We rent from VRBO every year, and I think this house was the cleanest we have been to! It was the perfect setting, right on the water with a Sandy beach. 10 of us fit comfortably. We spent most of the days playing in the water with the pontoon boat, kayaks, paddle boards, fished off the dock! Great week! So close to Michigan Adventure, we will be back!

This house is amazing—has absolutely everything you need and the beach is everything you could want. We had kids from 2 to 10 in the house and they loved it all—the two year old could walk almost 20 feet out without concern as it’s very shallow. 10/10 and will for sure be back.

Lovely home with beautiful lake views. We enjoyed swimming, kayaking/paddle boarding, and just generally being outdoors. The house is well maintained and equipped, and there’s a pontoon available for rental as well (which we enjoyed).

The property was well stocked and had great amenities. It was perfect for a quick getaway with girlfriends. Plenty of space, clean and comfortable beds!

House was clean & comfortable, beautiful view & nice beach, we used the fire pit & paddle boat & boards. Kids loved playing in the sand & water, adults enjoyed the hot tub. Had pretty much everything we needed, only complaint is that we had to get a propane tank for the grill because both were empty, I realize it states this in the welcome packet & we will be reimbursed for the cost but I think the owner should take care of this & not the guests. Other than that we had a great time & I would recommend.

Fun activities for all ages. Beautiful area Place is decorated very nicely and it is well stocked with necessities. Peaceful for the Seniors, 83& 85.

I have stayed at quite a few cottage rentals and this house was clean, very well stocked, and looked like it did in the photos! Check in was super easy. The beach/lake area was perfect for the little kids and the older kids spent MANY hours on the kayaks and paddle boards. It was hot the week we were there and very grateful for the AC that worked perfectly. We are planning to come back next year!

Great place to stay with a family! Because the lake is not huge or deep it is the perfect temperature and stays shallow for a bit... Great for kids. The kids loved using the paddle boat and kayaks to go to the island and explore! Lots of space to spread out even with 10 of us there! Great fishing. Would definitely recommend!

The cottage was clean, decorated for the holiday and well stocked. Our grandkids from North Carolina loved the snow and ice. Their grandparents enjoyed the fireplaces! The house was large enough to accommodate 7 adults and 3 children easily. We wish the grill and firepit had been available for use. We had an issue with the new microwave but we used the one in the basement anyway. We made great memories at Twin Lakes!

I have rented vacation homes for many years, this was the FIRST one that truly felt like home! It was VERY clean, decorated for Christmas, kitchen was the BEST [when they advertise fully stocked... they're not kidding. We never once ran out of dishes or cookware... they even had spices, common necessities were abundant]. We cooked big country meals every night but one instead of eating out because it truly felt like home! [We ate at Mylan's in Whitehall after the wedding on the 9th...great food]. We had plenty of towels and linens. Neighborhood is quiet, scenery of the lake beautiful, there wasn't one thing we packed or needed. Kathy was kind and cordial in communicating. We did not use the hot tub, we were just too busy actually...we celebrated Christmas with our 4 Air Force family members on leave and had a small wedding during our 8 night stay. There is a dollar general, like half a mile away... just turn right into main road leaving the rental you'll find it. And, if you continue past dollar general another half mile or so... there's a big gas station, go inside, it's actually a nice grocery with meat department, good wine selection etc. We were all very delighted with this rental. Very easy to get into Muskegon too...we went bowling and had a blast. I'm confident we will seek it out again. Thank you Kathy for such an attention to detail rental... the BEST experience was had! [There was also a nice high chair, pack and play, and sturdy booster seat.... and extra linens available]

Very comfortable space with plenty of room for resting, relaxing, and reclining. Nice size dining table for meals or board game. Nice & easy lake access as well. Overall lovely weekend, thank you to the owners.

What a great property! Six mid-30s men were very comfortable here for a long weekend. Great beds, very clean, quiet location. Wonderful!
