Lots of room for a big family, the house has everything you need and comfortable we loved it and will go back

We just finished a 1-week stay in Las Gaviotas and had a great time. I think the pictures actually didn't do the house as much justice, it's lighter and brighter and feels bigger on the main living floor than shown. What we loved:
*The kitchen was well-stocked with all appliances
*The main living area was big and open and there were more than enough places to sit on couches or at the tables together for a large group
*lots of games available to play
*beds were comfortable
*The house is on the side of the complex closer to the private beach and very close to the pickleball courts
Some things we didn't love as much:
*The stairs were very steep and a challenge to walk up, but that wasn't a surprise, just something to note
*The 2 bottom floor bedrooms don't have windows to the outside. There are windows to the garage/hallway that let in natural light, but it felt a little stale and humid at times and a breeze would have been nice
*There are no bathtubs (really only an issue if you have younger kids that need to bathe vs. shower)
*As noted in the listing I'd definitely bring your own beach wagon if you need one as well as toys. The wagon/umbrella there were rusted and not in working order and selection of beach equipment was limited. There were a few chairs in good condition as well as many foam surfboards though
Overall very happy with the house and we would return again if we had another large group!

Great house with an amazing kitchen and common area. Views of both the ocean and mountains from the kitchen. Host was friendly, helpful, and communicated well. Will definitely stay again!

Great space for two large families
This home was great for our two large families with lots of bedrooms and plenty of common space. The kids all had beds and space to hang out and us adults enjoyed our private balcony of the two master bedrooms. The owner had great communication, was supportive and helpful. We will be renting from them again.

Perfect getaway!
Great, couples weekend! The house was as described, clean and comfortable. The Las Gaviotas community was great - enjoyed the beach, surfing, pickleball, the pool/hot tub and shuffleboard.

Las Gaviotas
Las Gaviotas is great for large parties and security makes you feel 100% safe. Pls read the rules before you book. they have a 10pm no noise curfew and everyone follows (which was fine for us ) the location was great and not to far from rosarito beach. Robs house was great and had everything we needed for our stay. there is a grocery store 4 mins away if anything is needed. Loved that they have a Mariscos & taco spot right at the pool of this gated community . will deff stay here again.

If looking for large house in great location... this is it.
We were looking for a large house to take our whole family... and allow the kids to bring a friend. Los Gaviotas offers the opportunity to have a house overlooking the ocean...with a beach... pool...shuffleboard...nearby (5 minute drive) small area for eating out... and the security of a gated community.... at a substantially lower cost that in the US and the gift a the Mexican culture to enjoy. Every rental in Los Gaviotas is likely a good opportunity...but this house has the uniquely large size... and we found that being at the top row did was not significantly hard in terms of walking to the beach or pool....and the unique third story (that only this upper row of homes has) provides an exceptional view down over the ocean... to even watch the surfing. If one can be prepared that these ocean facing community rentals are not quite the common US standards in style and quality.... but serve a Mexico vacation well...and are okay with the stairs involved in a 3 story home... you will have a great time. Owners are available and responsive as others note. They provide great directions on reaching the place...and every element involved...and easy check out. The garage currently had a couple surfboards... and this is a great location to try surfing...even if the first time. They also had wetsuits, chairs, a couple footballs, and a kayak.

Large Living Space for Families
Three floors, first floor has the garage and 2 bedrooms that are extra quiet. Second floor has 4 bedrooms, two of which have a view of the ocean and a balcony that connects two both bedrooms. Top floor has living room, kitchen and dining room area, complete with the balcony. Top floor is very spacious, never felt cramped in the slightest with 12 people there. Do take in consideration the steps, it can get tiring going up and down all day, besides that we enjoyed our time there, all of our cooking utensils and pots and pans were met, we BBQ as well. We enjoyed the pool and Jacuzzi, and even lit a bon fire at night on the private beach. The waves were a bit rough for the little kids to be in, but we took a short trip to Rosarito beach for the toddlers to enjoy. Took a short trip to Puerto Nuevo as well and enjoyed their food and shopping district, took advantage of the Calimax there to take out money from the ATM. Strict guidelines make this place a very safe place and everyone is very friendly. Would use this again for a family reunion.

Amaizing
This house is the second vacation rental our family has done with Vrbo. This home is spacious, tasteful decorating, comfortable bedding, excellent communication with Robert. The house is very close to the main shopping and restaurant area of Puerto Nuevo. I highly recommend this home. Can't go wrong with this place!

Excellent surfing getaway!!
We had a great time in this huge house! The house had everything we needed including additional surfboards and boogie boards. Can't wait to stay here again. All of us had a phenomenal time!

Beautiful Stay
We stayed in Costa Azul for 3 nights with friends and family and had an absolutely wonderful time! The home was clean, open and bright. Everything worked and the view was the cherry on top! There was more than enough room to spread out. We played board games, we grilled outside, we drank around the kitchen island, we ate together at the dining table, used the water boards and bikes available in the garage, etc. Then there's the Las Gaviotas community pool, jacuzzi, gym and private beach! Beautiful views, nice people and clean environment, all at a fraction of the cost of north of the border.

Had a wonderful time staying at this house with a group of friends. Right by the beach in a safe, gated community. The owners, Rob and Virginia, were so helpful in providing tips about the house and things to do in the area. Highly recommend!!

Fantastic Trip
Really enjoyed the house and our time at Gaviotas. The home was large, very clean and well maintained. Zero hassles from booking through to the ultimate return of our security deposit. Definitely looking forward to coming back in a couple months.

Los gaviotas
The stay I had at Robs Vacation Rental in Los Gaviotas was one of a lifetime. Me and my friends were able to sit back relax and enjoy the simple pleasures Baja has to offer. My favorite aspect of his house was comfort. Each of my friends were able to have their own room and space while being on vacation. I would recommend this place to anyone looking to have a good time with a group of friends in Baja.

It was more then i expected
This was our first time using VRBO , and this was a great experience for us and we will do it again, this location was fantastic and working with the owner was great. The house was clean and everything worked, we walked to the beach and pool areas, everything was close by. what more can I say. We Loved it...

Great location for large groups
We stayed in this 6 bedroom house in Los Gaviatos, located near between Rosarito and Ensenada. This was an excellent location and house for our 9 visitors at my wife's retirement and birthday celebration. Excellent views of the nearby beach and ocean with plenty of room and large bedrooms. Very clean and fully supplied cooking kitchen. The location allowed us to visit both Rosarito and Ensenada. I would highly recommend this rental for those going to Baja.

Amazing
This house is amazing! Not only is it huge and roomy, but its beautiful and has all the necessities you need (kitchen appliances, grills, washer/dryer). Walking distance from the beach. We enjoyed our time and will definitely becoming back.

Great time!
Big, spacious home with 6 bedrooms to accommodate 12 people! We had three families stay together and this home is one of the only homes in LG to accommodate such a possibility. The views of the ocean were amazing and a great view of the break at LG. Everyone had comfy beds. Very large kitchen to accommodate everyone! Great toys to use at the beach, surfboards, kayaks, boogie boards, chairs etc.. We hope to return to LG!

Best Baja Experience
We had a fabulous Thanksgiving getaway with plenty of room for all 11 of us. The 3 stories provided enough space for everyone to stretch out and find privacy when needed. The top floor has a spectacular view and plenty of room for large groups to prepare and enjoy meals together. Just a short walk to the beach and pool through the charming Las Gaviotas community. We took several short trips into Puerto Nuevo for souvenirs and restaurants. Las Gaviotas was an easy and fun place to get the whole family together.

Amazing Views
Wish there were curtains on the two big bedrooms that have a balcony. Also the bunk beds are too close together for an adult to sleep in. The top floor is the best! Great balcony, plenty of room to relax and enjoy the views

Our weekend trip to Mexico was made complete with this home. It's large, convenient, and has everything you need. Rob, the owner is as well incredibly easy to deal with and he makes your trip as easy as possible. Will absolutely go back!

Over all, we had a fantastic time. We were close to everything, there was a ton of room, and the view from the balcony was priceless at sunset. The house definitely needs a little TLC though. The refrigerator wasn't very cold and leaked, the floors need a deep cleaning, the lowest floor was musty, stuff like that.
We had Isabel cater breakfast and she and her daughter did an awesome job - I would definitely recommend it. Rene from the guard shack arranged for a chauffeured shuttle bus to take us wine tasting, that was great too. The driver tried to change the price on us at the end of the day, so better be clear up front. He did agree to the original price in the end.
My family had a great time and we will definitely return to Las Gaviotas.

My friends and I decided to rent this beautiful 3 floor home for my 26th birthday and we absolutely loved it. I do want to include some concerns regarding the home but it does not overlap all the positive experiences we all had such as: beautiful views ( on each floor), the room set up is extraordinary for a large group and the stair format around the house is so unique. We were all young adults so we loved that about the house but I would not recommend this for children or elderly people. Also, two bedrooms with balcony doors (view) on the second floor do not have curtains (no privacy) and if someone from across the way happens to go on their roof to hang out they are capable of looking in each room, the glass on the doors is clear.
Overall this home had everything we needed and more.

After five times of coming to Las Gaviotas, this was my favorite spot. The living area was large enough to accommodate our group and had great views from the balcony. Beach access was an easy walk from the spot. I will definitely be booking this house again. Thanks!

We rented this Beautiful home for a few days while in town for a wedding. The house is very nice with all amenities to relax and enjoy the time there. We loved that it was in a gated community with security. Our family and friends that stayed will definitely keep this place in mind if we are going to be out in Mexico again.

Our family truly enjoyed our here the house was great, had everything you need. The rooms were very spacious and clean and the views were incredible and the pool area also very clean and beach was so nice and relaxing definitely will stay here again.

We rented this house back in March and had a great time. There was a group of 10 of us, all in our early 30's to early 40's and all family. We were celebrate a few people's birthdays. We're glad we decided to rent this house. The set-up is perfect, it's 3-levels. Bedrooms in the first and 2nd floor. The 3rd was the kitchen, huge dinning room where we ate and played games, this floor also had a nice balcony with 2 grils. When people wanted to stay-up and hang out, the 3 floor was the place to be, this way people slept down stairs. I recommend if staying up late, to close the windows this way the neighbors don't hear you. We spoke to our neighbor on the last day, and was shocked at knowing there was a big group over the weekend. We made a deposit, no damages done to the property, I received my full deposit money shortly after our departure.

I decided to rent this place for my bachelor party and it was awesome. The place was clean, beautiful & literally a stone's throw from the ocean. Not to mention, the view was great. What was even better than the house itself was working with the owner of the property. Every time I had a question or concern, he answered almost immediately, and he did a great job letting us know everything about the house, surrounding area, directions from the border, FAQ's, etc. It's all about convenience folks!! My friends and I will definitely be staying here again!
