We have stayed at this property numerous times. It is like going home. The house is clean and comfortable and equipped with all that is needed for a fun trip. Hope to stay again. Missy is such an accommodating host and is easy to get in touch with if needed.

This is our 2nd time staying in this house in the past 6 months. This time we had my sister from CA come. We had an absolute amazing time. Only 2 things were the Keurig did not work nor did the outside lights going the whole way down the whole row of the 3 houses so we always walked to the right of the house and down to go fishing at night. But overall an awesome time had by all. We will of course be back.

Seems house has electric problems with garage door and elevator. Renter’s next door were loud and disturbed our sleep. Overall a C- rating.

Highly recommend this quiet place in the cove of Laguna Harbor! Me and my 3 boys went to relax and fish and that's exactly what we did Very quiet. Perfect location. House was very clean and the owner explained everything to do so we had zero complications. We will stay here again and highly recommend it!

The kids has a great time catching fish after fish after fish. They caught a few blue crabs too, and we got to see a dolphin only about 10' from the seawall. Location is isolated and we pretty much had the nearby beach all to ourselves. Fantastic place to stay if you want a quiet family vacation especially if your kids (or grandkids!) like to fish and hang out at the beach. Missy is a great host and her helpful replies are always only a couple minutes away.

We really enjoyed our stay here! Nice house, great location away from all the crowded "beach houses". The setup on the canal was perfect for the guys to fish right off the porch and boardwalk - especially after their fishing captain canceled their bay charter. We even saw dolphins while sitting out on the balcony! The kitchen & living room area was fantastic. And the elevator was a life saver! Missy was a great host! We will definitely book here again.

Missy was very friendly and helpful. The house is spotless, like hospital clean. The house is filled with wonderful decor as well. Great views and great neighborhood. We had an awesome time.

overall it's just a ok house without surprise. we have me following situation 1) only a trash bag provide for 3-nights stay for 6 people 2) no toaster provided 3) a big cockroach(1 inch) show up in the master bed at night - two seniors had to fight with it for a hour 4) living room A/C almost had no way to lower the temp to 75F when outside about 90F 5) too old sofa bed with a big spot of unknown stain on mattress. 6) first level lights off (broken) - house issue and all street lights off(broken) along the canal bank - community issue

We enjoyed how quiet and peaceful the location of the house was. We enjoyed fishing off the back porch and taking a short drive down to the beach. The house was beautiful and had all the necessities of home for our stay. We would definitely stay again.

Very accommodating we had a great stay had some issues with Electric plugs and lighting but Missy made sure it was repair for us . Caught a lot of crabs and made a delicious Gumbo. Very serene and private. We would rent again.....

We truly enjoyed our stay. The home was beautiful, clean, well equipped and comfortable. The owner was very responsive to any and all questions. Location is quiet, right on the water and the views are great! Having the small elevator proved to be a life saver for my husband who has some knee issues and also made bringing groceries up a breeze. It is close to the ferry, so it was very convenient to drive aboard and head to Galveston. Close to beaches, The Big Store, shopping and restaurants that make Crystal Beach a great vacation spot. Hoping the owner will update the sofa sleeper mattress for future guests as it was quite flat at the time of our visit in July 2018 . We did not use the sofa as a bed but with the other beds and cute sleeping nook, we were well accommodated. Overall, we loved it and if we can, we will come and stay again! Thank you!

We had a great time...loved the view of the canal and we caught a TON of fish. Saw some Dolphins swimming in the canal. The place was great also. Plenty of room we loved the big island. House Is decorated so nice We will be back for sure. Had only a couple minor issues with washer but that was handled. We will be back for sure

This waterfront retreat home at Crystal Beach is amazing. The home is beautiful, inviting, and comfortable. Our family was so impressed by everything. From the large open space layout of the living room, dining area, kitchen and long kitchen bar eating area. The many windows to receive natural light and views of each floors patio areas off the living room and master bedroom were exceptional. The comfortable plush beds were a dream. The bathrooms are spacious, with showers in each, and the master bath's jacuzzi tub is so relaxing after a day of touring the island. The patios offer a wonderful relaxing and inviting area with quality and sturdy outdoor furniture to enjoy the views and watch the boats and ships pass by on the canals. The kitchen has a gas chefs stove and oven which we used to prepare quiches for breakfast and warm up evening meals. The air conditioner was cold and worked great for the hot July days and the ceiling fans were quiet and felt so good. The best part about this retreat home was the concrete back deck to the canal for our boys to fish from dawn til dusk. They caught so much fish and had fun with finding out what type of fish they would bring up from the ocean canal. Even watching jelly fish swim around the canal was interesting and educational to watch. Overall we can not say enough great things about this rental home. And the owner, Missy, was exceptional. We highly recommend this home to anyone wanting a spa like retreat with a beautiful tranquil and quiet vacation area. Thank you Missy for sharing your amazing home with our family. Ali Marshall
