Location is perfect! Unit is laid out great for two families to still have some privacy. Amenities at the resort are good and will be even better when pool renovations are completed. Ellen is an excellent host and very responsive! Will return to this unit

The condo is very spacious and comfortable with all the needed amenities. The Villamare property is very clean and well kept. A short walk to the beach or the pool. Also walkable to many Palmetto Dunes hot spots. We had a great stay over Labor Day weekend. Ellen, the owner, was very communicative and responsive to any of our questions. We provided some feedback on the cleaning crew but not an issue.

This condo is very clean, updated, and decorated well. It is nicely furnished and the beds are comfortable. There are family board games for nights in. We had a great experience. The owner was responsive and provided information regarding area activities. Overall it was great in meeting our needs.

This was the perfect condo experience! It was an amazing location with great facilities and close access to the beach! The Palmetto Dunes facility had great walking paths to get around the complex. Great location on the Island. The condo was very clean and spacious! Everything was great and the process was super easy for checking in and out. Ellen was super helpful and was very good at communicating throughout. Would highly recommend this rental to anyone with a family! It made it the perfect First Vacation for our new family!

The condo was very spacious, updated and very clean. We appreciated having space for everyone to spread out and enjoyed the balconies and kitchen. The beach is only a few minute's walk away and lots to do in Palmetto Dunes. Ellen was wonderful to work with too. We really enjoyed our stay!

We had a fantastic stay! The condo was clean and spacious. The walk to the pool and beach wasn’t bad. The kitchen had everything we needed and the washer and dryer worked so well! Ellen was very responsive when we noticed that both toilet seats were broken upon arrival. She was so friendly and worked quick to fix it! We would definitely stay again!

All was good at the condo. The batteries need to be changed in the remotes. And we questioned if the quilts in the spare bedroom are getting washed with each guest.

Enjoyed our stay very much. Condo is lovely, clean, well appointed & comfortable. The pool & hot tub were great, short walk to the beach & parking garage. We would definitely stay here again without hesitation.

Nice washer, dryer, dishwasher and fridge, 2 balconies, close walk to the pool and beach is right behind the pool. First time in the Villamare complex and we enjoyed it.

We had an excellent stay at Viilamare. The condo was just as described. The kitchen was well stocked. The beds were extremely comfortable! Communication with Ellen was excellent. Very responsive. The pool at the complex was great. Plenty of chairs. The beach- absolutely perfect! We can’t wait to go back!

Very, nice property. Extremely well maintained. Has all the appliances, dish ware, utensils, pots and pans, etc. that you would need - per the property description. The owner is also very responsive to any questions you might have. If we come back to HHI, this is the place we will try to stay.

This condo is tastefullly decorated, not too beachy as many are and very comfortable. It’s a great location, the beach is beautiful and the sunsets and sunrises spectacular. We did have an issue with the tv but Ellen was extremely attentive.

The owner was very quick to respond and super helpful with providing all the info we needed for our stay. The complex is right on the ocean with an indoor and outdoor pool as well. The condo was very clean and had all we needed. Checkout was easy too! We’d for sure come back!

We so enjoyed our stay at Villamare. The property is beautiful and although our unit wasn't beach front, it was a short, easy walk to the beach. The unit is lovely, clean and comfortable. Ellen has a folder that gives directions for the TV (so often lacking and very necessary for those of us that rarely use a remote)and other unit info, plus ideas for activities and restaurants around the island. We went kayaking on Broad Creek and saw dolphins and other wildlife. We also took a sunset dolphin ride on a small Carolina Skiff where we could bring our own food and drinks. We were so fortunate to have absolutely beautiful beach weather. Lovely sunrises and sunset and lots of walking and riding bikes on the beach. We would definitely stay here again.

Another great stay in Villa Mare. Immaculate condo, view of ocean, everything you need for a vacation. Ellen is continually updating and improving the condo. She is always available for your questions and stays in contact with you before, during and after your stay. Close to shopping and restaurants but nestled away from traffic and on the beach. Buildings, grounds and beach immaculately maintained. So happy we found this rental and will never stay anywhere else on HHI.

There were some fruit flies in the unit, perhaps the last renters didn’t run the disposal or something else, but we managed just fine. A fantastic experience overall! Would 100% return.

The location of the Villimare complex and the cleanliness and comfort of the condo made our vacation literally perfect. We walked the beach every morning, hit the gym, and could ride our rented bikes anywhere we wanted to go. I haven't been to the Island in 10 years, and now would like to come back on a regular basis and stay in the same spot.

We had a terrific stay at Villamare 2517 when we needed a break from the Northeast weather. The unit is so well-designed for ease of use and privacy, with bedrooms on opposite sides of the central kitchen-living-dining room space. Our teenagers even had their own doorway off the entryway so we didn't hear their music at night. Two balconies with beach views, functional kitchen with a handy bar for passing food over, and nice big, modern washer-dryer combo that worked beautifully. The beds and sofas were very comfortable, showers nice and hot and strong. The place was sparkling clean and just a short walk through Villamare to the most gorgeous beach. We had a terrific time relaxing, biking, walking and playing. We were a bit nervous about the elevator since we're covid cautious but whenever we were going down and the door opened, the other residents / guests said they would take the next car. Maybe they saw our masks and realized we were being super careful. Everyone was polite and friendly. We didn't use the pools or communal hot tub because of covid, but the other guests seemed to be having fun. The only tiny flaw in our stay was trying to figure out the dishwasher - it didn't seem to clean effectively when we loaded the little container with soap - but once we figured out to pour soup in the bottom of the unit, it worked beautifully. Communication with the host was flawless. She was very responsive and she helped us figure out the dishwasher with concern and compassion. (And even had a neighbor bring over extra dishwasher soap within about 10 minutes of us mentioning the problem.) Wonderful experience overall. We would love to return!
