Stayed here with my family for a nice relaxing long weekend. Great location close to shopping and lots of great restaurants! Vanderbilt beach was our favorite and sunsets were amazing. Great spot!!

The complex itself is adorable. Beautiful, well maintained grounds with the community pool overlooking the dock and ocean. Two cute little beaches but not really for swimming in the ocean but that is true for most Florida Keys beaches. Having access to the kayaks and paddleboards was a great amenity! Multigenerational guests in the complex, which was lovely to see. Overall, the house was clean and updated. Although the amount of those little black bait stations for pests in the home was quite off-putting, but I do understand it can be the nature of coastal properties. The sofa and linens are quite tired and in need of refreshing (a lot of pilling/stains on the sofa & bed sheets, unfortunately). The main negative though, is this house backs up to the highway which is very busy & incredibly loud. Especially for the primary bedroom and back porch. If you're hoping for a quiet night's sleep and hope to sit outside on the back porch for a peaceful morning coffee or dinner, this is not the house for you. We were so disappointed in how loud the highway noise was for this house- at all hours of the day. Even earplugs and noise cancelling headphones didn't conceal the traffic noise while trying to sleep. But, the actual townhouse was great and the location of the community within Islamorada is unbeatable, close to everything. We would definitely come back to this community but only to rent one of the homes closer to the water, where it was noticeably more quiet.

We thoroughly enjoyed our visit to Angler's Reef and Islamorada. The property is quaint and beautiful. The use of Kayaks was a plus for our family. The pool got quite busy and there often were not enough chairs but that didn't bother us as we made it work. There are many great locations to eat nearby. Overall we really enjoyed our stay. The home was lovely.

We were blown away by how amazing this place was. The neighborhood was so well maintained, and the atmosphere was extremely relaxing and inviting. We loved having access to paddle boards and kayaks and the pool was a must as well.

Home away from home!
This property was exactly as described. The angler's reef area was great! We could easily walk to the other houses, beach, pool and dock. Everything on the property was beautiful. The house was stocked with everything you could need. We will certainly look for this property again if we visit Anglers Reef next year.

Fantastic place!
The house was very clean and as advertised and the property manager was prompt and helpful in all correspondence and was accommodating due to our early arrival. The pool was great with a wonderful view of the ocean. The location is so great and I liked that it was in a gated community. I would definitely stay here again on my next visit to Islamorada!

The property was clean and the listing accurate. It was a very comfortable home in a cute neighborhood. The pool was awesome. There were some sand areas to sit by the water. Typical keys beach. Don’t expect swimming in the ocean. Would come back again.

Great place for a relaxing vacation!
We stayed here in July with our 3 teenage kids for a family vacation. The house is beautiful and accurately represented in the photos. Very clean and well cared for. Plenty of room for a family of 5. It included use of two kayaks (one tandem and one single) and two paddle boards. The property also is well maintained and the pool is large and has plenty of seating for all. The Property Manager was very accessible and accommodating, ready with recommendations for things to do as well as restaurants in the area. She also helped us with making reservations for a charter boat fishing trip. Located close to shopping, restaurants, and marinas. A great location overall. This was our first experience using VRBO and we's stay here again if we came back.

Charming Key West style house in ocean-front village setting
Had a lovely stay at the Blue Marlin house. The gated community has a small village feel and is well kept with lovely landscaping. We had fun trying the paddle boards, enjoyed the pool immensely and visited several good restaurants during our stay. Islamorada is a good central location for visiting other keys, too.

Our stay was amazing. The home was clean, and had everything we needed. The pool was beautiful. The bikes, paddle board and kayaks were great to have. The house was close to great restaurants and activities. Jennifer was always there for us when we had any questions, and responded immediately. Definitely would recommend this home!

Holiday in Islamorada
Anglers Reef is a perfect place to have relaxing holiday. Area is beautiful and you have many options to relax by pool, kayaking or take a boat trip to sandbar or coral reefs to spend a day. Residents in Anglers Reefs were helpful and we got plenty of good tips where to go e.g. dinner. As said there is plenty of different options to have dinner and most of restaurants in the area were great. House was clean and spacious to recover all day activities. Both bedrooms were roomy, but we noticed that 2nd bedroom mattress was bit out of shape. It was bit tricky to get sleep when mattress is sunken between sleepers. All holidays will end in some point but you can always come back.

Fabulous!
We absolutely loved Blue Marlin and Angler’s Reef and cannot wait to return! Jennifer was amazing to work with and very responsive to all our questions. The house was perfect for our family of three teenage daughters, and had everything we needed: plenty of space to relax, a fully stocked kitchen to cook indoors (when we weren’t enjoying some of the wonderful nearby restaurants), comfortable bedrooms and living areas, and lovely landscaping. This is the only place we’ll consider for our next trip to the Keys.

WOW - What an amazing place!
What a great find! We have just got back from 1 week here (family of 2 adults & 4 teenagers) Although our visit was just after hurricane Irma, this place looked great with no evidence of any damage. Everything was immaculately presented from the pool, general grounds, beach area and the house was stunning. In fact, the bed is probably the most comfy bed I have ever slept in! There was evidence of hurricane damage along the Overseas highway, but you could see how hard people were working to clear this. Don't let Irma put you off visiting here - it is an amazing place. Booking was really easy and the photos don't really do it justice - the house felt much bigger than the photos lead you to believe. Jennifer was really helpful as we left some British pounds/Euros in the house, and she very kindly went to check and has posted it to us in the UK. Just worth a mention, a massive highlight of the stay here was seeing a couple of manatees every day by the boat dock and swimming out by the beach. Would highly recommend this place and hope to come back soon

AWESOME! October 2017
We stayed at Anglers Reef 2 weeks after hurricane Irma. We were in Islamarada for our daughter's wedding. Even though Irma had arrived as an uninvited guest,we enjoyed Anglers Reef. Jennifer, the property manager was so attentive and made sure that our stay was magnificient! She responded immediately to any questions either by phone or e-mail. The house was beautiful! They have thought of everything! From extra bath towels to beach towels, a Keurig, 10 cup coffee maker and even games and puzzles for the little ones.
The grounds at Anglers Reef has some damage from the salt water but everything was cleaned up. The docks had been damaged but work had begun to have them back up and available. The beach was also being worked on but we were still able to access it to walk down to the water. We were so amazed on how quickly everything was being repaired! The pool was open! The oceanview from the pool was so beautiful! We are looking forward to returning to Anglers Reef. Wonderful community! You can't go wrong staying at Anglers Reef! Relaxing, Relaxing!

My family and I loved staying at Anglers Reef and loved this house. it had everythhing we needed and the Property manager was great. The house was super clean and had the most comfortable mattressess, we slept like babies. This house was amazing!
The house was clean, and very updated. We enjoyed our stay in this house because it was exactly what it looked like online. We did not have to buy salt and pepper or sugar or spices because the homeowner was kind enough to have those things available. The coffee maker was stacked well with coffee as well. The bed was super comfortable and we enjoyed good night sleep to be ready to go on fun adventures. The property manager left a very detailed list of favorite spots to eat. We went out on the boat with Captain Josh Hornick on AquaBlue Adventures and had the best day ever. We will definitely come back.

Beautiful rental
Angler's Reef is a beautiful enclave and the rental was clean and furnished as expected. This gated community has lush landscaping, parking for one car, and a pretty waterfront pool. If you're looking for a beach, this is not for you. While they've staged a picturesque sandy area, it's not for swimming. If you're looking for a quiet getaway, this is not for you. You can't escape traffic noise given the close proximity of US1. You can hear traffic out on both porches and out by the pool. But this is the nature of the Keys. Jennifer was very easy to work with from reserving the unit to being available during our stay.
Outside of the traffic noise, our two other "issues" were that the pool heater broke while we were there, and with lower air temps, that made swimming uncomfortable. The other is that the unit needs a cookie sheet or baking pan...we couldn't reheat our leftover pizza! Otherwise the house was well-equipped, clean, and very comfortable for our family of five.
