We were so pleasantly surprised at how large this suite was for the 5 of us! The pictures didn't do it justice - the dining table + kitchen space was roomy; and the separate "living room" was great to relax in after activities around the island. The pull-out bed in the living room is separated from another pod of couches, meaning it is not really in the way to have a guest using that. The location was excellent - across from the waterfront park and easily walkable into Eastsound for some wonderful meals and shops. Would highly recommend with groups that require 3 different beds to anyone who wants to be in Eastsound, and you can make do with the kitchen supplies to throw meals together fairly well for the times you aren't grabbing food in town.

Truly a lovely place to stay for a visit to Orcas Island. Right across from Indian Island, with water views from the living room windows. Comfy beds, a fan, even lawn chairs are provided. 4 minute walk to Brown Bear Bakery. Moran State Park was a highlight for jumping off the bridge at Cascade Lake and Mount Constitution, just a 20 minute drive. We wouldn’t hesitate to stay again!

Exceptional location for jumping off across Orcas Island and being able to walk about town. Suites are comfortable, especially the large kitchen area. Would recommend and would gladly stay again!

Location, location, location!

The place was just beautiful and we loved that it was just a few blocks from Eastsound restaurants and shops. The unit was beautiful, super clean and had everything we needed for a long weekend getaway. We all agreed we would stay here again next time we are on Orcas- it was great!

We really enjoyed our stay - besides being really comfortable and well appointed, you couldn’t beat the location for access to shops and restaurants. We’d stay there again.

Centrally located for all the beautiful hiking opportunities on Orcas Island.

We loved this unit. It's perfect for a small family or two couples. Ground floor unit was very convenient and only about a block from shops and the water (with views from living room). Was spotless and comfortable as well. Host was responsive and helpful. Highly recommend!

I’ve taken our family here five times now. It’s a great location, great property.

This condo is very well built, stocked, and maintained. The door lock only works about 50% of the time. Theft is almost unheard of but I literally had someone walk into the unit looking for the "front desk". There is a mechanical room right next to one of the bedrooms that requires earplugs as there is a 24x7 fan and a water heater noise that will kick on in the middle of the night and wake light sleepers. Both would be wonderful improvements to the property.

We had a wonderful, albeit short, stay at Michele’s property. It was clean and as advertised; it’s a wonderful location across the street from a park and steps to town, and Michele is an excellent hostess. Our group included four adults and three kids ages 0-6; the property was great for our needs and I would not hesitate to stay here again on our next visit.

Fantastic place to stay as we were in Orcas Island to attend a wedding. Loved being close to the town. Everything was wonderful and the beds were so so comfortable. Perfect place...thank you.

It is a beautiful house with everything we needed. Beds were comfortable and the views were amazing! Close to everything in Eastsound.

We enjoyed our brief little island getaway. The rental kitchen was wonderfully stocked and we enjoyed cooking in and staying cozy. The location can’t be beat! The bakery was a short stroll down the street - perfect for Sunday morning pastries. The host was very responsive and we had everything we needed. The beautiful park across the street was a bonus!

Would stay again. Room was clean. Beds were comfortable. We had everything we needed from garbage bags to laundry soap. Only thing i wish we had was more than four towels. I had to wash them every time we needed a clean towel. Amazing location. Beach was beautiful and pool was fantastic. Went to Dukes twice, food was good. Parking was limited- if you didn’t have a space before 7pm we had to park on street and walk all the way around resort back to room. Kids loved all the cats around. Surprisingly quiet despite lots of kids/families. Perfect walking distance to grocery store and food truck court. Loved Slappy Cakes across the street.

Across the street from the water, and within 2ish blocks from all of the shops and restaurants. And only 15 minutes from ferry dock as well as 15 minutes from Moran State Park. Would stay here again for sure.

Enjoyed our stay and loved the location

The captain's suite was perfect for our extended weekend trip. The best parts of the condo were the open kitchen and high ceilings. Additionally, the property managers were very responsive and assisted with all our needs.

This is right in downtown Eastsound and walking distance to anything in town. The condo is exactly as advertised. I found the pictures online a little disorienting but from the entry the dining table is off to the left and the kitchen to the right, one bedroom is ahead, second bedroom is just to the right, and the bath is in the hall further to the right leading to the room with the fireplace and windows facing the street. The only downside of the location is that you're in the flightpath of planes landing and taking off with the second being much louder and starting fairly early - it wasn't bad. Every single car on Orcas also drives past but it's not noisy - just makes for a bit of frogger at peak times because the sidewalk disappears on that side of the street. The local contact is very responsive (15 min!) and handled all issues quickly and owner responded as well. We were there on perhaps the hottest days of the year (85F) and it did get hot inside but if you open all the windows in the AM the ocean breeze cools the condo and then you need to shut them all as it warms up outside. We brought Kayaks and were able to cart them across the street and launch from the beach with a short scramble down a few rocks. The beach is swimmable but the water was very green - there's a public pocket beach on the left side of the bay which is better. I've never seen real china in a VRBO! Beds were very comfortable and sleeper is OK for an adult.

Our family of four really enjoyed our stay. Very well cared for and clean. Nice big kitchen and laundry. Wish we could have stayed longer to test out the jet tub.

The property, unit and location was wonderful. The huge disappointed was the wheelchair accessibility. I reserved the Captains Suite over a year ago because it said wheelchair accessibility which is what I needed for my elderly mom. Unfortunately the only accessibility was the bathroom. The beds are almost three feet high, which there was no way my mom could get up there. Connie was wonderful and removed the box-spring and just had the mattress so my Mom could sleep on it(the fold out bed bed in the living room was not an option as I laid on it and it was so uncomfortable). The table and chairs are bar height, so we had to have all our meals on the couch.

We enjoyed our stay. The condo was very clean and comfortable. The one thing is that the beds are very, very tall. There was a stool in one bedroom but we had 3 short people staying and it would have been helpful to have at least one stool in each room

Perfect location from which to cross the street and spend hours at the beach or stroll into town - beautifully maintained property!

We loved staying at this property. Beautiful view out of the living room! The location was great. It was a quick walk to restaurants and shops, and there was a beach across the street, which was fun to explore. The unit was very clean and organized. Having extra blankets, pillows and towels was nice. The laundry was convenient and easy to use, and I appreciated that there was detergent available for us. I think the only con was that there weren't any darkening shades in the living room. Our son slept there and it was bright as day when he went to bed. Luckily he's a good sleeper, but something more than a sheer curtain would have been nice. The owners had great communication and gave very detailed instructions for accessing the unit. They were also super helpful with answering questions regarding making a ferry reservation. Overall, I highly recommend this unit!
