This was our first visit to the Moro Bay area and we found the perfect place from which to explore and enjoy all the bay has to offer. The cottage was very clean, comfortable and stocked with anything you could wish for. The bed was comfy and the kitchen great to work in. The deck, with its spectacular views of the bay, was an amazing spot to wake up to each morning and return to each evening. From the cottage we were able to easily explore the beautiful beaches, many of the nature parks and quaint towns along the coast. It was tough to say good bye after only 3 nights but we hope to return to The Green Cottage soon! Thanks for sharing your special home!

Perfect for a quiet getaway.

My husband and I wanted a special vacation experience to celebrate our 50th Anniversary. Our two week stay in the Green Cottage turned out to be the perfect choice. The cottage is immaculate, comfortable, very well stocked and aesthetically interesting because of the eclectic decor and interesting collection of family heirlooms and art collections. But the best part is the view of the back bay, visible from every room. The owner, Pandora and her property manager, Sioux were responsive and provided several special touches that made our stay a complete success. We plan to return next year.

We loved watching the tide go in and out of the bay each day; we loved watching the birds and the raccoons feed at low tide. The shower was a bit small for us. However, the cottage had a very eclectic, homey overall feel to it. We loved being surrounded by precious art and antiques; we loved just hanging out there.

Location, location, location. If you like kayaking, hiking and biking - this is your dream place. You can pull your boat into the water every day in a few seconds. Montana de Oro is a few minutes away for the rest. Walk to some great restaurants and bakery in Baywood. This is not a modern home, but an old cottage; basically a studio with an old fashioned kitchen as described. If that’s okay with you, then this is the spot.

Wonderful location and amazing host. This is the place you want to rent if you want to relax and connect again. Very clean and awesome bed. You will never want to leave.

From the minute we parked the car, I knew we had picked the perfect getaway! Celebrating our 42 year anniversary! We walked into this beautiful, adorable and decorated fabulously! My husband loved sitting on the deck, while I served him a glass of wine! Hee! Hee! We felt so relaxed and at home!

My husband and I booked the Green Cottage for a 4-night getaway from the heat of Las Vegas and the sameness of staying at home. We were sold by the location on the water, detailed description and great photos. Well, nothing could possibly compare with actually entering the purple door and experiencing what has to be one of the cutest, cleanest, and most wonderfully equipped (move-in ready) VRBOs. The cottage is the perfect size for two adults. The king-size bed is comfortable; the eclectic decorations are tasteful; the kitchen, pantry and grill are ready for seaside cooking; and the deck is the perfect place to spend mornings and evenings watching sunrises, sunsets and shorebirds over coffee or cocktails. Despite its diminutive size, the Green Cottage feels open and inviting. The property is squeaky clean, inside and out. Pandora and Gary are clearly proud (and protective) of the absolutely wonderful Green Cottage on Morro Bay--we will be back!

Pandora and her property were magical. The cottage was everything it was advertised to be and more! I can't rave about it enough. Pandora, our host, thought about every last detail. (and she was so available and helpful). This is not just a place to stay. Instead, it is a get away/a retreat unto itself. We will definitley be back!

I'm pretty picky about traveling - I'm the type of person who always asks to move hotel rooms because of dust, noise, etc. This place is not only immaculately clean but the PERFECT vacation getaway. The little cottage sits right on the bay so you can take your laptop, breakfast, coffee right out on to the patio and it feels like you have the WHOLE bay to yourself. It's the perfect size for 2-3 people who are looking to hide away from the city for a weekend. Pandora is also the most wonderful host - she anticipates your needs before you yourself even become aware of them! This place is definitely bookmarked as a treasure.

More than a place to stay, this cottage is a work of art. It is both thoughtfully designed and intuitively appointed - everything you might need is right where you think it should be. The decor is an eclectic mix that invokes calm and curiosity. The table/housewares are a well-curated collection worthy of a lifetime. The supplemental information provided was comprehensive (bravo to the binders!) and the place was immaculate. The bed wasn't the most comfortable ever but that must be by design - I don't think people would vacate otherwise ... because of the VIEW! The most spectacular view of the Bay can be enjoyed in seeming seclusion. The neighborhood is so quiet and, being situated between the bird reserve and the local 'Artists Garden', the Green Cottage is a gem in the treasure trove of California's Coasts. Truly one of the best vacations of my life, I would go back again in a heartbeat. Thank you for sharing your corner of bliss. PS My 6'4" husband did manage to bump his head on the sloping ceiling a number of times but even that was charming. Well-played, Green Cottage. Well-played. "DUCK!!!(S)"
