Excellent location and well-appointed for a family trip. Only reason I can't leave a 5-star review is due to the overly-extensive check-out instructions and intrusive check-in process. Our reservation was nearly cancelled due to not filling out form-based information that came from a non-VRBO associated email address for the property. This appeared to be spam at first glance. I also received numerous automated text messages from the property management company. Not sure what these accomplished. Also, the last thing we wanted to be doing on the morning of checkout with elderly grandparents/small children is spend 1-2 hours cleaning, stripping sheets, taking all garbage out, etc. This is not hospitable particularly when guests are treating the property with respect and it is being left in a condition of normal use. Please consider revising these policies. They will make me evaluate other options for vacation rentals for future trips to HH.

Fantastic pet friendly property with a nice private backyard and pool. Private beach access was a very short walk from the house. Overall, we had a great time and loved the property.

Gave 4 stars for maintenance because the pool had not been cleaned. Pine needles clogged the filter inlet which we cleaned out. Finally called VHHH which responded quickly to our request. The pool is surrounded by pine trees which drop needles continuously.

It was so nice to find a place to accommodate us all. This home is on one floor and has two separate living areas which worked out perfectly with our18 month old granddaughter. Everything was very clean and decorated beautifully. We really appreciated the artwork and the color selection. The pool was very inviting and it was a short walk to the beach. Twin bedrooms were a little smal but adequate. Bedding was very nice and pretty. Would highly recommend staying there

Lots of room in this home, we never felt crowded. Gorgeous inside and out, with an artists flair for décor. The pool and hot tub were great to relax in after a day at the beach. We enjoyed many family meals on the screened in porch and enjoyed hearing the ocean every evening. Private fenced-in back yard was ideal for our pups to enjoy their vacation too! The very short walk to the beach made this location ideal. We will definitely be returning next year!

We really liked the interior of the house, it was very comfortable with a few things that could use some attention but overall happy. We were disappointed that the hot tub wouldn't work as we paid extra to have it. The water wouldn't heat up and it took a couple days to have it addressed, but even after the company came to look at the issue, it wasn't resolved. The house is an excellent short walk to a private gate that leads to the beach. Everything we needed was only a 5-10 minute drive away.

All the reviews were correct about the property. The house was clean with everything we needed from brooms to dishes and other cooking aids. Our kids were looking forward to the heat for the spa but the gas was turned off. My only complaint would be that the outside needed some attention with regards to the grass, shrubs and a couple of pads needed replaced at the foot of the steps - just some outside tlc.

We traveled with another family and the setup of having a second separate living area and kitchen was perfect for us. The home was very clean and even had the little details that made traveling with kids easier (step stools for kids to reach bathroom sinks, baby gates, blackout curtains in kids rooms, etc). The management company was very responsive to any questions/needs we had and addressed them immediately. The proximity to the beach was a block away and was so easy to walk to. We enjoyed the private access and less crowded beaches. The Folly Fields area is in a central location and close to shopping and restaurants but also tucked inside a quiet neighborhood. It is also only 2 blocks from a walking/running/biking trail. The backyard is completely private with an outdoor shower which made it super easy to clean the sand off of the kids upon returning from the beach. The pool was large and got a lot of use during our stay. The connected hot tub and the waterfall were nice touches. We also enjoyed the large screened-in porch - for evening adult drinks, a lunch break from the pool, and an extra common space. Overall, we had a great week and were thrilled with the house! This is the second time staying in the Folly Fields area and would most definitely come back to 30 Moonshell.

The property was perfect for us! It was just me and my fiancé plus my dog and we like to spread out so it was great for us. The place was clean. The pool and screened in porch are amazing features.
