Our weekend getaway was very nice. This property is in a great location. Very short walk to the beach & a couple walkable restaurants/bars. Also, a very easy drive to both downtown Seaside & Cannon Beach. The house is definitely old & shows signs of wear everywhere, but was very spacious for extended family & having 3 bathrooms was very nice. My only complaint & reason I would not stay here again is the toilets. Every flush in every toilet was like Russian roulette, you never knew if it would flush, just spin, or not do much of anything. Also, 1 of the toilets was very hard to stop from running all the time. Upgrade all the toilets & we’d book this house again.

Close to beach, close to the prom, plenty of parking, plenty of room for everyone.

Place could use a little TLC, mostly paint and outside landscape cleanup. Everything was functional with home. There were bicycles available, but all had low tires. Access to beach was awesome and neighborhood a plus.

Nice and clean. Plenty of room to spread out. We loved the tv and the cable package. We were able to watch college football. Well stocked kitchen but no napkins, Saran Wrap, aluminum foil, etc. Well stocked linens and comfortable sheets. Plenty of seating. Outside could use some sprucing up. And a large bed in one of the bedrooms would be preferred.

Really liked the extra family/play room. They were well stocked with games, bikes and kites. Easy walk to beach. Not the most elegant, but clean, comfortable and spacious.

Only a short walk to the beach and walking distance to downtown on the Promenade. The house met all of our needs, was quite roomy, and was clean.

We loved being at the S end of Seaside, just close enough to walk to town on the Prom which is only a short trip across the Tides Motel parking lot. We loved being close to the beach with easy access just across the street and down the path. We loved the deck and the BBQ. We could hear the Ocean and there is a peek a boo view thru the trees at the houses across the road. We loved having 2 bathrooms upstairs. We loved being able to park 5-6 cars. We loved being able to bring our dog. We loved the kitchen, it really has everything you need and more.

Everything was good, except the carpet was loose in one of the upstairs bedrooms.

Nice location and the unit had everything you would need. Fully stocked kitchen and definitely plenty of towels and extra bedding. Ran into a couple issues but nothing that effected our stay. Would like to have had the property/ management respond to my inquiries/ concerns though.

We have had the opportunity to utilize this space over the past several years for our annual family reunion. It's a great place close to the beach and south end of the prom. Large living room downstairs for kids and good space upstairs for games and hanging out. The television systems were a little complicated at first to figure out (but there are instructions). House has bikes and golf clubs which are great to utilize. We have a large family so the 10am check out time and 4pm check in are a little frustrating (especially check out) it's a large house with several rooms and it makes it difficult to get everyone/everything packed and ready to go the morning of your departure (an 11am checkout would be preferred). Had a great time, look forward to next year.

Open plan, living room and dining room accommodate a large group. Septate area downstairs if needed.

We had 2 families in the house and it was great to have the 2 separate living spaces. Kids in one area and adults in the other. The walk to town was a little under 20 mins if you walked along the boardwalk. There is nice new carpet throughout the house and although there are parts of the home that need to be updated, it was still nice accommodations. I wish there would have been an easier way to contact the “owner/property manager” as we had some concerns with a contractor doing work while we were there. I couldn’t figure out how to directly contact anyone and did not get any replies from the messaging through VRBO.

My husband, three grown children and three of our grandkids spent the weekend here together to remember and support each other on the first anniversary of our third daughter’s death from cancer. It was a time of healing, remembering, and enjoyment of being together. Very comfortable and well-equipped property, lots of room, and a great location helped us feel at home. Loved that we were offered late checkout—gave us more time together before we returned to our own areas of Washington.

This place truly does sleep 10. The location was great - a few minutes walk to the beach, a pub and a great market a block away, and 5 minute drive into town. Tons of dishes and towels. Would stay here again.

We loved hearing the ocean so close. Just a short walk to the beach. The house was large enough for the whole family to be together.

Everything you need is at this place. A great place for families!! Only hiccup was the bathroom shower door was broken when we arrived otherwise everything was great! :)

This house is very close to the beach and this is the best part of this rental. On the plus side, besides location, the furniture was comfortable and there were no complaints about the beds. The beds were clean and there were clean towels for the bathrooms. There were plenty of plates and cups in the kitchen. This house is tired..it needs a makeover in a serious way. I had read previous reviews and I was aware that I was not renting a house that was newer, but I did expect that it would have been much cleaner. Not just surface clean, because it was ok, but deep cleaning; pots and pans cleaned and organized, shelves cleaned out, corners scrubbed, dusting cobwebs; you get the idea. I am not pointing a finger to any one person or group, but please update this house that is in a great location and a good neighborhood.

The location to the beach was great. It had lots of room. We were given plenty of towels. It will be better when old carpet is replaced. It is an old home but good for a large group. They could use new pots and pans.

We've stayed here the last 2 years. It's a great location, quick walk to the beach. Plenty of room in the house for everyone, although the kitchen can get cramped. House needs some care, seemed not to be in as good shape as last year. The cleaning wasn't very good this year either. I had to sweep when we got there and there was garbage under the sink and next to the fridge. We really do love this place just wish the cleaning crew had been more thorough.

Great location, plenty of room for us all, lots of towels and toiletries. Always plenty of hot water. Easy walk to beach. Liked access to beach toys and boogie boards. Suggestions are to have carpet cleaned or replaced, it’s old and definitely smelled of pet urine. Whole house is quite dated but is comfortable, especially beds. Not enough pots for cooking when you have a big family but otherwise well stocked kitchen. Also would be good to have curtains in bedrooms to make rooms darker and cooler with children. Nevertheless we did enjoy our stay, just some thoughts……

House was nice and spacious. Overall we enjoyed our stay very much. However, the downstairs living area stank of dog urine so bad it was unusable. The dishwasher did not work. The pans were so small that we had to go buy new ones to cook for our family.

The house is great- two separate floors for two separate couples/families/etc. we used the downstairs for the early risers. Accessibility to the beach is great- just a walk of a few minutes. The beach was gorgeous, and not too crowded. Low tide was amazing for beach combing. I found ~a dozen small whole sand dollars! Our sandy kids loved the warm outdoor shower, and the three inside showers were great too. We took advantage of the beach toys, but not the bikes. We loved the extra card table for the 1000-piece puzzle we completed. The deck was great for views and chilling. Only complaint was no foil/Saran wrap, and no medium-sized sauce pan. Great location with short walk to the beach, where we spend much of our time. Nice layout with two living spaces on different floors. Not enough pans to cook for a 5 bedroom property, had to bring our own. Very strong pet odor in one of the bedrooms, had to use our own products to clean & refresh it before we could sleep in it. If you need to spend much time indoors this is not a good property to do it in. Will not consider it for future stays.

RIGHT ACROSS FROM THE BEST DOG PARK IN THE WORLD!!!!

The house was spacious enough, enough supplies to use and quiet. However, the stairs and downstairs carpet had a strong fresh dog pee that limited my family to spend sometime downstairs. Also, there was baby diaper under the master bedroom that questioned me about the level of cleanliness that’s getting done. Overall we had a good stay, would consider renting the place of the carpets are replaced.

My family and I had a wonderful time. I honestly wouldn't change a thing.

This place is great for families. Lots of room, bedrooms, bathrooms, space. We have stayed 3 times now and enjoyed each time. Short walk to the beach. Short walk to town on the promenade. Love this house.

Right on the beach and dog friendly park all of seaside!!!

Great location, very clean large spacious house. The only cons: they need larger pots and pans, what they had made it very difficult to cook for a larger crowd, we had to go buy our own larger pots and pans. They have a bunch of games, but they were all missing pieces and were unusable. They only left two trash bags, and again with a larger crowd that was not enough. Overall we enjoyed our time here and would definitely stay here again!

The main area with the kitchen is upstairs, making it the perfect place for the adults, which leaves the downstairs area the hang out for the teenagers in the group. The house is older and dated, it's comfortable and cozy and close to the beach in a quiet neighborhood. I would say that the only down side to this property is that it has an "old house" smell that was quite apparent and I needed to purchase some deodorizer to be able to tolerate it through the weekend. I would recommend new flooring/carpeting and using killz to help with the smell....at that point I would consider returning and re-renting it.

We loved the space- it was perfect for our family. Plenty of space for the teenagers and adults to coexist. Having the washer and dryer to use was very handy. The beds were awful. Squeaky and uncomfortable. The house seemed clean although it had a musty smell and we found old dog bones under the kitchen table and dirty paper towels in the windowsill. The listing mentions a view- literally no view. “Easy beach access”is 2 blocks away. Not a terrible walk but not “easy” for everyone. The garbage situation was interesting. Both trash and recycling bin were full so we had to pile our trash in the laundry room. We got a relatively good price considering we stayed during the week in the off-season. I couldn’t imagine paying more than we did for the rental, as someone would have to during peak season.
