We really enjoyed our stay during the Noque weekend. Close to everything with ample room and even toys for our kids to play with! Dore was a great host and made sure we had everything we needed.

Great Marquette visit during a long weekend for three couples. House was very nice, clean, quiet, and plenty of room. My wife and I came up to visit our son who is a student at NMU and our friends came along. Good location, well stocked, we would stay again.

The property was clean and just like the advertised photos. We loved the big dining room table that we could all come together at! The location was great for the morning walks on the beach. The front porch/deck was perfect for morning coffee and the back deck for grilling. Just a wonderful property, and wonderful owners that are right next door!

The home was beautiful, well-kept, and clean. Dore was easy to get a hold of and helpful about things to do around Marquette. The home was about 4 blocks from downtown and about a block from the beach. Close, but still quiet! There were lots of trails within a 15 min drive. 10 out of 10 experience!

This is it! The location is close to everything; lake, bike path, 3rd street, downtown, NMU, hiking and the list goes on. But the location is quiet, peaceful and relaxing. The house is very clean, decorated beautifully and is fully stocked for cooking and playing (rain or shine). The owners are friendly, prompt with responses and very helpful with the surrounding area. This is a definite “let’s stay here again” place.

We stayed during NMU graduation weekend. The location is close to the Dome and fun spots to hangout. It was great for entertaining. Plus the double oven came in really handy when preparing meals.

Dore was a incredibly gracious and generous host. I came up to visit my son at NMU. The house is beautifully decorated and immaculately clean. The kitchen was stocked really well. The beach is a short walk down the street which was really great as well as quick access to the walking path to town. I would highly recommend this house any time of year.

We enjoyed Dore's beautiful home for 5 days while visiting our son who goes to NMU. It's in a beautiful neighborhood, very close to the beach, and easy to walk to 3rd Street shops and downtown Marquette. The home is very comfortable with lots of seating options, plenty of kitchen supplies for cooking anything, and a big dining table. Our stay was a bit chilly outside, but we warmed up nicely with the gas fireplace. Beds are very comfortable too! There is a finished basement with its own bedroom, bathroom, and family room which my son enjoyed trememdously-100% nicer than the dorm. We look forward to staying at Dore's home again!

Very nice home with new furnishings located in a quiet neighborhood. The host was gracious and accommodated a flexible check-in process. Our group was visiting the area to ride mountain bikes. The home was close enough to ride to some trails from the home and also reasonable walk to restaurants downtown.

My wife and I absolutely love this place. Perfect location, near restaurants, lake, and Presque Isle. The property is spotless, and because owners are right next door they can address any issues (although there were NO issues when we were there. They offer suggestions on places to go and sites to see. It seems to be a very good neighborhood as a lot of people are out walking or biking all the time. The property soon became a second home. Dore thought of everything and we were kind of sad to leave because we were having such a great time.

This home is perfect. It is clean, stylish, comfortable and in the perfect location. It is a walkable distance to downtown, bars and restaurants in addition to NMU. The beach and beautiful Lake Superior are a block away. We will be back!

This house is well cared for, super clean and a great location for Marquette area fun. There is a large sitting area with lots of chairs for a crowd. It has a great big table for 8 to eat at. The owner is friendly and nice to deal with! We stayed with 3 couples and had a great experience!

We love everything about this home. The space is gorgeous and the owners are very accommodating. Great downstairs TV room area for the kids while the adults visit. The front and back deck were utilized often with plenty of seating. This is the third time we've stayed here and already looking at dates for next year. Thanks Dore!

Our long awaited visit to the UP was wonderful! The house was beautifully decorated and fully equipped providing a comfortable and relaxing stay. The bike path only minutes away set the scene for many walks along the lake and our location was perfect for day trips. Thank you for everything Doré.

My wife and I have stayed in many VRBO and similar properties over the years. They really come in two categories: In the first type, the owners view the property as an investment and the visitors as customers. They work to keep satisfied customers and everyone leaves happy most of the time. You get pretty much what you expect. However, on rare occasions you get a property of the second type. In this case, you feel like a true guest - you are staying with friends. This property is a great example of the second type of property. While the physical property, cleanliness, location, comfort. are outstanding, what really makes the property special is the landlord. Do yourself a favor and book this property.
