This cabin was our favorite if the five properties we have rented at Smoky Mountain. The view was spectacular , cabin was pristine . We loved the angled windows in living room . Jessica in the rental office was great

Outstanding property and stay! Extremely enjoyable. Very very minor, but we had no paper towels, and the coffee pot lid is broken, and when reassembled, still won’t drip correctly. Caught in time, but it is likely going to spill over during future use.

Lovely one family home in SMR. accessible driveway, shuffleboard was a huge hit! great views. well stocked kitchen, higher quality items than normally found in a rental. highly recommend.

Location was superb but you have to be willing to drive all those crazy switchbacks to arrive, but it is well worth all the jitters. House was so comfortable for four of us, cooking, enjoying the porch and fires daily to sit by. This was our second year and will return in 2024.

Beautiful views from the deck, lots of space and great amenities, Teenagers loved the entertainment loft, well equipped kitchen, garage parking and a ping pong table! Great location. So easy to access the ski and tubing hills or visit Biltmore for the day.

We had a wonderful stay at this gorgeous log home. With that said, I also think we have found the perfect location/area in Maggie Valley to purchase our own vacation home. This house was as clean as a whistle, had everything you could possibly need, and the view was spectacular. We absolutely loved the community that this house is in, especially the wide paved roads. We would definitely stay here again.

The home is very nicely decorated. The views are fantastic, and we have stayed in the community for many years. We love Maggie Valley and escape the FL heat as often as possible.
We decided to shorten our stay for several reasons. There are rats or mice chewing on wood in the ceiling. We heard them upstairs and near the fireplace. They should be removed before allowing the home to be rented.

This is the best place to rent in Haywood County, we have been coming to Smoky Mountain Retreat for over 14 years and owned a home here as well. Beautiful home with all the amenities you need. Spacious, comfortable, great kitchen with gas stove! Would absolutely come back to this lovely cabin.

Beautiful log cabin in a peaceful setting…
We were 2 couples staying in this lovely log home. We had everything we could want, from ample places to sit and relax, gorgeous deck with stunning views, very well stocked kitchen, comfy beds, a cozy fireplace. The house was spotless. We appreciated the nightlights everywhere-very nice when you are staying in a home away from home.

Great views, loved Waynesville for shopping and people we meet were the best!! Make sure you have 4-wheel drive to get up the mountain, depending on where you are staying. We had a hard time going up when it was raining. One of our best vacations with my 5 sisters..

The area was great and there are some good restaurants. We loved seeing the local waterfalls and being in the mountains.
Just a few suggestions for the owners: (1) Get some window drapery for the upstairs master bedroom to keep the sun from coming in early in the morning; (2) provide more candles and/or flashlights as we had a power outage at night; and (3) raise the hot water temperature a bit.

We had an amazing stay and the management company couldn't have been more helpful. We have rented with Smoky Mountain Retreat before and will again. This particular cabin was like we were guests in someone's well loved home. We only stayed for four nights but we enjoyed the cabin so much, we were reluctant to leave it!
