What an excellent place to relax! The house and property were exactly as pictured. We made the short walk to the beach several times, played both tennis and pickleball ( all supplies were in the garage), and the teens enjoyed the pool. You definitely need a car to get around. The house was very clean and comfortable. What a great place! The only problem we had was the front lights wouldn’t turn on at night. We used the flashlights on our phones but I managed to trip and fall where the walkway curves.

My wife and I plus 3 kids aged 14,13,10 had a fantastic stay. We loved everything about the house, it had it all. We can't wait to go back.

This is a beautiful property with plenty of space for us 6 adults and one infant. The lock I back was a great fishing spot and we enjoyed the pool and tennis/pickleball court on several occasions. I recommend checking everything when you arrive. We didn't confirm that things were available and operational until we actually wanted to use them. If something was missing or had a problem, we then had to wait for it to be addressed. The owner was great about addressing everything (!) but, ideally, we would have checked everything day 1. Carlos is friendly, professional, and very responsive.

We had a family gathering, from Ireland, UK and the US. The house was even better than described online, very comfortable, beautiful private dock and pool. Rooms all spacious and beautiful furnishing. Kitchen so well equipped, we loved our stay and will book again. Thanks Carlos for everything.

Everything was absolutely perfect. The house was beautiful and a very short walk to the beach. The owners was so nice he checked several times to see if we were happy. Wish we could have stayed longer. We will definitely be back.

This is our third stay at this property and I have already booked for next year. The house has everything: beach, lake, pool and a wonderful kitchen. It also has pretty good restaurants near by and you can rent a boat, jet skis, etc in a place near by. The owner is very responsive and always attentive to our needs.

We were very pleased with every aspect of the property. The home was clean, spacious for a family with kids, and comfortable. The pool was a great size and the temperature of the water was perfect! Beach access was a short walk away. We enjoyed our stay and would definitely book this property again in the future. I also want to add that the property manager was very prompt and responsive with any questions we had.

The house was incredible. Pool and tennis court were in great shape. Walk to the beach and fishing of the dock at the back of the property. It was like having your own resort

I have stayed in many VRBO properties and this was by far the best. The home exceeded my expectations. The pictures of the property are 100% accurate. It was the perfect getaway for our family of 6. The beds were very comfortable and the kitchen had everything one would need and more. Carlos was a wonderful host, responding to all my questions. I would highly recommend staying at this property.

This house is a home with all the amenities of a beach home. It is our second time visiting and we have reserved for next year again!!!

This location is spectacular! Carlos was super helpful when we had a few minor issues! Already booked for next year!!! Only note: prearrange if you are bringing a boat. My fault for not communicating we we renting one and there is a resident boat there.

Excellent hosts. The house was very clean and comfortable. The view from the living room, master bedroom, and pool are picturesque day and night. The layout of the house made it very quiet and private for sleeping while others were still up late in the main living area. The dock was new, very sturdy and well lit at night. We usually rent homes where we can dock our boat and this home had the best set up so far. The beds were comfortable and the water pressure in the showers was great. Thank you Carlos for sharing your home with my family. We really enjoyed it and plan to come back again next year.

Property well maintained and private.. Quite and restful…convenient to daily walks on the beach…taking naps after a dip in the pool..a man’s culinary kitchen…tennis courts recently resurfaced and inviting for an early morning workout..the only negatives were having to return to New York……mike T.

This Beautiful 4 bedroom house had plenty of room for us and all of our guests. Located on a very quiet bay, you get the water view without the boat traffic. The sunrise viewable from the the house was an amazing way to start each day. The sunset is a two block walk to a very quiet beach. Located on a very large lot with quiet neighbors make renting this house a way better choice than choosing elsewhere. The pool overlooks the bay and was a wonderful way to pass a hot sunny day. We had so much fun on the tennis and pickle ball court, beautifully done. Very, very clean, they even wash the comforters and pillow shams. Easy check in with great communication with management and owners. Such wonderful people that made us feel so very welcomed. We did not want to leave, cannot wait till next year.

Fantastic location, lovely villa very comfortable and homely feel. All positive - although I feel it was a little tired in places but by no means did this detract from our enjoyment or recommendation of the Villa. Lots of useful beach aids in the garage. Wonderful home for an adult family reunion. We had a great time. Secluded beach is a short walk. Loved the tennis courts. Kitchen is large and well stocked. Carlos and Carol were very helpful and responsive. Would highly recommend!

Another great week at this property. The weather wasn’t as cooperative all week, but the property and location provide a lot to keep busy.

This is our fourth or fifth time returning to this gem in Longboat Key and had another beautiful week. The house is amazing as we remembered it with some nice updates - the dock is beautiful. We rented a boat from Cannon’s and enjoyed many great times on the water, at the pool, and across the street in the gulf. Despite the weather being a wild card, we had absolutely perfect weather the entire week. There was something for all ages to do. We again enjoyed the gourmet kitchen and cooked every meal in the house while everyone congregated around the kitchen area. Enjoyed putting together some puzzles, ran some tennis clinics for the kids, enjoyed playing with the pool and beach toys supplied, and watched several movies at night time. Thanks again for a wonderful stay and we are already looking at coming back next year!

Best vacation ever

The best vacation ever! I found myself getting up early to have coffee and read a book while watching the sun come up over the water. (Who does that - getting up early on vacation?) The place is beautiful! Lots of room. The entire family (6 adults) enjoyed the pool constantly. Played tennis on the property and then went swimming. Beach was nice but due to red tide, the authorities suggested that people temporarily stay out of the water. We did, however, rent a boat from the marina 2 blocks away. We primarily ate at the house but enjoyed a nice dinner at a local restaurant and drinks and appetizers at a couple of cute places near the water. I so hope we are able to go back.

We rented a boat for 4 days and it was really convenient getting around the bay. Visited different islands and restaurants with the rental boat. Carol was very responsive and had an answer to every question of mine. It was a very relaxing stay on Longboat Key. Beach right across the street and bay in Carlo's back yard. We got to know the island and it's restaurants all within a week of stay. Thank you!

This home on Longboat Key was beautiful and spacious. Carlos and his manager Carol were quick to answer any questions and took care of everything while we were there. The dock in the backyard provided some fun fishing for my sons and the beach was a short walk and even shorter bike ride away. Overall, a wonderful vacation!

We’ve stayed here before and we’re anxious to do so again. The location and property were perfect. The pool is refreshing and access to the beach and water we’re just a few short minutes away. We lucked out and had exceptional weather which allowed for a lot of activities. We rented a boat from the marina down the street on our last day and it was a blast.

What a beautiful property ❤️. The House: spacious, well decorated and charming. It had everything you’ll need to cook wonderful meals. Comfortable beds and nice linens. Plenty of beach chairs, beach towels, umbrella and a wagon to haul it all to the beach (which is just a short walk away). The pool overlooks the water and was a wonderful place to relax. The sliding door/wall opens up in both the living room and the kitchen letting the outside in (not the mosquitoes as the pool area is screened). The garage was spacious and had an extra refrigerator in it. That was very handy. Property: Large and private. The tennis court was fun. There are some tennis racquets and a ball hopper available. The dock was new and was wonderful spot to park the pontoon boat that we rented. Also, two bikes and helmets available. Location: Long Boat is a quieter location and exactly what we were looking for. The beach access closest to the house had sometimes only 4 people on it. The house was nice and close to Sarasota, Bradenton and Anna Maria Island if you wanted to explore and do “touristy” things. Plenty of nice restaurants on LBK. Recommendations from owner were 👍. The Owner Carlos was available and made sure that your time at his house was as expected and enjoyable. Great guy. Carol was the property manager. Easy to reach and a great communicator. She made sure that any questions or concerns were answered or handled immediately. The two of them were so very nice to deal with. Our family, dog and sometimes friends were here for 1 month. I cannot fathom another property fitting us better than this one. We will be returning next year and we cannot wait.

Also,we loved the tennis court- the garage was stocked with plenty of balls and racquets and a even a few bikes. We walked to the nearby beach across the street (.3 miles away), spent a day at Coquina beach (1.5miles away with a food stand, bathrooms, and a craft/farmers market on Wednesdays and sundays), and loved the carryout from nearby Whitney's and MarVista. Great stay! Would definitely recommend.

Wonderful property. My husband and I were joined by another couple and we all totally enjoyed our stay. House was very clean, as well as a new grill and we were happy to have a dock for our rental boat. Would definitely return to this property.
