Loved this house. The location in Princeville is convenient to everything on the North Shore. The layout was perfect for a family of four. The view is beautiful and the interior decor is modern and clean. We spent lots of time on the patios. The breeze and fans make the house more than comfortable inside and out. We loved every minute of our stay. Thank you!!

Our stay at Melia Kai was amazing. The view from family room was absolutely gorgeous as we had a great view of the sunset every night. The house was set up really well for us and the Weber grill was a huge added bonus that we took full advantage of. Being able to sit in the hot tub in the evenings was also really nice. There were plenty of beach chairs for our family of five and the boogey boards were fun to play with at the beach. Overall great vacation and enjoyed the opportunity to stay at Melia Kai.

We have only positive things to say about this house after staying for a week. Enjoyed having beach accessories available (e.g., beach chairs, umbrella, and boogie boards).

No air conditioner should have been in the notes, beautiful property but rules did not match cleanliness. Multi-million-dollar home with the cheapest toilet paper, paper towels, dishes etc.

An amazing house set in the most beautiful location. The pictures do not do it justice! The windows let all the beauty in. We loved it here. The kids were in the hot tub everyday. The patio is a great spot for coffee or a drink. Walk across the golf course after hours to watch the sun set. Thank you, Meg.

Wonderful home located in a great location with a great view. All to enjoy while relaxing in the hot tub sipping on your favorite drink. The home is clean and well supplied with many essentials. Had some trouble with the WiFi, but host was very responsive and helpful. Would definitely stay again.

Great location - perfect for our family of 4. The home is well-kept, comfortable and comes packed with a ton of nice touches (backpack beach chairs, beach towels, and a number more of other amenities). Highly recommend if you’re looking to stay in the Princeville area!

We had a wonderful stay at Melia Kai. The house was beautiful, clean and well equipped. We enjoyed the easy access to walking trails and watching the albatross in the backyard. It was a wonderful place to rest from our normally hectic lives. Meg was a great host. Hope to be back again.

My husband and I stayed along with his mom and sister, my sister, and her husband. The sleeping arrangement was perfect for our group and the home and location were so stunning. The kitchen was huge and well equipped for the handful of meals we cooked there. We loved the convenience of having beach towels, boogie boards, beach chairs, etc. at the house. Such a nice walk down to watch the sunsets by the cliff and enjoying the view from the lanai. Felt super safe, and although it was a bit far to walk most places, it was a super quick drive to beaches, farmers markets, Hanalei, etc. Meg was extremely kind and flexible, and she went out of her way to help accommodate our schedule. We would highly recommend this home to anyone visiting the Princeville area. It’s an idyllic home base for your relaxation and adventures!

Very nice. All that we expected

The home was beautiful, very clean and convenient. The home owners have outdoor toys and what not to play at the beach which was super appreciated. Only issue I had, I didn’t realize the property didn’t have AC. Apparently a lot of properties don’t because of the trade winds, wasn’t aware going there.

We loved our stay at Melia Kai! This home is in a beautiful neighborhood in the Princevillle area close to several area beaches, a couple of which, are walkable. We had the house for about a week and it comfortably accommodated our family of 5 + MIL. We would love to return someday!

Loved our stay so much. Felt like our home away from home. Backyard is steps from some of the best views in Kauai. We will recommend to friends and family and return asap. Even better than the pictures and hosts are super responsive.

We absolutely loved our stay! The home was in an excellent location with lots of activities close by. Couldn’t beat the views, just fabulous! We had 6 people staying in the house, and there was plenty of room for all of us! Will definitely be back!

We have stayed in this area before, in fact realized on the same street 7 years ago. The location is awesome, quiet and beautiful. We hope to return sometime in the near future!!

Home was in a very tranquil setting and close to many activities. The kitchen had everything you needed to cook family dinners.

This is a beautiful home in the most perfect area! It was the perfect fit for our family and we were very pleased with this selection for our Kauai trip. Sunsets from the property each evening and coffee on the lanai in the morning was one of the best parts of the experience. We also enjoyed being able to walk to Queen's Bath from the property. The home is equipped with everything we needed and it was just a really great experience! Our only negative feedback is that the master bathroom had not been cleaned when we arrived. We purchased cleaning wipes and used some of the supplies available in the home to clean it ourselves but this was somewhat frustrating after such a long trip to get there. The rest of the home was clean and prepared, so I assume this was an oversight and an anomaly, but it was disappointing to us. We also did not have a working dishwasher for the majority of the trip, as an error sign showed up after the first or second load of very minimal dishes. Meg was responsive in trying to get the repairs scheduled but it was not able to be taken care of while we were there which was a bummer. Overall, lovely property, in a great neighborhood, on the MOST BEAUTIFUL island!

A beautiful, well taken care of and spacious home. The views were amazing. We enjoyed watching the albatross mating dance! It was more spacious than it looked online and we only wished we could have stayed longer! It was a great spot for our family (grandparents, us and baby).

This property was everything we were hoping it would be. the location was perfect - a walk away from several snorkeling beaches, golf, farmers market. We couldn't have been happier and the communication with home owners was seamless.

We enjoyed our family vacation with family the flew in from England.

You will not be disappointed if you stay here. Melia Kai is as beautiful as the pictures show! Loved the decor. Beds were super comfortable. Having a cooler, beach towels and beach chairs in the garage for use was super helpful. So many beautiful windows! View along the golf course with the ocean behind it was gorgeous. Peaceful, relaxing. Loved staying on the North Shore. Had a mix of clouds, sun & rain while there so unfortunately did not get to sit out on the lanai as much as I wanted - guess I’ll need to come back! 10/10

We loved our stay at Melia Kai! It was perfect for our family of 4 adults and 1 child. The communication was great, the views are spectacular, we had everything we needed, even received recommendations of what to do on our rainy days. The beach chairs and gear were great for the days we could go to the beach. Would highly recommend this house and look forward to coming back!!!

Gorgeous beautifully updated midcentury home on world class Makai golf course. Quiet neighborhood, located near a few restaurants. Stunning sunsets and gorgeous walks, hikes, beaches are close by. Experience all that the Garden Isle has to offer. Meg is a wonderful owner. Highly recommend this home!

was disappointed the hot tub wasn't working but other than that would recommend the property and would consider returning.

We had a blast! It was a beautiful home with everything we needed. The only downside was that the hot tub was not able to go over 95 degrees and the TV volume wouldn’t work. Luckily we didn’t spend much time around the house since we were right up the road from Hanalei bay! We were lucky enough to watch a group of whales swim by from the cliffs next to the house. Thanks for a great place to stay!

Ou stay was comfortable and relaxing—the house was spacious and very beautifully decorated. We were very close to Hanalei, Anini, where the family went to the beach and dine out many times. It was the perfect house to spend the new years!
