Beautiful setting, nice set up. Easy check-in, great communication. We were there just a couple of days but enjoyed our time at the house. Would recommend to families and groups looking to reconnect. Great property to connect with the outdoors.

We were total 12 family members and stayed for the weekend. The location of the cabin is great, near to highway/Grocery stores and eateries. The cabin itself is equipped with everything and kept very clean. Justine/Ben were very accommodating and helpful with all the requests. We will definitely plan to book it again.

This was our second stay at this cabin, we liked it so much! It's a fun place with everything you need to cook meals and relax after a long day playing in the snow. Its so close to the ski resort and Bunny Flats and close to town. The property itself it private and beautiful and well kept. We can't wait to stay there again!

We had a wonderful stay and Ben and Justine's. The house is clean and well-appointed. The view of Mt Shasta from the living room is fantastic! We were a group of 11, ranging in age from 2 to 80 and the main house was able to accommodate us all. The pullout sofas were quite comfortable. We particularly appreciated that the cabin was kept empty for the day before and the day after our stay for Covid prevention. Ben was quick to respond with any questions we had. We will definitely consider returning in the future.

The cabin is an amazing place! We had 3 families w/kids (who loved the lofts). We were all extremely comfortable, amenities were spot on, and the space is perfect for a small group. Thank you!!

Owners provided plenty of what we needed for linens and necessities. The location was perfectly out of the way but close to any store you would need. Gorgeous view of Mount Shasta! We we're lucky enough to come when the property was a Winter Wonderland! We highly recommend it and can't wait to stay here again!

We booked this amazing modern cabin on very short notice and rolled in from a tough camping trip in the coastal redwoods. We were met with everything we could’ve possibly imagined in terms of Creature comforts. The daily view of the mountain was indeed therapy for the soul. The perfect combination of rustic old cabin and modern new Innovations.. Even the books in the library span 100 years of knowledge. We are retired CEOs with old hippie souls and absolutely fell in love with this place. We will be back again in the fall for sure .

Perfect Northern California destination home with beautiful views of Mt. Shasta and plenty of room for a large family or multi-family vacations in the mountains. The location is just far enough of the beaten path but yet close enough to everything you need for an alpine adventure. The cabin is very family friendly with a nursery room that has amazing views of Mt. Shasta with plenty of room for very young children to play while you soak in the surrounding beauty. Would definitely take my family here again when visiting Mt. Shasta!

My husband and I had a really great stay at this place. The view of Mt. Shasta from the cozy living room was magnificent. We had three sunny days which were gorgeous and then three stormy days which were equally amazing. The house and property itself was beautiful and relaxing. It has the most well stocked kitchen we have seen so far at any VRBO we have been to yet, and we have been to many. We were at the cabin during Thanksgiving and made most of our own meals but there are plenty of great options for food and groceries in nearby Weed and Mt. Shasta. They are very caring and helpful hosts. They provide a thorough list of recommended restaurants, site seeing options/ hiking, and other tips.

The view is exactly as advertised...no arrival to see that pics were taken to look like property is closer to Mt. Shasta than it is. Near by places for pick up of food. No shoes in house policy was a surprise, but not really an issue. n+m

We had a great stay in ‘Modern Cabin.’ We were there during the time of the Carr fire, and while the smoke definitely obscured the views, it didn’t diminish our fun. The cabin is well located for easy access to lots of activities. Lake Siskiyou was thoroughly enjoyed, as were the myriad of hiking trails in the immediate area. While there is no air conditioning, the system for natural cooling works very well and we were never uncomfortable, even with outside temps in the upper 80’s.

Due to the California fires near Redding, our hiking views were a bit obstructed all over Weed and the Mount Shasta area. However on a clear day, while sitting on the patio, we had the most spectacular view of Mount Shasta. The owner made sure we could find everything we needed. The well-equipped kitchen was extremely organized, the beds were very comfortable, and the bathrooms were wonderful. After hiking all day, it was so nice to come home to this beautiful house, have a refreshing shower, sit on the patio, and drink a cold beer or wine. I highly recommend this home for people who like an organized host, spectacular views, and quiet surroundings. We were four adults and always had plenty of room in the house. We took the owner's advice and closed the windows and blinds during the day and opened them up at night and even on warm days, we were very comfortable while sleeping. The owner also had some helpful guide books for hikers like us and people interested in the local area. We highly recommend this home.

The cabin had lots of space for kids to play inside and out. Amazing view. Everything was working well and had all the amenities we needed to relax, cook yummy meals and sleep well. Hosts were responsive when needed and very accomodating. Thanks Justine, Ben and Leo for sharing such a lovely home.

We enjoyed our stay very much. It was a great location for the wedding we were attending. Everything we needed was available! It was great to be able to bbq dinner and sit on the patio and enjoy the mountain! Thank you for a great weekend.

This cabin has the best of all worlds--you're in the woods with Mr. Shasta dominating the landscape, but you also have all the amenities you could ever need. Every single thing has been thought of, and the owners have a great eye for design. Our young son loved exploring the house while we lounged and relaxed in the abundant sun from the myriad of windows. The owners are very responsive, and it's impeccably clean. There is tons to do in the area, too. We can't wait to come back!

Spent a much needed getaway weekend at this modern cabin. It was perfect! Very clean and beautiful view of mt Shasta. Justine was a great host. Very responsive and it was easy to ask her questions. The property had just about every essential we needed. A private setting but not too far away from stores, landmarks and hiking trails. I would recommend and would love to stay here again.

This was a great place to get away, relax and re-charge your batteries. Mt Shasta feels so close you feel you are part of it, especially when the deer walk across the lawn to greet you. Thanks.

We spent an absolutely lovely Christmas time with my children' families including 5 grand-children between the ages of 12 and 10 months (12 people total). The environment was ideal, quiet, with a stunning view on Mt. Shasta, and only 15 minutes from grocery stores, restaurants, etc. We all had so much fun outside playing in the snow, hiking, and watching stars in the evening. The surroundings of the house were safe for the children who delighted running around. The house had a very welcoming atmosphere, was comfortable, warm, full of light, very clean, and the kitchen was well equipped. The beds were excellent and the view from the vast master bedroom and from the living room/dining-room were amazing. The whole family could admire the view as we enjoyed our meals (we all love to cook) around the large dining table. We also played cards and many other games, as the little ones were safely playing near by. We all brought back found memories. Thank you so much to the owners for sharing their beautiful home in such an ideal location for vacations anytime of the year for any age group(we were 3 generations). We already came last Summer, and we plan to come again as soon as possible.

I can't say enough how much we loved our time at Ben and Justine's magical mountain home. spent my son's 16th birthday weekend in the snow at this amazing home. the views are stunning and private serene space provided us a winter wonderland playground to remember. The owners' have fantastic attention to detail with all new appliances, bedding and furniture. The dining table had more than enough room for our party of 8 to enjoy meals and fun game night. The kitchen is well-equipped for full meals and easy prep and cooking. The house has unbelievable character with a modern loft feel. The top enclosed loft, which is accessed by a ladder from the second floor landing was a favorite nap, meditation and snuggle space and was fought over by our kiddos for sleeping quarters. The two glass solariums give the house an extra special airy and open feel that can't be beat. The unobstructed view of the mountain was a gorgeous way to begin and end the day. Ben and Justine were the most gracious hosts and provided us all the detail and warmth we could have hoped for, they were responsive and helpful and incredibly gracious hosts by allowing us access to the house on short notice. We were there during one of the heaviest snow storms of the year, but with a wood stove and keronse hearter, the house was toasty and warm and easily accessed with the road plowed and shovels available to clear the doorways and tools for epic snowball battles. It has a very secluded feel, although The house was only minutes to the highway so getting into Weed for the brewery or Mt. Shasta for the mountain were quick and easy trips. house was great for our two families and would also be a lovely couples retreat. Thanks again Justine and Ben....we can't wait to make our snow weekend an annual trip.
