plan to come back when the weather is nicer. We highly recommend this little cottage. The host was easy to work with and the location is within walking distance of shops, restaurants and ocean.

Returning again to this wonderful and quaint cottage in a garden. Quiet, private, comfortable. Will stay here whenever possible when visiting the area.

I originally booked this place for 3 nights and ended up staying for almost a whole week! The cottage is extremely well stocked and clean. Exceptional host! I look forward to visiting again.

Great place. Very private and cozy. I would highly recommend it and looking forward to book it in the near future. I recommend making the street number easier to read during the night. We arrived lat night and it was a little difficult to read the street number on the mailbox. But overall, I would give it a well deserved 5 star.

Overall, a good place to stay. Be aware that there are no street lights, so if you arrive after dark, make sure you have the instructions that the owner will send to you on how to access the cottage, as it is behind a house. The cottage is quite small at 400 sq ft. The pictures make it seem larger. Also, several of the online pictures are not current. The cottage has all the basic things needed. Kitchen has the necessary small appliances such as a keurig type coffeemaker, water kettle, microwave, toaster oven, hot plate, dorm fridge. The bathroom was well stocked with towels, soap, shampoo, toilet paper, etc. I did have to contact the owner on how to dispose of garbage and recyclables as we did not know if we were allowed to use the front rental house's receptacles. A folder with such info inside the cottage would be helpful. Also, know that there is a lack of comfortable chairs for sitting. There is outdated wicker furniture and a wooden bench at the foot of the bed. The location is convenient for trips to Pismo and Avila Beach, Morro Bay, Cambria, and other nearby towns. There are also numerous hiking trails in the area. The bay is 1/2 mile away (easily walkable), where you will also find several restaurants. We only tried Beerwood and Noi's. Both were good and prices were reasonable.
