Nice room, comfy bed. The host cleans the room every day and thats very nice.

I was surprised by a veeery weak water flow in the bathroom, i could barely wash my hair. One thing was a bit uncomfortable - there are two rooms in the house, but also the host and a friend of the host were using the kitchen so we had to wait for them every day, to be able to prepare our own meal. The neighbourhood is really nice, but we needed 1 hour to the downtown by coletivo, then we rented bikes to get there faster but the road was so bumpy it didnt work out.

L'appartement est situé très loin du centre et du terminal de bus ADO. Bien qu'il soit dans une zone résidentielle et calme, il faut 45 min pour atteindre l'aéroport ou le centre. Lorsque nous sommes arrivées dans la chambre, la clim ne fonctionnait pas. Nous avons dormi dans une chambre où il faisait 35⁰ et avec une serviette mouillée sur nous pour nous rafraîchir. Une seule serviette de bain était à disposition alors que nous étions 2. J'ai tenté de contacter le/la propriétaire, uniquement joignable par message et n'acceptait pas de me rencontrer ou mes appels. Bref, à fuir, le prix "bas" ne justifie pas n'importe quel service.

Easy to find and good instructions provided. The shopping mall is just a few minutes walking. The shower was really good with hot water.

The place wasn't very clean. The kitchen utensils are very old and there is no microwave.

- Safe location, in a "coto" or gated community, close to Soriana, Oxxos, bus stop, taco stands, restaurants etc. - Very clean - Easy "check-in" with fantastic communication from the host, who sent useful information about the area etc. - Fridge, stove, cutlery etc. - Air conditioning and fan - Good value for money

- The bed isn't the most comfortable - I didn't realise when booking that it was a shared bathroom with another guest who was staying downstairs. It wasn't a problem for us, we just didn't realise beforehand

Improvements just upgrade small appliances.

Host answers quick and has a lot of recommendations. There is a big supermarket nearby and the cillectivo stops nearby. Fridge is big.

No drinking water included. The apartment is located quite outside of cancun. So long ways to the beach/ado. (But ok with the collectivo)

I had a great time staying at Casa el Limonero. It’s located in a beautiful, quiet neighbourhood, just what I needed in a busy city like Cancun.

I understand this is a very cheap accommodation but the room was not super clean with some stains on the sheets, some hair, and even a spider crawling from underneath the cover. Recommend for cheapest option if you have a flight to catch and need to spend a few hours of the night somewhere. Bathroom was nice.
