Great home for 4 friend weekend. Paul and Anita's home was exactly as described and just right for our needs. Super clean and organized. They were lovely to deal with.
Will definitely use again if in Eau Claire.

Very clean, tastefully decorated and very secluded even though you are basically in town. Saw turkey and deer wondering around. The hosts were quite friendly and easily reachable if you needed them for any reason. Will be staying there again.

We were visiting Eau Claire for a bit of a getaway. This location was quiet, comfortable, and matched our needs perfectly! Highly recommended for a quiet, low key retreat.

We stayed here to accommodate MIL vs a hotel. My husband is extremely picky and he could not say enough good things about this property. So close to everything, yet far enough away to enjoy the wildlife. We were greeted by 2 deer and the next morning 6 of them were hanging out next to the driveway!

The home was laid out so well for us and had everything you could possibly need for a 3 day stay to relax and visit.
We loved the quiet setting and even saw deer and a wild turkey near by while there.
The hosts were excellent in keeping in touch.

This property was perfect for our family's situation. I came with my husband, teen son, adult daughter and her boyfriend. The bed setup was perfect and everything was just the right size for us. I loved the kitchen, especially when I had to spend the whole day cooking for my family reunion there. Having access to laundry was great for our week stay. Everything was organized so nicely and so clean. I couldn't believe we had so much woods surrounding us in the middle of Eau Claire! And to top it all off, there was a family of 7 deer that greeted us the 1st day and a turkey with her chicks in the front yard every morning! Just awesome!

Loved our stay on Lantern Lane. Perfect house for a vacation week - roomy enough for a family of four, full kitchen to cook, comfortable living room and a/c. Loved only being minutes away from bike trails and the downtown area while still feeling surrounded by nature. Deer grazed on the property every morning- what an enjoyable way to have my morning coffee. Would recommend!

Nice quiet location tucked into the woods with deer and turkey sightings out the window. Place was clean and provided all the necessary amenities. Plenty of room to relax and enjoy and also not far from stores, restaurants, parks, and city life.

The property was nestled on back side of a private gravel road. The property interior was absolutely pristine and well taken care of. The property owners were fantastic - responsive and helpful.

As soon as we arrived we stumbled upon 8 deer in our backyard! This location is close to town but private enough to enjoy yourselves peacefully. The home is beautiful and cozy! The property managers are thoughtful and easy to communicate with. We enjoyed our weekend stay!

My family and I had a great time at this home. It's in the city but in a wooded area so it is very peaceful. The home was beautiful and comfy. We saw some wildlife outside tok! Would definitely recommend if you're needing a place in the area.

We had a wonderful stay at this charming immaculate home. The beds are super comfortable, the kitchen is well stocked, and the living room furniture and view from the large window lends itself to just sit back and relax. The privacy, quietness, and lovely wooded location of the home is superb. Yet, we were only 5 minutes from restaurants and shopping. The owners were great about communicating with us. Check-in was a breeze. Thank you, thank you, thank you for a lovely stay. We’ll definitely be back.

Really enjoyed the facility, it was nice and quiet. Only thing that was a concern was that the bath tub was a bit slippery and should have grippers on the base

I waited to spend my birthday with my daughter, son in law and grandkids. I decided to bring my mom so she could meet her great grandson, who turned 3 the 28th of October. I also wanted to take my mom because of the love I have for her and show her my appreciation for all she has done. I seen this cute house in the woods but close to town and thought why not. We loved it! It is beautiful inside and out. The home owners are very aware of what people need. Seen deer, turkeys and of course squirrels even seen some rabbits. I will be booking this house every time I go back to Wisconsin. Kim (10/18-10/29, 2022)

My husband and I booked this property along with our daughter, her husband and baby for a weekend wedding. The house was the perfect size and was very convenient to the activities we had in the area. However, because of it's location in a quiet section of wooded space it did not feel like we were in the city and was quiet and gorgeous! The hosts were very responsive from the beginning of our booking through our stay, and their house was welcoming and had many extra touches. Would love to stay there again if we needed to be in the area!

Our family had a wonderful stay at this 'wooded retreat'. The location is really amazing, you feel like you're far away in the privacy of the woods but in reality you're 8 min from downtown. The owners have exceptional attention to detail and everything you need is provided. The house is very nice, extremely clean and cozy. There are train tracks that run close to the property so you'll hear it go by but we never heard it blow it's whistle so it wasn't a problem. The wildlife is really fun. We had a deer and her two fawn that visited near by every day. There is also a flock of turkeys that frequently wander around.
Overall our experience was as good as it gets, five stars for sure and we'd love to stay here again.

"in the woods" - but close to everything
We really enjoyed your house for our visit. it felt like an isolated / out of the way property, but we could get everywhere we needed within 15 min. House was very clean, furnishings & appliances were in very good condition. We REALLY appreciated the "extras" - coffee, soap, coffee, paper towels, trash bags & coffee -etc. Also got to see: 1 deer, 1 grey fox, 1 dobson fly (creepy, but cool) and 6 turkeys. Enjoyed our stay very much - we would gladly stay here again.

Unique cabin in the heart of Eau Claire
My husband and I enjoyed a peaceful week at this one-of-a-kind property while our kids were at camp. Literally everything exceeded our expectations, from the attentive and responsive owners to the gorgeous renovations to the spectacular wooded acreage. The cabin itself was clean and cozy with everything we needed to feel at home. The property was secluded while still being in a convenient neighborhood. Deer and wild turkey greeted us outside the window each morning. We will 100% be coming back to stay here the next time we visit Eau Claire.

Woods & Wildlife Viewing
If there were more than 5 stars available in this review, I would use them all. This is a wonderful property, very well stocked, super clean and the hosts are extremely welcoming. We could watch deer and wild turkeys from the windows. A lovely park is nearby with great views of the river. Looking forward to staying here again!

Peaceful home in the Woods
This property is extremely clean, set in a woodsy location, with many opportunities to see deer and other wildlife. Everything we needed, and so many things that were very nice to have, we’re readily available. The hosts are great and I look forward for opportunities to book again.

A lovely, peaceful retreat
We really loved our stay in this great house in the woods! The house is in perfect condition, very clean, and with everything we needed for a very comfortable stay. The owners are very accommodating. A welcome addition was getting to see deer, a wild Turkey and a red fox just by looking out the window! Many thanks!
