We liked the room as a whole. We would have liked a coffee maker in the room. The shower head was a little too strong and felt stingy.

I put one star for all due to the unfortunate response at the end of our stay after several issues. The staff was lovely at the time, but in the end did not accommodate us for the problems that I politely addressed. We will not stay again when we return to the area and we will not recommend to others.

Very quiet

The room I stayed in was kind of dismal, especially the bathroom. Not particularly clean and very rundown.

A bit outdated but clean, good linens and bed/pillows. We had a king and the room was small but adequate. I will definitely be staying here again when visiting Shasta. The check in guy was friendly, swift and knowledgeable. The restaurant was good food and value for money.

We checked in late so it was just a stop over. Overall not bad for a quick place to rest your head, it’s is a little overpriced. The hotel is pet friendly and this must have been a room used for pets as there was a noticeable smell in the corner. Also the bathroom curtain provides no privacy. The cafe had friendly staff and food was good.

Great place for quick affordable stay

The room was okay. The bathroom was tiny and the shower was okay but gave the impression of not being clean.

The shower, while adequate, woukd be difficult for some to use because it is small and one has ro step up 5 or 6 inches to get into it. Also, there was no blow deyer, and the Direct TV was a challenge. The staff was hwlpful helping me make it work. And the adjoining cafe was great.

The bathroom was dirty. There was toothpaste in the sink from the last guest, and flies in the shower!

Great, staff helpful, except for the cars and motorcycle revving their engines for 2 hours. Maybe an anomaly, I hope so. Not knowing why the staff did not stop. Otherwise a reasonable stop on my way south.

A nice, quiet location, there is a stream near our door, grass, picnic tables, rv hookups, the resturant associated with the motel is top notch, staff are very friendly.

We have stayed here before. It’s at the perfect spot in the drive between California and Washington to rest before continuing over the pass. The beds are very comfortable!

Great guy in the office, willing to do about anything to make our stay nice. Informative. Loved the 1950’s feel of the motel and the cafe on property is a great amenity too.

The room was clean, shower/bathroom plenty of hot water. Just kind of dated and people and cars kept cutting through the parking lot.

This place is a hidden gem, about 20 miles from Mt Shasta Ski Park, it offers QUIET and comfortable accommodations in the tiny town of Weed.

Nice clean room

Great place to stay over night. The staff was kind and moved us to another room a little farther off the busy road so it would be a little quieter. Bed was clean and comfy. We slept good and then had a wonderful breakfast in the morning at the cafe. We would stay here again.

I've been staying here for years and will continue to do so. As always, everything was excellent.

Slim pickings in the area so I suppose some will resort to this location like I was, but be prepared. The whole property is very dated. The rooms are dank with a stale smell that would need a total remodel to probably rid it. There was only one light bulb out of the 4 in the cramped small bathroom, with a fan as loud as a jet engine and the sink clogged. Honestly, I didn't dare use the shower - I sanitized everything before touching. The pillows were disgusting and so misshapen, it barely resembled a pillow. I literally put a towel over it due to the visible "stains" on the actual pillow that could be seen through the thin pillow case. ICK But it is quiet, I was exhausted so grateful to have a place to crash. Best advice, don't pay more than $75 be grateful for what it is, privacy with a roof and toilet and bed. IF you can bring your OWN pillow, I wish I Had! P.S. the diner is perfectly fine! :)
