We enjoyed our stay and would definitely return to HHI and Hickory Cove Villas!

We had an amazing week staying here for our Hilton Head vacation! The villa was spacious enough for our family of 6 with room to spare. You can’t beat the location either. A simple easy stroll to the beach and general store. We visited the pool daily which was also kept up very nice!

Property was just as described and clean which is our key criteria when renting a place. Location is perfect and quick walk to the beach. Our family had a wonderful stay and would recommend this property wholeheartedly. We will look to stay here again on our next trip to Hilton Head.

Nice stay

We've visited HHI 20+ times over the past 30 years and always love staying in Palmetto Dunes. We stayed here in the Hickory Cove complex this time around as a precursor (3 nights) to our week-long vacation home rental with a big group the following week and were very happy. The complex is quiet and safe, close enough to walk to the beach/general store/Dunes House, and has a nice pool. The property owner, Tom, was friendly and quick to respond when we had a question regarding an additional gate pass. The home was well appointed and my dad loved sitting on the deck and watching the golfers. We would love to stay here again when we come back in 2025!

We chose this home for our yearly family trip. This was the perfect size and location. Plenty of space for everyone. We had everything we needed. Walking distance to the beach and super close to the pool. The grill was out of gas when we arrived. Quick call to the owner who brought us one the next day. We ended up purchasing fans for our bedrooms because we are used to having the airflow of ceiling fans. If that is something you need for sleeping, I would suggest bringing one with you. Hoping to be able to stay on the same spot next year.

We really enjoyed our stay at this beautiful condo. Very clean and had everything we needed. We had an issue with the air conditioning when we checked in and Tom responded immediately and was at the condo within 15 minutes and had it working in no time! Highly recommend! You won’t be disappointed!

We go to HHI a few times a year and this is definitely one of our favorite villas. It is very clean and perfect for our family of 4. We love that it is just a short walk to the beach and General Store.

Very clean and well equipped!

We had a great 2 weeks at 22 Hickory Cove. The golf villa's location near the 18th tee of the Trent Jones course affords a picturesque and perfect view of the golfers as they tee off and finish their round. We saw deer in the evening and the lovely birds of the low country as well. The beach, tennis center, and bike rental are just a short walk away. The BBQ was faulty and the owner came over the very next day with a brand new grill. Communication with the owner was excellent during our stay. The inside of the villa is comfortable and we pretty much had everything we needed. We would recommend this property and plan to return.

Loved the villa. We were on the 18th hole if the golf course so it was fun to watch the golfers. Villa had everything we needed for our stay. Parking was a problem one night but we were able to remedy it.

Thank you Tom for sharing your home with us! The condition of the condo was great and the location was perfect. Our kids had a great time and loved the closeness to the General Store. We can’t wait to visit again!

This villa was in a nice location with a short walk to the beach. It is an older villa but it is small. There was only two of us so it was plenty big enough for us. It has been updated somewhat. There are beach chairs, umbrella and a cart to take everything to the beach plus several other items for children. The owners answered all our questions and check in and check out was easy.

We have really enjoyed this spot. It was just want we needed. Thanks so much!

Loved the location. Easy access to beach and pool. Easy parking. No stairs. Private with porch facing the fairway of golf course. Was a perfect solution for us!

We have been to HHI many times over the past 20 years and 22 Hickory Cove did not disappoint. The location is ideal in Palmetto Dunes with a 5 minute walk to the beach, half mile bike ride to the General Store and right on the golf course. The unit is beautifully decorated, has a full kitchen, washer/dryer, and outdoor grill. We took full advantage of all! Thank you for allowing us to use the beach chairs and cart. We will definitely look into staying here again when we return to one of our favorite places! ****We could not find a blender in the unit, which was a bummer, but we borrowed our friend’s who stayed a few units down. Good chance we just overlooked it and did not impact our stay at all! :)

We had a great summer vacation at this property. It fit our family of 6 with room to spear. Short walk to the beach. Loved the extra touches the owners added to make our arrival smooth such as a few snacks and a few water bottles ready when we walked in. Would definitely stay here again.

The location was perfect and the home fit our family of 5 perfectly. Close to the beach in a nice community. One thing we instantly noticed was how well the home was outfitted for our stay. All the little things like plenty of hangers, trash bags, toilet paper, etc that are sometimes lacking in a rental. Also there was a great beach wagon in the storage closet which saved us! The owner has clearly put a lot of thought into making guests comfortable.

We absolutely loved this gem of a villa. It had everything that we needed and more! This villa felt so homey and was decorated perfectly for a beach stay. We enjoyed the short walk/bike ride to the beach, sitting on the deck and watching the golfers, as well as all of the extra amenities that the unit had. There is a closet filled with beach chairs, toys, wagons, etc, a cabinet filled with games, and plenty of books to read in the quiet of the villa or on the beach. We could not have asked for more. The owners made us feel so welcomed...right down to the basket treats and water in the refridgerator.

This villa was truly a gem! We’ve stayed in several condos and homes in Palmetto Dunes and this has been our favorite so far! Really close to the beach access, a nice big pool (plenty of space even when “busy”), and excellent accommodations at the villa make this one top the charts. We loved the personal, welcoming touches! (Snacks and flip flops, does it get any better?) The beds were very comfortable and the villa felt very spacious. It was equipped with everything we needed, from dish/laundry soap to all the kitchen wares for a family that ate in every night but one. We also enjoyed the deck from grilling at night to coffee and deer watching in the mornings. Also a great selection of items for the beach! We used the cart and chairs every day. We have stayed in houses that we’re $10,000+/wk that didn’t have all the extras this one had. Thank you for sharing this villa with us!

We were attending a wedding in this community and the house was perfect

We were at the Palmettos for a wedding and golf. Condo was very nice everything we needed. We only used first floor since it was only 2 of us. The unit could of accomadated 8. Pool steps away, beach 10 minute walk. Beautiful area!

Loved our stay in Hickory Cove! Located close to shopping, dining, biking, beach, and several golf courses! You can walk everywhere.

We enjoyed a week here over the thanksgiving holiday. The place was clean and comfortable. Our hosts even left a bowl of snacks for our family to enjoy when we arrived. This was our first stay at palmetto dunes and we loved it. The place was a nice close walk to the beach access. We would definitely stay here again. Oh and the backyard overlooks the 18th tee and fairway, really great outdoor space.

What a wonderful place to stay at. Right on the golf course. Plenty of sun such wonderful decor it was a perfect place. I felt so at home and so tranquil.

The property is perfectly located with easy beach/bike path access. The view of the golf course in the back is very nice. The property was very clean. We would rent this home again!
