The online listing does not do this property justice. It is in a great location of Palmetto Dunes - the kids loved riding their bikes to the General Store and Shelter Cove. This is the best equipped rental we have ever stayed in…anywhere. Anything you could possibly need in the kitchen (and outdoor grill) made Thanksgiving a breeze. Spacious enough to fit extended family. We loved it & will definitely be back!

We loved our stay at 3 Starboard Tack! The house had everything we needed. We have never stayed in a rental property with such a well-stocked kitchen. The ping pong table provided hours of fun. I highly recommend renting bikes with a cart to get the beach. It’s a very quick bike ride and you can bring your bikes on to the beach with you. Plantation Dunes is a very nice community and if we go back to Hilton Head, we would rent this property again.

Extremely well furnished and most comfortable house. The kitchen, in particular, was better equipped than any other VRBO property we've ever rented. The location was quite convenient and very quiet. No fault of the owner or VRBO, but we don't enjoy being paired with strangers when playing golf, which is standard practice at the better Hilton Head courses, so doubt we'll return.

This was our first time staying in Palmetto Dunes and the first time to HH for many. The house was very comfortable and spread our nicely so we didn’t feel crowded at all. The loft upstairs was great for the kids as was the pool room downstairs. We also loved the ping pong table. Kitchen was well equipped with ample seating for all guests. Walk to the beach was about 10 minutes. Highly recommend getting a beach cart. We also rode bikes to the beach which was easy the beach was large and very private. Kids even brought kids to where we were sitting and there was plenty of room. The closest people in the beach were 25 feet away so not crowded at all like some of the public beach areas. Also the waves were very calm (I didn’t realize this about HH) and beaches were huge in the afternoon when we go (we get there around 12). One negative was that you had to pay extra for the hot tub. We didn’t end up turning it on. Overall - we all loved the house and had a great time!

The walk to the beach was about 10 minutes and a bit challenging in heat carting all the beach gear - but found we could drop off some of our party with the gear closer to beach which made the walk much more bearable. And it was certainly worth it as the beach was beautiful with lots of space to spread out from the few other beach goers that were there. Hilton Head Properties very responsive.

Clean, beautifully furnished home with comfortable beds, great Large kitchen that was well stocked. Great pool & patio. Darcy at HH properties was wonderful to work with. She is fantastic!

The place is clean, has a great location and it is 10-15 min walk to the beach.

Our family of 9 (grandparents, parents, grandkids) really enjoyed our stay here as each family unit had their own bedroom/bathroom combo. The pool and property amenities were quite nice. We accessed the beach easily via bicycles and had a really fun stay.

This was a lovely home. We enjoyed a family celebration of my 60th birthday and had a wonderful time. The home was very comfortable and well appointed. My only complaint would be the cleanliness of the pool area.

Home was awesome. One glitch: when we arrived to get car pass at 7:00 pm, it was not in the place where Tyler said it should be. After knocking on the Real Estate window someone came & helped us make phone calls to Marcy & Tyler to get us car pass. Problem was finally resolved for us weary travelers.

The home was clean, very well stocked with all of the essentials. Nice pool - shady and sunny areas, separated room for wet bathing suits to hang. Game room, upstairs loft great for teens. Close to beach - would recommend highly!

Great house , well maintained , stocked with everything needed for a fun family vacation! Nothing beats a good place place stay, w/pool & hot tub, after a day of golf on HHI! We had a great week and look forward to coming back next year! Darcey did a great job for us!

This home is awesome! It was the best equipped VRBO I’ve ever stayed in. You could cook gourmet meals in the kitchen with all the high quality cookware. It was nice to have choices of plastic tableware and drinkware to use by the pool. All the bedrooms were beautiful and having a bathroom with each one is great. Would stay here again! Two things that keep this from being a 5 star rating was the lack of a bathroom on the walkout level to use while lounging by the pool. Second, we paid extra to have the pool and hot tub heated and the pool was dirty/cloudy and unusable for the first 24-36 hours of our stay and the hot tub would not heat up for the last 24 hours of our stay. We specifically searched for a house with these features and with paying a lot to have them heated I would have expected them to be in great shape upon arrival. Also, there didn’t seem to be a contact you could reach 24 hours a day if you had a problem.

This house was perfect for my 60th BD celebration! Great space! The only issue we had was, with heating the hot tub, in the beginning, which I had to pay for. There are instructions, however if you push a button a couple of times and don’t realize it, then you don’t know what mode you are in. The house had absolutely everything you could ever need! Overall experience was amazing! Hilton Head has always been one of our favorite spots!
