with entering the condo the smell was so so musty. the condo was clean, couple of chairs in the living room needs replaced, they was torn and dirty. the beds are not so comfortable, couldn`t wait to get back in my own bed at home. the bbq grill would not come on, had to call Maintence, they came and said the burners needed replaced. the large balcony was closed off and we could not play games the whole vacation. the appliances was great, especially the ice maker, they do need to add Keurig coffee pot or combo. the lazy river and pools was cold for half our vacation due to breaker boxes blowing fuses, but they did turn electric off one night and resolve this issue. i did see but above the ice maker that looked similar to roach but not sure, only one. NO i will not stay with turquoise place again. back to destin beach next year.

Spacious, fun condo/area

The property was advertised as having an extra balcony, overlooking the bay. 8 days before arrival, I received an email stating that balcony was unusable. I feel I should have been notified of this as soon as I booked the unit, instead they allowed me to make all payments and pass up the cancellation date to make me aware. Also, the method used to block off that balcony was four rusty metal bars, 2x4s, and duct tape. Not only was this unsightly, it looked as if it would fall over any minute, and standing by it while cooking on the grill was worrisome. The toilets in the unit were also a problem. The master bathroom toilet wouldn’t flush so we called maintenance. After 8 hours of waiting, no one came. We ended up figuring the problem out ourselves, but then two other toilets stopped flushing the next day. We called maintenance again, and they finally came out to fix the problems. We used the grill the first night and it almost caught fire. Before putting food on the grates we heated up the grill to burn off all of the excess food caked onto the grates, but even that didn’t stop the flames from catching onto the grease around the burners. Be careful if you use that grill. Overall, the kitchen and bedrooms were nice and the extra interior space of this unit was a plus, but I would not stay in this unit again unless the management company assured me the other balcony was usable and the plumbing had been properly overseen. All in all, this unit is NOT worth the extra money.

The condo and Turquoise property were exceptionally clean, and the front desk staff was always helpful and friendly.

We love coming to Orange Beach/Gulf Shores and have for years. Turquoise Place Has really nice amenities and is close to Perdido Pass to see boats etc. Our unit is touted as high-end luxury and it looks like it from the outside. The furniture in our unit is old and badly worn/torn/scratched. I even went to their office during our stay and showed them all the pictures. The beds were very uncomfortable and looked like OLD matressses- kids even complained. The floor to ceiling curtains had holes and stains on a number of them. Kitchen table had a door stop under it to level the table. All the chairs at the bar and table are a pleather material and are all cracked and worn. No cushions on the 2 chaise loungers on the patio so we couldn't use them- way too uncomfortable. The patio cushions on the 2 chairs and loveseat are old, dirty and missing the buttons so there were holes in them. One of the bathroom doors was replaced and never painted. Tile flooring cracked all over. Water damage area in kids bedroom window not fixed. Family room set cushions worn and thin. One of the 2 barrel chairs is torn in 2 places. The kitchen is very nice and well appointed for sure. Plenty of utensils and plates etc. The bathrooms were very nice. For the luxury money charged, this unit really needs a full refurb. Everything looks old and shows it. You can tell because the lighting and kitchen furniture all match the lobby stuff so that means it was all purchased at the same time. We really hope the owner gets the pics and works on this or we would not rent this unit again. We still had fun with our family and made great memories!!!

This property looks amazing in the photos but in reality the furniture is very worn, stains and tears on some pieces and the curtains have stains all along the bottoms. Some of the lights fixtures were out and property manager said they don’t have those bulbs in stock. The hot tub was filthy - didn’t get serviced until our last day. There was ONE wine glass in the cabinet. 9 adults brought many bottles of nice wine !! For this price I’d expect to have some decent wine glasses . Lastly , we rented this unit partially for the oversized balcony , which was closed off with some hideous looking poles and wood concoction. Nobody told us the balcony was not in service when we resented the unit.. This unit definitely needs some love.

Two thirds of the deck was closed for repairs , ice machine not working , hot tub had not been cleaned or maintained,(beach sand in hot tub and water level too low ). Dirty coffee cup that had clearly been used back up in cabinet. Maintenance repair man rude and surrley with guests. I was not informed of the ongoing repairs or non functioning equipment which if I was told , Also there was no adjustment in the cost for the unit. I would have booked a different unit. The unit is beautiful , spacious and well appointed.

The condo is big and spacious with beautiful views. When we were trapped inside because of weather, we actually had a good time. The check-in process was a little problematic. But that got resolved eventually, and everything from there went well.

Checkin was very easy. Once we entered the property it was very clean. The view was amazing. My only complaint was that the balcony could not be fully accessed, due to repairs from Hurricane Sally. And we also had maintenance coming daily to check balcony, due to safety hazards, not the the most convenient. Overall a great stay!

The balcony was under construction and we were unable to access many parts of it. The hot tub and ice maker did not work.

The furniture was in great shape and the condo was immaculately clean. We so enjoyed our Christmas here. One of the things that always worries me is if the mattresses are going to be comfortable and I must say, we all slept SO WELL. We will definitely be going back.

Absolutely beautiful condo! Perfect location too. We enjoyed the enormous balcony to view the ocean and the bay. We were also able to see the firetruck when the alarm went off on another floor. We grilled, used the hot tub, enjoyed the beach and the cabana for drinks. Loved the decor! I'm a Real Estate Agent so I see a lot of properties. Yours is fabulous! We will come again. This condo was amazing. It is on the 6th floor with a great view. Easy walk to the pools, beach and fun!

Property exceeded expectations. Can't wait to rent it again next year.

This property is beautiful but paying this amount of money, you would think that the owners would invest in better mattresses. I had the master bedroom and ended up sleeping on the sofa. That was disappointing. Ended up buying a mattress topper to make it through the week.

This is our second year staying in this condo and it is absolutely beautiful. The amenities at the resort are awesome, condo is clean and comfortable with beautiful furnishings. We will definitely be back again!

Only grip that we had was that the hot tub did not get hot. We checked in at 4:17pm. We went to bed at 12 am the hot tub had only heated up to 88 degrees. We checked out at 9am it had got up 94. The set point was 104. We had a electrician look at it. Was told that the hot tub needs to be on a bigger amp.

We had the best time staying at this property. It was so nice to have the amount of space to move about with children in ages of 10 months to 10 years old. I will definitely book this property again. Thanks

Condo was awesome. Great views from the balcony and easy access to the beach. We had 8 adults and a 2 year old and there was plenty of room for everyone.

The condo was perfect for our family of 5 plus 4 grandparents! Luxury coastal vacations was great to work with, exceeded expectations!

Beautiful condo with a fantastic company running the show!

My family has been coming to The Turquoise Place for 5 years for a week during Thanksgiving. This is their Christmas present. We loved the condo especially the huge deck. Weather was nice, and my wife and I stayed 16 days. We're spoiled by the living conditions in C601. Already talking about next year.
