We had a lovely stay. This location in Princeville is quiet but the facilities are great- we grilled up fresh fish we bought in Hanalei, played tennis, used the fitness room and , I did laps in the pool (yes, we had a bit of rain so it was nice to have these things to do) The house is thoughtfully appointed with kitchen gear, boogie board's, even an umbrella. Charlene and Roger were fantastic hosts— the Vrbo reminder system for deposits malfunctioned and River reached out instead. So kind! Highly recommended.

We stayed at this condo several years ago with our teenage children and this time had 2 couples stay for 2 weeks. It worked out great as each couple had their own bedroom space and bathroom. There is a grocery store close by so we cooked several nights and found the kitchen was well stocked with all the dishes and pots etc. required to actually cook a meal. There is a dishwasher, microwave, cleaning supplies, some seasoning, coffee supplies and even some condiments. The resort has BBQ grills for guest use which are good quality and kept very clean. This condo has everything we needed to go to the beach; coolers, beach chairs, snorkels, beach towels and even sunscreen! There is a washer/dryer in the condo which came in handy to do a little laundry. We were there in January so it was not an big issue but there is no air conditioning, it has lots of windows and the patio doors with let the air in but it does get hot in the loft. The Cliffs is a awesome resort with beautiful grounds and pool area. There is tennis, putting green, pickle ball and shuffle board on site, a few restaurants and grocery store are within walking distance. We did a lot of walking in the area and found it to be clean, quiet (other than the roosters) and safe. The best part of the condo is the front deck (lanai) it is sheltered from the wind and rain and we loved sitting out there watching the whales and enjoying the views. We would definitely stay again!

The view of the ocean was spectacular with a gorgeous lawn in front of it. We really enjoyed watching the NeNe families and even saw an albatross! The roosters started loudly crowing about 4am which was annoying, but inevitable in Kauai. The kitchen was well-stocked. We enjoyed a lovely dinner on the lanai with friends in the area. the activities Cliffs offered were really nice We especially enjoyed the music of Soulgood Family at the Art and Music Festival, and even traveled out to Opakapaka Grill and Bar to hear them again. The Mai Tai Party was fun. Parking was plentiful. The owners responded quickly when I reached out. It was a very pleasant stay for my husband, my in-laws, and me.

My family loved our stay at Charlene and Roger's rental at the Cliffs in Princeville! It was perfect and we loved the views of the ocean right out the back patio! It was exactly what we expected based on the listing description and everything was in good order. We especially liked how there were boogie boards, beach chairs and some snorkel equipment and other beach toys available for our kids. Even I did some boogie boarding, haha! Our kids loved the relative privacy of the loft where they slept and the roosters kept us from sleeping in too late so we could hit the beaches!

My wife and I stayed at this wonderful property for nine nights. The condo was very nice and comfortable, we enjoyed the view from our lanai each morning. Plenty of space. There was a mechanical issue with the dishwasher. However, Roger kept us informed on the repair. The owners even gave us a discounted daily rate because the dishwasher wasn’t working. We really appreciated the thoughtfulness. The property the condo is located on has everything you need, including an adult only hot tub. The location provides easy access to Hanalei bay and downtown Princeville. We enjoyed the condo and our vacation very much and would recommend anyone to stay in this beautiful condo.

Lovely condo, with amazing views of the ocean, sunsets and sunrises. The condo is fully furnished and has equipment (boogie boards, chairs, etc.) to take to the beach, which we greatly enjoyed. Charlene and Roger are excellent at communicating, and they sent an email ahead of time with information about the condo, the resort and fun activities to consider booking ahead of time - this was very helpful!

Had a great stay here in Princeville. Unit had many useful amenities which made our stay enjoyable. Our hosts (Roger & Charlene) were very friendly and provided abundant information on the unit and the island. There were (4) of us in the unit and we had plenty of space to sleep, relax, cook, etc. Thanks for a great time in Kauai!

We first stayed in Charlene and Roger's Hale last year and we became hooked. It is a pristine and beautiful top floor condo with unbelievable views. The unit has everything you could possibly want and the beds are very comfortable. This was our second stay and we will most assuredly be back next year. Our whole family thoroughly enjoyed the pools, beach, farmer's markets and just chilling in the Hale. I wish I could give it more than 5 stars!

We had such a wonderful time on our vacation! This is a beautiful place to stay with an incredible ocean view. Our family of 6 was very comfortable and we had plenty of space. Roger and Charlene were fantastic to communicate with and we wouldn't hesitate to book with them again in the future.

What a spectacular place to stay. Hanalei will forever have a place in our hearts and this hale was absolutely perfect. The view was incredible, the kitchen was well equipped, the bed was very comfortable. We cannot wait to return!

Beautiful views! Rolling green overlooking the ocean. Whales breaching! Birds and geese hanging around. Quiet and serene. Well stocked kitchen and beach equipment. Comfortable beds. Spacious common area. Kids enjoyed the heated pools and playground. There was a mix up w the cleaning staff so the property wasn’t ready when we arrived. Charlene was super responsive and went above to make sure our stay was right. Thank you! Would definitely return on next kauai trip.

The place was very nice, had everything we needed, and communication was excellent.

We've stayed at several different condos at the Cliffs and this is by far our favorite. It has an unobstructed ocean view, a well-stocked kitchen and very comfortable sofas and beds. The Master shower was well-equipped with grab bars and places to store toiletries. Hosts were also very accommodating, and even provided a mid-stay cleaning as we were there for 4 weeks. The Cliffs has regular food trucks and there are stores and restaurants nearby. The community Center has videos and book to borrow while there, and has a number of planned activities. We will definitely book this property again!

From the beautiful views to the well-equipped and furnished unit, our VRBO Kauai stay was easy, comfortable and fun! There was everything we needed for excursions to the beach, cooking meals, playing games and relaxing! Gorgeous flowers, very nice furnishings and extremely responsive hosts! Very clean and cozy! My family vacationed in Hawaii for the first time and we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. The condo was perfect. It was very spacious and the view of the ocean was breathtaking!

Our family of five, two adults and three teenage/young adult kids loved our stay at Roger and Charlene’s hale. The unit was comfortable and well equipped with cooking utensils and beach supplies. We enjoyed eating and playing cards on the lanai with a spectacular ocean view. We also enjoyed climbing down the cliff to snorkel and turtle watch. The complimentary bikes to borrow were an added bonus and we rode several times to Hideaways Beach which we also loved. We can’t wait to come back!

We had an amazing stay. Waking up to our beautiful view of the ocean was one of the many perks of this rental. The owners were easy to get a hold of for all questions. We will definitely rent this location again.

This was my family's second stay with these wonderful hosts and this exceptional home away from home in paradise, and we could not have been more pleased to be back! The townhome itself is very beautifully decorated with a tropical twist, an amazing view, very comfortable in all ways, with pretty much any amenity you could hope for. Add to that the resort amenities including great pools, spas, and activities including bicycles, pickleball, tennis, shuffleboard and basketball, as well as a library full of books and DVDs, there are many things for everyone. Location wise, being close to pretty much anywhere you will want to go, from amazing beaches to great restaurants to memorable activities, you seriously just can't do much better. Then, if that isn't enough, the hosts are absolutely wonderful too! They are attentive, proactive, and did everything they could, both this trip and last, to make sure we were comfortable and had a great stay! In the future, whenever we go to Kauai, this is where we are planning to stay, not even a second thought.

We had a fantastic stay at The Cliffs. You can't beat the view of the ocean from the condo. It was clean and comfortable, and had all the amenities we needed. There was a beautiful tropical bouquet on the dining table awaiting us when we got there. Roger was very responsive -- he answered my questions right away, and checked to make sure that we had what we needed. I highly recommend it if you're going to be in the Princeville area.
