Great for our family get away

Summerwinds has been one of our favorite vacation destinations for over 30 years. Everything is on-site, beach, indoor and outdoor pools, tennis, basketball and hot tubs. The condos are spacious with easy access to the beach. The only thing we don't like is being 15-20 minutes from grocery stores and restaurants with 35 mph speed limit.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We have stayed at Summer Winds many (15?) times and this was our second time in unit 201. The unit is in a great location and, while the unit has had a little wear and tear, it is well equipped and we love the layout. The cleaning company did not leave the unit clean so we did some cleaning ourselves. Our Realty World agent, Annette, was VERY helpful and did everything she could to make our stay comfortable. All of the appliances worked great, especially the washer and dryer.

Second stay at this rental. Beach front and we’ll appointed unit for a very comfortable stay. Love the balcony for morning coffee and evening cocktail.

Very easy to go up to the room throughout the day. Pools are lovely. Beach is nice and not too crowded! Hot tub was great too.

It had everything we needed wanted: indoor/outdoor pool, game room, basketball court, and the beach! Condo was clean and spacious. Location was right near putt putt, restaurants, the Aquarium, etc. We met friendly people and had a ball. The place is a little dated, but the 1985 vibe suited us perfectly. Highly recommend.

The only downside was we had to supply everything, from dish soap and bathroom hand soap to coffee filters and napkins. Other than those minor inconveniences, I couldn't ask for a more perfect family vacation spot. We will definitely be visiting again!

There are a few things that need attention; the bed pillows are beyond their life expectancy, the shower head in the Jack and Jill bathroom leaks and the multiple remote controls for both TY’s should be replaced with universal remotes. Trying to figure how to use the televisions ended up in shear frustration and resorted to reading a book! Check in process was seamless the checkout process is an inconvenience. The realty company expects you to return the keys instead of allowing their housekeeping staff to bring them back to them, resulting in you having to drive 12 miles north when your destinations is south.

The view was breathtaking. Vey nice facility with a lot to offer. Short walk to the beach-had s great time. Weather wasn’t the greatest but we had a blast.

I was very pleased with this beach condo - it was EXACTLY as described and as you see in the pictures! It's 2nd floor and oceanfront....it's SO CLOSE to the ocean it feels like you're standing on the beach! I loved it. Came for a work vacation and the internet connection was excellent. The management company was great, too. I didn't realize the indoor pool + hot tub would be open, but there were lots of people in there having fun - next time I'll hop on down! I'll be back! :)
