We really enjoyed the cottage. It was everything we had hoped for and then some. The remodeling, the decorating, and the landscaping were all delightful. There was a lot of attention to detail…fresh flowers, coffee, chocolates, and soaps…above and beyond. A partial view of the water, a secluded fire pit, and quiet neighborhood. We were even able to watch Eastsound’s July 4th fireworks from the patio! I wish all rentals were this nice!

The best thing about this place is the view. Great backyard with garden and water view and a fire pit. Will be coming back soon! Nicole the host was very communicative and the instructions were very clear in the messages.

This cottage is true to what it’s named…cozy. Nicole is a wonderful host and very quick to respond with any questions. Coming from the city, this mother-in-law suite was the perfect setting to unwind and relax. Thank you for a wonderful experience!

This was just the right size for our 2 night getaway. Very clean. It's well suited for 2 people and you have the space to cook if you desire. The outdoor space is lovely. Very close to town. Walkable if you're game for the uphill walk home.

really enjoyed the thought that was put into the apartment. very comfortable with quality amenities. yard is beautiful.
the only thing i would change would be to eliminate the use of plug in room freshener, it was quite strong and hard for the person with perfume allergies.

The cottage is just as pictured in the listings. It is so perfect with everything that your could need and more. Lots of extra little touches. It was very well planned and really nice. The view is beautiful. We really enjoyed our stay.

Our lower level studio room is ideal for a couple. The decor is lovely, the linens are great, and it is just darn comfortable. The coffee is greatly appreciated, as were two chocolates. Don’t hesitate to book this one!

Great little basement apartment. Had a very new feel, was super clean, and had everything we needed. A couple minutes from Eastsound which had everything we needed. Great back porch area to stargaze.

Absolutely loved this property! Spent a long weekend on Orcas Island for a wedding. Of any rental I've ever stayed in, I greatly appreciated all of the additional amenities, kitchen items, toiletries, etc. that the host included. The only few things I would recommend adding are a full length mirror and a pair of scissors, but that's being really picky :) Otherwise, the space for 2 people was perfect, bed was comfortable, and the view/scenery was just lovely, and it's a great location in town.

Overall beautiful and very clean accommodates. Perfect for 2 people. Gardens are immaculate. Located on steep hill, arrive before dark to get your bearings. Host provided surprise welcome gifts of coffee, chocolate and wine! Close to town but unfortunately in off-season most places were closed. I would stay here again.

We had a great time staying at this cottage on Orcas visiting family. Nice place with a good view and some outdoor space. Super close to downtown and you can even rent the upstairs house if you have a larger group. We arrived at night and the main road quickly turns to a dirt road with a few steeper parts but it was much easier to navigate during daytime. Not really an easy walk to downtown but still an awesome location. We would certainly stay there again!

This is such a lovely find near Eastsound. It has all the things you need and the communication was excellent. Nicole was also incredibly generous when the ferries were cancelled and she let us stay longer when we were suddenly without a spot to land. This is my second time here, and I would definitely come again.

This was impeccable and beautifully decorated. My husband and I stayed 3 nights and it wasn’t long enough! Nicole was easy to reach and very accommodating, even though she was not on the property. Highly recommend.

Eastsound get away
We loved this property. Beautifully designed and decorated. Lovely bedding, comfy chairs, beautiful garden outlook, quality amenities. If you don't have any mobility issues it is a nice walk to town, but if you don't do hills, or have other mobility issues it is a very short drive. Either way, a wonderful spot.

Perfect, tranquil and well-equipped
I stayed here with my 98 yo mom. It was perfect. The setting is lovely and the place is so clean and efficiently and well-equipped. The owner was also excellent at communicating with us. We will be back!

Lovely Retreat
From being greeted at the front door by the fragrant daphne plant, to the chocolates and coffee waiting on the table, to the beautiful water views over the tranquil garden, Bramble Cottage was all I had hoped for. Very well thought out space, comfy, quiet, clean, and well appointed. Great proximity to Eastsound in a quiet neighborhood. The perfect little get-away.

Spent two nights with a friend and this cute little space with a lovely view! Just a few minutes from downtown Eastsound. We loved the comfy chairs, the quiet location and the view of the water each morning!

Small place near Eastsound
This is a lovely property with a very thoughtful host. We really enjoyed our stay and benefitted from many extras, including fresh local eggs upon our arrival. I would rate this property with five stars except that it is a bit pricey for the amount of space. A 10% lower nightly rate would make more sense. However, it is a cozy, well-maintained property and we appreciated our thoughtful and responsive host.

What a wonderful, romantic spot! The unit is cute as can be with no detail overlooked! Towels are fluffy, bed is so wonderfully comfortable, kitchen is stocked with all tools needed for meal prep.
Strong wifi…good enough to support my husband’s attendance at an online virtual conference for a few hours daily (from comfy swivel armchairs, while looking over the beautiful landscaping, towards the water).
Yes, the road in and out of the little neighborhood is somewhat steep but while walking it a number of times, we were surprised that the returns up are not as hard as we’d expected.
This rental is now #1 on the list for future Orcas visits!

We had a nice time. The property is small but very pretty and has everything u need. The garden and patio are lovely. Also there is a view of the bay.
The property is close to town however the road up and down to the house are very steep.

wonderful home
this lower unit was beautifully decorated, lacked in nothing, and was even better because of the beautiful yard. It's close to the center of Eastsound. A bald eagle visited and I definitely found peace while there.

Great family getaway with a little one.
We love coming to Orcas Island in the off-ish season. This was a great stay. It was very convenient to Eastsound. It was quiet. We enjoyed some family campfire story time in the backyard. The little bed nook was perfect for our three year-old. Highly recommend.
